"Okay. Here we go." Started the squeaky voice of the little creature.

"When I was first introduced to the Everfree Forest, by the brothers, AKA the founders, I was very curious. I wanted to explore the history of this place, and all of it's glory... But instead, I was assigned to sky duty. Which, don't get me wrong, that was fun! I got to drift and hover, and fly as much as I could...

But, I longed for the history. I needed more information to sulk up about this place to truly enjoy it, with full power. I didn't push my limits, though. I was very pleased I had a job, the brothers gave me a new chance, just like all of the others.

I patrolled the sky, and it was actually quite fun. I met new creatures that flew beyond the clouds, and I discovered more about the skies then anyone has ever recorded in a book. You really do have to go see things for yourself to have your own unique experience with it.

After a while, I realized that the brothers left. For, they were to never return. I never knew what happened, and I didn't want to know. I wanted to remember them in peaceful memories, instead of the unsettling truth... Which, is not right, but it's alright, until I feel differently.

The others wondered where the brothers went, they always believed that they would return... But... They didn't.

Anyway, one night, I know this sounds cliche in a storytelling way, but everything changed.

In a flash, your life is different, and new memories form, closing that old chapter in your book of life.

This night that I'm talking about, every creature knows about it... Well, unless you were just born, which would mean you would learn about it later.

This night is called: "The Nightmare's Return."
