Sitting up, I realized that I had slept til midnight.

Though, I did not want to abandon the night, I had to go inside to see Athena, and eventually get my sleep.

I got up, my hooves back onto the ground, and I was able to walk again. My hooves touched the cold soil, brushed by the wind. I walked to my cabin, and opened the door.

Inside, there was some warmth, but not much. I stepped into the cabin, and closed the door behind me. I saw Athena, she was still sleeping in her same spot, illuminating the tiny space with her purple flames for wings.

Some ponies would be afraid to have phoenix in their homes, but I wasn't. Those ponies probably thought that their house would burn down, but that is untrue.

I layed there on my same spot I usually layed to read books, day by day, night by night. I was laying on my stomach, tapping my hooves in the back of me, onto the wooden floor. I had my front hooves steady, and holding my book towards my face. My chin was held up in a straight position, reading each word of the book carefully. The specific book I was reading was called, "Mythical Creatures, And All About 'Em" I just finished reading about the Ursa Minors, and Majors, now I was moving onto the next page about Phoenix. By reading this book the 50 times I did, I knew about every word. But this time, on the far right of the Phoenix page, there were some information I had never caught before. It said, "Phoenix use a special type of magic flame, so that the flame only harms other creatures in self defense. This magic flame has no affect to objects or creatures out of pure random, must be self defense to actually take affect." I stared at the words memorizing them. That was interesting, but also very cool.

"Heh.." I say to myself. That phoenix sure was the laziest creature I have seen.

I go over to Athena, and lay next to her. Curling up next to her, she was like a fireplace, I was dazzled by her warmth, but also missed the cold.

Once again, I bid my partings from the world I was in, and go into sleep mode.
