I arrived back at my house, and I opened the door still carrying the egg. I just remembered I was supposed to be looking for logs and building but I had absolutely nothing done. "Oh well.. At least I saved some creatures today. What an adventure." I say quietly placing Athena's egg on the side table, and then saying: "But I know it won't be my last.." And with that I fall asleep on the wood, on the ground.

I awoke, and sat up, and stretched like a canine. "Uhh... Oh.. Yeah. That happened yesterday. How interesting." I say quietly to myself remembering and recalling what exactly had happened yesterday. I look to my right, and see the Berlix side table, and the speckled egg. Athena! "A-Athena!" I say rushing over to the egg. I arrived to where the egg was and I examined it. I saw a tiny crack starting to open up the egg.

"W-What!? Already? Hm. I better keep my eye on it." I say turning my back, but as soon as I did the egg exp loaded with magic. I instantly returned to the same position facing the egg. A cool breeze hit my mane, and that breeze was magic. The magic coming out of the egg sparkled, and now the egg top was fully cracked and it shattered to tiny pieces, until you couldn't even see them. A blue, purple and black flame arose from the inside of the egg. And out fluttered a very small creature.

And that wasn't any creature... That was Athena.

Athena had a light blue body, with dark blue wings, taking after Sterope while her tail feathers were dark purple and had black tips taking after her mother Astra. Her claws were even dark purple and had black tips, and her head was dark purple as well. Athena had three tough feathers in the back of her head that were fluffy. They were dark purple, with black tips also. She had the most penetrating eyes yet soft, and fierce. The eye color was as blue as a night sea. She had something very interesting though, going up from her beak to the toughs of tail feathers. They were black circle speckles.

Athena fluttered up and fluttered back down trying to grip at something to catch while she fell. She looked all around at her surroundings and then she met her eyes with mine. She had a smile with her beak. She tilted her head while examining me.

"Greetings, I am Shadow. And you're Athena." I say quietly and calmly to her. She opened her beak and chirped. I couldn't understand it. What..? I couldn't understand.. Athena? She chirped more and the only word I heard at the end I understood. "..... Athena.." She says along with a bunch of fast chirps. "I-I can't understand you. Do you know how to speak phoenix?" I asked looking for answers. She tilted her head as if she couldn't understand me either. She chirped more, and it seemed like we couldn't understand each other except for the word '... Athena.' She still had a sweet smile even thought we couldn't understand each other.

Chirps, chirps, and more chirps. I couldn't seem to understand. Were these some type of relics? Was something wrong with me? I knew it couldn't be my cutie mark because.. Well.. I don't exactly... Have one. Yes, that's right. I've been a blank flank this whole time. But this didn't feel like my mission for my cutie mark.
