I grinned widely. I was done with the project. I didn't even care that my fangs were showing when I grinned. I got up, and happily pranced around the main room of my cabin. I sighed from the hard work I had done. But now my mind drew a question.. What would I call this project? It couldn't just be wooden piece.

My thought was interrupted by a noise at the door. There was a knock, and very high pitched chirping. I realized what I had done. I had left Athena outside! I had forgotten she was following me! "Oh no!" I exclaimed racing to the door, and opening it swiftly.

Athena hopped inside. She panted as she looked tired from flying. She must have worn herself out. Her flame wings were still stretched out though, odd.

"Hmm.." I say in a whisper, secretly observing Athena's wings. I didn't think that her wings should be outstretched like that. Yes, she was just a chick, but her wings should have gone back to their normal position.

I decided that I would check over Athena. Taking care of animals was my dream after all.. It was time to pursue that dream, instead of waiting on nothing! I scooped up Athena in my hooves, and walked over to the Berlix wood side table.

Setting her down, I looked more closely. It seemed as though she was more tired. As though her burst of lava cooled off, or her flame burnt out.

"Hey, Shads, what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a scientist!" My sister beamed. 

"Welp, it is obvious that you want to be a scientist. Not to mention all of those scientific studies you do... But I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up. Not just a regular veterinarian though, a vet who has experience with all creatures. I want to help them." I say quietly. It was true, I loved animals, but most ponies hated them. 

"Oh, sounds coolio!" My sister replied. We were outside, enjoying the fresh, cool, summer air. The temperature was hot, and the breeze was cool, and we were both bored. Though, you would think that I wouldn't be bored because I have books to read, but no. The only other thing I do besides reading books, is hanging out with my sister.

It looked like Athena, may have sprained her wing.. I needed to figure this out... I needed to help Athena..
