Your pov,

The second time I went into the game,I went further than mere avatar customization.

"The room I am in is so dark,"I mumbled to myself as I looked around and my eyes landed on the three doors before me.

Each door has symbols of different shapes with glowing dark purple colours.
One door has a triangle shape,another one was circular and the last one was marked with three vertical lines.

I made a few steps forward and stopped when I heard a welcome :
                            Welcome (Y/n)   
Before you begin your journey,you have to decide which road you will take.Choose carefully,this is offered to you only once.

Ok...but,should I go throughone of these doors just like that?

I stared at the doors.
I don't get it.What is this supposed to mean?

       (Y/n),it's time to choose your path

There's a chest in front of you.It is marked with signs for all doors.Everything else depends on you.

Me?
Then,I sootted a chest and went to it as I carefully opened the chest.

There were three cards with symbols on all of them.And they corresponded to the symbols on the doors.
Hmm...which card should I read first?

I picked up the triangle card and it said:

"The place for everybody but,the home of nobody"

Interesting.

I picked the circle card and read what was written on it :

"Everybody's welcomed but,nobody stays too long"

Yikes,sounds scary but,exciting.

I picked up the last card and read it :

"I hide you but,it could be for eternity"

Hmm...I must decide.
I hide you,but,it could be for eternity.
Sounds challanging to me.

I chose the third door with lines so,I touched it with my hand.
That's when the whole room started to dissolve right in front of me,thus,creating a breathtaking scenery.

The darkness in front of me was gone as I finally entered the world of Shadowtime.

Wow.
The smell of leaves mixed with the smell of air tingled my nose.I looked around and saw the beginning of the woods.
"I'll hide you but,it could be for eternity,"I mumbled the phrases of the card for the door I chose again.

Yeah,it makes all sense now.
I looked on the other side,hoping that there would be also a safe place,somewhere.

The woods didn't seem liek something I could trust although it was beautiful.
And I believe the woods are noty only choice.
I could go somewhere else.

I decided to go to left.
The further I am from the woods,the safer I am...

What the irnoy?!

Now,I am in an open space,feeling like a sitting duck.

Maybe,I should get to know to the enviroment first and see what I can find around.

Omg,this is so amzing!
I've played so many games but,none of them can compare to the feeling this beautiful before my eyes invokes.

Then,my game stats appeared in fromt of my eyes while I was looking around.
Obviously,this is the first level.

That's pretty disappointing but,I am pretty sure I can progress and level up fast.
I can even play this game with my eyes shut.

I giggled as I spinned aroud,breathing in a refreshing air.

I feel so relexed because the world I was in seems so attractive and seems so safe.

However,I noticed some movements in the field and a group of players fighting around.

A girl was fighting and trying to save herself.

Oh,the heck?!Somone is running after her!
That's when I heard my alarm sounded.
Large red letters were displayed in the right corner of my vizor.

    A higher lever player is detected near by
                       Caution is advised!

Caution?!Thanks a lot for the warning,dear game.

Now,I know what to do in cases like this.
I need to hide.
The entrance of the village is still blocked for me,so,I can only run for the woods.
Oh,no.They are getting closer.

Think this will be my glorious beginning and at the same time,the end of playing Shadowtime.

Record beaten!Ten minutes and twenty seconds of playing.

I watched a player from  a higher level needed just a little more to reach the girl,but,her armor was lighter and she was moving faster.

His sword only missed her for a split second.
Then,something unusual happened,the girl disappeared.

Holy heavens!How did she pull that?
She is invisible!

The experienced worrior kost his target and was furious.Unfortunately for me,that's when he spotted me.

No,no!
Momma used to say:
"(Y/n),every beginning is very hard,but,you will survive"

I won't bet on it!
I am gonna run,there is nothing else I can do right now.
Without a second thought,I started running into the woods.

Haha,I gotta admit although this is not entirely courageously,I planned to survive.
I stooped when I saw some foot prints on the right path.

Someone must have passed by not too long ago.And there was a piece of ripped ckoth was on the branch.

I am not sure that higher level plaer was following me or not,but,I couldn't risk it.
Soon,I found a suitable place and took cover.

I was listening carefully.
Great.He gave up on me.If he had come after me,I would've heard him because of his armor.

I took a sigh of relief but,I guess it was too soon.It was too late when I noticed that the bushes near by started to move.

Someone approached me from behind and put a dagger to my throat.
"Who are you?!Why are following me?!"a feminine voice said.

"H-hi,I am (Y/n).I entered the game just before you ran into the woods,"I said.

"I wasn't running away!I never run away from anyone,"the girl said proudly but,it didn't seem like it.

"It didn't seem like that to me.But,I don't blame you,"I said and she pouted as she glared at me.

"Speak,why are you following me?!"she asked again.

"Urgh!Put down the dagger and we can talk!"I yelled,a little angry.
"You're not the only one who can set the rules!"she yelled back.

"Trust me,I just got into the game,I don't even know anything yet!"I said and she loosened her grio for a little,letting me breathe but,onky for a brief moment.

The next moment,I lost all the air insude my lungs when she threw me onto the ground.
She pressed my chest with her boots and yelled.
"Speak!"

"I am speaking!Gosh,I don't even know who you are!I don't even know where I am.That's all there is to it!"I yelled back,getting mad.

"I expected more form you,"the girl said,smiling.
I rolled my eyes.
"Like what?A fight maybe.How funny!"I said.

"You fight wuth what you have.I see that you are a beginner but,you've seen too much already,"the girl said.

"Are you referring to the fact that how I see you became invisible?"I asked.
"You couldn't exactly see me,but,you saw me running away,"she said.

"So what?I also ran away when I saw him in a heavy armor,"I said.
"I could've beaten him but,I didn't have the time,"she said as she put her dagger back in her case and hurriedly moved away from me.

"You're gonna leave just like that?"I asked with my eyes widened.

"Wanna hear some advise?Don't you ever follow me again or else..."the girl said as she turned her back on me and started to walk away.

"Wait!How did you become invisible?You didn't tell me that,"I said and she snickered.
"Huh!Beginners...Bye!"she said and with that,she was gone.

I sighed and got up as I removed the dust from my clothes.I knew I couldn't stay in the woods for too long and that...

I need weapons more than anything.

I made a T_T face.
What an infamous beginning.

Then,I cheered myself again.
I can't let anyone put me in a tight corner like that again anymore.I will find any kind of weapon!

Little did,I knew that the only way to get a weapon was either to buy it or win it in a fight and I wasn't capable of any of that right now.

I left the woods and stopped near the village to take a good look at the surroundings.

It looked all safe,however,I was still afraid.
I have to muster the courage and dash forward.

I ran all the way until I reached the fortress with the guards.A short notification appeared on my vizor.

              You're in a No PvP zone now

I sighed.What a relief.
There is a village behind the walls where fighting among the olayers isn't allowed.
But...the gates are still closed.
How do I get in?

Maybe i should ask the guards?

I came close rto the gate and the guards stepped out and stood in my way.
"Ahem...excuse me,hey?"I called but,no responce.

Stupid bots!

I was standing at the gate,hoping some other players would show up and help me get in.

I could have asked Anna to play with me.She would definitely know what to do to earn the entrance into the village.

And I will be needing a companion someday and I must make sure I find Anna as soon a possible.

My sensor for immediate danger sounded again.Somebody was approaching me,but,I had nowherw to go this time.

I lookked at rhe player.He was holding his helmet in one hand and a huge swors stained with blood in the other.

He spotted me and pointed his sword at me.
"It's you,again!"he yelled,making me wonder why his voice seems familiar and his looks too.
"Who are you and what do you want from me?"I asked,narrowing my eyes.

"Don't pretend you're courageous,you're just a beginner!"he yelled,making me angry.

"Just who are you,anyway?!"I said but,he ignored me as he approached me.

"Open the gate,right now!I am injured!"he said as he came so close to me.
Only then,did I finally realize who he was.

It was Jack!

Although,there was no danger or a chance that,he could recognize me right now,I immediateky turned away from him,hiding my face.

Oh my goodness,he only bought the equipment a while ago in front of my eyes.
How did Jack progress so far?

Jack narrowed his eyes as he passed by.
I felt him glanced at me.He was furious and there I was,standing in his way again.

"Ahh!"I heard him yelled.

I flung myself aroud and saw that he has dug down his sword to the ground,holding onto the it in pain.

Oh no,is he ok?

Just before the gates close once again,our eyes met and I am not sure but,the furious look on his face changed as it he was surprised.

I breathed heavily as I wish to get out of here.If I would be any chances of getting involve in a fight,I  wouldn't be able to get out of the game without consequences.

I logged out of the game and I succeeded.
