I looked for something to say, since there was an awkward silence between all of us, but I couldn't think of anything. Usually it was me who would not say anything, but with these creatures, I felt like I could say anything to them.

"WAIT! I HAVE TO GO CHECK THE PORTAL!" Astroid shouted, and began to ran off. I didn't blame him, he was away for so long, many things could have happened to that portal. The portal could have even opened up, or worse, all of the poisoned creatures got out. I knew this would be the last farewell, before I ever saw Astroid again. He would be too busy protecting the Everfree.

Astroid was still running when he looked back at all of us. "GOODBYE! I WILL SEE YOU SOON!" He shouted, and continued running with his heads held high.

I laughed quietly, that creature was very determined. I hoped things were going to go well for him.

"Goodbye!" I quietly shouted back, Lucy looked at me with a confused expression.

"You need to be louder! He can't hear you from here. Like this: GOODBYE!!!" She shouted, and nearly took out my ears.

I held my paws to my ears, and tried to not fall on the ground from that radioactive wave of sound she made. "Ow." I peeped, for I was sensitive to loud noises, hence my quiet voice.

Lucy looked at me and her eyes softened. "Sorry." She said in a quieter tone. Lucy and Athena both looked ready to move on with our adventure, and I was, too.

"Are you guys ready to find a base to rest?" I asked, because we had to find a base. We were too far from home, we were all tired, and we couldn't leave the spot because we had to find the other creatures.

Athena chirped and tilted her head, and Lucy nodded. I suppose it was time to bid our farewell to this place then.

And so, we all started to look for a place to rest. I ran with my paws widespread on the ground below me, Lucy trailed close behind, and Athena flew right next to us.
