"Okay, I should begin on Less. Now Less and Leo have been best friends since the trip, they both teamed up on me and hated me, sometimes even clawing at me.. But anyway, Less is a barn owl, and she is.. Nothing but mean. First of all, her claws are black and are sharp, she has white feet, her body is plain white, with black dots speckled over like blood on a battlefield, and to me, that's what it seemed like. Her outer wings were white too, minus the speckles. Her left wing on the top had brown going down until it reached the white. The brown was like blood dripping from a window, which the window was the white. Then where the white started, there were upside-down black small triangle shapes, just three of them going upwards on the wing. Then on the right wing it was the same except for the brown part was smaller.. Moving onto the head, now her head on the top basically curved. On the middle, instead of continuing to go straight like the rest of the head, it decided to take a dip, and then curve, almost shaped like a heart. Now on the inside of the head, which was the front, her eyes held grey, with only white pupils like Leo. Her beak was white, and sharp. She had this smirk.. This smirk held not only grimness, but hatred. She hated everyone except Leo, and I swear, she would act like a perfect angel to everyone except me. But forget that, she also had this orange outline on the center base of her head. And that's Less. Now back to the story!" Winter says, happily to move on from Leo and Less.

I was getting the feeling and sense that Winter didn't like these two owls..

"Okay, where was I? Oh yes! 'Yeah.. The humans came in and they had these pointy things that looked like a weapon.. They were almost like black sticks, but they were hollow inside.. But all of a sudden they put their eyes in front of it, and then there was a loud boom... Something had fired from it, like a tiny ball. It hit tons of the snowy owls flying.. There was blood everywhere, and the owls fell from the sky.. The snow was supposed to be white.. But it was red, covered with fresh blood. I looked at them once, and one turned and stared at me.. He smirked, but didn't point his weapon at me. He had this intention in his eyes.. Like a spark of hatred.. Y'know, when we escaped, I didn't see anymore snowy owls..' Leo said, finishing. I was shocked by her story.. That meant that most of the snowy owls were gone, and now we were endangered. 'Yeah, I know right!? But all of the snowy owls in the trees were gone too. The humans came and 'shot' as they called it, the mothers, and took the eggs and smashed them.' Less said, too, embracing the drama. I listened, and now I had information. I couldn't share this with my family, however, because I would get beaten by the girls.. But that isn't the end of the story yet, Shadow! I have a very important part to tell you.." Winter said, staring at the spruce wall.
