Curse
The dark cave looked somewhat illuminated, but only I could see that, because being a wolf, I had night vision. Lucy could see somewhat, since she was a dog, but we still needed light to examine what we were looking at..
Still, we didn't dare make a sound. We didn't want the creature to get anymore frightened then they already were.
Good thing Athena came next to us, she was like a lantern in disguise. Athena's light illuminated the dark cavern, and now we could see what exactly we were looking at.
At least I knew what I was looking at. Lucy and Athena were hiding behind me, they didn't want to disturb the creature, just as much as I didn't. I peered from one of the sides, sticking my head slightly out, just so I could see inside of the cavern.
I looked to the farthest north, and I saw a big, black, fluffy ball of fur sleeping. This creature was facing the backside, so I couldn't see the face of them. All I really saw was the black fur, and a spiky, brown, collar.
I tilted my head. I had seen some creature just like this one. I just couldn't put my paw on it. I remembered reading about 'mythical creatures' just like this one.
"Hmm." I murmured, quietly. I slowly tiptoed into the cavern. I let my hooves make no sound, and my heart quickened. Not just because this was a creature- I wasn't scared of this creature, no. I was scared for the creature. This place must of been very scary, and very isolated. I would have wanted freedom, badly.
I could hear the dripping of water on the top of the cavern, dropping to the cold, stone, grounding. This cavern must have been very, very, lonely. But not anymore. I was going to free this creature.
