Jack was standing by our table,smiling at me and not realizing the consequences of what he just said to my mother.
He looked friendly and honest.
It looked like he meant no harm,but,je jaut want to be witty instead.

Our eyes met and it seems like he is telling me to trust him,calming me down.
"And may I know your name,young man?"my mom said and Jack turned to her with a gorgeous smile.

"I am Jack,Jack Frost.(Y/n)'s friend from school.Nice to meet you,Mrs.(L/n),"Jack said,politely.

"Nice to meet you,Jack.I am (M/n),(Y/n)'s mother,"mom said,smiling again.

I felt kinda lame cuz,I wasn't part of their conversation.But,everything seems to be going pretty well even without me interfering.

"I was passing by and saw (Y/n).I couldn't jus walk away without saying hello to her,"Jack said and I blushed a bit.
"That's very nice of you.You know...I am very curious to find out more about the virtual reality you mentioned.Please have a seat,Jack,"my mom said,unusually calm.

I could tell that she is not gonna miss this coversation for anything.
Bummer.There is nothing I can do right now.

"Thanks,Mrs.(L/n).It'd be my pleausre,"he said as he sat down beside me.
He seems confused as if he just realized that he is doing something he coudn't.

Jack was trying to act cool,but,I knew that he is terribily nervous right now.
"I am gald that (Y/n) has friends other than...Anna,"mom said and I blushed.
"Mom!"

"Haha,your mom is right,snowflake.
Whenever I see you,you're always with Anna,"Jack said and I blushed as I pouted and looked away.
"So what?Anna and I share the same interests and she is the closets person to me,"I said as I looked back to Jack.

I blushed when I saw a sign of jealousy in his eyes although it was well hidden behind his smile.
Luckily,my mom broke the silence.

"So,Jack.You mentioned that (Y/n) was happier in the virtual world and that...leaves me to a conclusion that she was playing the game again..."my mom said,narrowing her eyes at me.

"Shadowtime?"Jack said.
"Yes,that's the one,"mom said.
I tried to join in the talk but,she cut me off.
"(Y/n),we will discuss this at home.Now,I want to talk to Jack,"mom said and I decided to tell nothing anymore.

"I met (Y/n) when she first entered the virtual world of Shadowtime and I found out that we were going to the same school later and I was really glad then,"Jack said,smiling and I couldn't help but,blushed as I smiled.

"I was also glad that somebody other than Anna like to play Shadowtime and...with me,"I said,smiling and Jack smiled at me.
I felt my heart beating fast again.
"I'll always be there whenever you need a companion to play with.You know that..."Jack said.

"Hmmm...I knew (Y/n) couldn't organise things by herself,"my mom said and I frowned.
"Don't blame her,Mrs.(L/n).She was just trying to help you,"Jack said,standing up for me.

"That's right,mom.I am just trying to be useful,"I said,looking away.
"Interesting...Jack,can you tell me how (Y/n) managed to earn that money in the game?"

Jack started explaing every details and my mom listened very carefully while I saud nothing.
"When Anna asked me to help
(Y/n).I just couldn't say no because I would like to see her too,I am sorry you had to find out this way,"Jack said.

"You're a honest and brave man,Jack.I appreciate those traits very much,"mom sid amd Jack blushed.
"Thanks,Mrs.(L/n),"Jack said.

Finally,my mom looked at me.
"And (Y/n),as far as you're concerned.I have only one thing to say,"she said and my heart beating crazily right now like a hammer.I was terrified and embarrassed of what she might say in front of Jack.

However,what she said really amazed me.
"(Y/n),I've always thought you would be too sensitive for this world and I feared you wouldn't get through it.But,you proved me wrong.You have found amzing friends,"my mom said,smiling.

I wanted to jump in joy and higged her with I have cuz,she gave me hope that everything would fall into place and that there would be no need to play Shadowtime in secret.

"Well,if you'll excuse me,I am gonna leave.It was nice meeting you,Mrs.(L/n),"Jack said.
"The pleasure's mine,"my mom said.
"Goodbye,Mrs(L/n).Bye,(Y/n).See you at school,"Jack said and I smiled at him.

"See you tomorrow,Jcak!"I said and he smiled at me before he started walking away.

And once Jack was gone,my mom's mood switched almost immediately.We finished our dinner in silence and left home.

As soon as we left the restaurant,my mom started throwing questions at me.And I knew I was gonna tell her the truth.
I have nothing to lose.

"(Y/n),I knew why you grew fond of virtuality reality that much.You wanted to escape reality and find a shelter since you never had it inside your home,"mom said.

"Yes,mom,"I said.She was right.
"I've thought about everything and now that,I talked to Jack.I understand your situtstion much better,"mom said and smiled a bit.
"Whew.Thanks for understanding,mom.I just want to feel contribute and feel useful,you know that,right?"I asked.

"What matters most is that you have friends who will always be there for you and who won't be using you.Such friends are so rare today,"mom said,making me wonder if something happened to her before.

"Thanks,mom.I am proud to have all of my friends,"I said,smiling as i think about Jack and Anna.
"This whole virtual reality thing seems so vague to me.I have no idea how it works,but,if socializing goes that way these days,then,I guess I wil have to adjust to it,"my mom said and I gasped.

"D-does that mean you're gonna let me play Shadowtime?"I asked.
"I was thinking about that,but..."my mom said and a sign of hesitation was on her face.

"Mom,will you please think once again?That game helped me contact with Jack and it brings me closer to Anna,"I said.

"You're saying money isn't the only reason you're saying for?"mom asked,raising a brow.
"Yeah,not everything is good about the money,"I said.

"Umm...you were saying something else when you were begging me to give you back the equipment,"mom said.

"A lot of things changed,mom.Spending time with my friends became more...
fun,exciting,challanging,working together as a team till the end and earning money at the same time!"I said,excitedly.

"You're mixed with bussiness and pleasure,it looks like your job is better than mine,"mom said,chuckling.
"You bet!"I said,giggling.

Mom finally cut me some slack and let me explain that computer games can be useful in so many ways.
"We can make a deal,(Y/n) and I hope you can stick to it,"mom said.
"Alright,mom"

"I will give you your equipment back only under one condition,"my mom said.
Did I hear that right?
"And what's that?"I asked.
"You're only allowed to used it only on weekends and you have to do well at school,"she said and I was so haooy right now.

"Yay!Thanks,mom.You have no idea how thankful I am,"I said and she smiled.
"I only hope you respect my decisions and conditions,"she said.
"Sure thing!"

I can't wait to tell Jack and Anna!

When we got home,mom gave me back my VR equipment and reminded me of only the weekends rule.

When she left for the room,I started jumping up and down for joy although it's only on Tuesday.
I can't believe I can finally play Shadowtime without fear and reproach.
I can't for the weekends to come.

Anna will be thrilled when she heard tht news unless Jack tells her that he ran into my mom.
I jumped onto the bed and reached to my cell phone.I decided to call Jack and tell him the good news also,to thank him for today.

Besides,Anna is probably busy having a date with Kristoff,I ship it!

But,right now,I want Jack to be the first person who knows this big news.

"Hey,snowflake!Did you miss me?"

"Haha,I am not calling you because I miss you"

"Ouch,my feelings are hurt"

I laughed at his words.
"I called because...I need you to tell me something hoenstly,"I said looking out at my window.

"Sure,snowflake!I will tell you whatever you wish.I am honest and brave"

"*giggles*Jack,I am serious"

"Alright.Alright.I am listening"

"Did you really stumble on me and my mom at the restaurant?"

"You think I came to trouble you?Please,(Y/n),you gotta believe me.It really was a concidence"
I smiled,hearing the nervousness in his voice.

"Even if it was a concidence,I still...want to thank you,"I said as I sat down on my bed.

"I don't get it...What happened after I left?"Jack asked,confused.
"It seems that you boardened my mother's horizons and made her believe that playing Shadowtime has some good sides as well"

"Haha,your mother seems to like me and (Y/n),that's not a concidence!"Jack said and I couldn't help but,smiled at his happy voice.
"Good job,you left an impression on my mom and that's one of the very rare happenings.Maybe you're the reason why she changed her mind about the whole thing"

"That's big news although I am a little bit disappointed"

"Why?Do you think my mom is gonna punish me.How could you?"

"Haha,easy there,snowflake.I am disappointed because...you won't be needing me anymore"

I blushed at his words and my heart skipped.

"Jack,if you really think that I don't need you,I'd have never made it here until now.You're one of the reasons why I play Shadowtime because I am happy that I got to spend my time with someone who likes me for the way I am.I used to tell Anna first whenever something happens to me but,this time,you're the first person I am telling,"I said,blushing.

It was quiet for a while.
"I am still gonna play the game but,this time we are all playing together"

"That's a relief,snowflake.I am glad that you made it so far and and that I got to help you once again.But,do you know what I am more glad about?"

"What's it?"I asked.
"You.I am glad that I met you,"he said and I blushed at his words.
"I meant it.I meant it when I say I wanna know more about you and I meant every word I said while we were with your mom,(Y/n).Ever since I met you,you are always different and special in my eyes and I can't just stop thinking about you lately.I wanna know everything about you"

I blushed at his words.
My heart was beating so fast right.

I took a deep breathe and said it.
"Then,tomorrow.I will tell you everything you wanna know about me tomorrow"

Jack seemed to be surprised.
"Really?You mean it?"he asked I told him yes.

"Great!I-I will see you tomorrow then?"Jack said with a very happy voice.
"Sure.Good night,Jack"
"Night snowflake.Sweet dreams"

With that we hung up.
I lied down and hid my head in my pillow,smiling happily as I squealed.

Meanwhile with Jack,

Jack laughed happily as he threw his hands into the air,happy about what (Y/n) said.
He is finally gonna get know to her.
He laughed as he threw himself onto his bed,unable to sleep.

The next day,your pov,

I told mom goodbye as I left the house a bit early today since I am nervous and excited to meet Jack.

I got surprised when I saw Jack walking up to me in his uniform.
"Hey snowflake!"Jack said,cascually.

"J-Jack?W-What ae you doing here so early?"I asked.
"Well,I came to pick you up so,I can walk with you to school and get to know to you on the way,"Jack said.

He came all the way here for me?
I could even jump for joy and touch the sky right now.

Then,we laughed as I started telling him everything he asks and everything he wanna knows more about me.

Even though we reached to school,Jack still wanted to talk more,so,I promised him that I will after school.

At lunch time,

I met up with Anna at our usual spot under the tree and Jack joined us this time.
I told Anna about what happened and yesterday and she was so excited.
We were chatting random stuff.

"Say.You guys free tonight?"I asked as both of Jack and Anna looked at me.
"Yea,why?"they both said at the same time.

"I want to invite you guys for dinner tonight,my treat,"I said and they smiled happily.
"Wouldn't missed it for the world,
snowflake,"Jack said.
"Uh huh,I am coming too,"Anna said.

"Greart,then,tonight at 6,what do you say?"I asked and they nodded.
I saw Kristoff passing by.Jack and me looked at each other and nodded,smirking.

"Hey Kristoff,got a minute?!"Jack yelled and Kristoff looked over at us.
When he saw Anna,he started walking up to us.Anna was blushing a mess.

We invited Kristoff and he agreed to come.
After we finished school,Jack was waiting for me in front of my class to continue our talk while walking me home.

Later that day,at 6:00 P.M,

We all met up at 6:00 P.M at the restaurant as agreed.I was the last one to arrive since I decided to dress up quick.

When I walked into the shop,Jack looked at me and smiled as he quickly ran up to me and grabbed my hand as if we were a couple.

He leaded me to the table where Anna and Kristoff were sitting with smirks on their face.

Jack let me sit first and then,he sat down beside me,putting an arm behind me.
He leaned in my ear and he quickly whispered.
"You look gorgeous"

I blushed and coughed while Anna giggled and Kristoff shook his head,smirking.
"You should buy flowers for her,"Kristoff said.
"My words exactly,"Anna said,agreeing with Kristoff.

"Of course,I thought of flowers but,I think that flowers will fade away when compared with (Y/n),
so,I am gonna be a gentleman and try to swoon her just naturally,"Jack said as he grabbed my hand and kissed the tip of my fingers,making me blush.

Anna rolled her eyes.
"Flirting"
We skipped formalities and ordered our dinner.Normally,we started talking about Shadowtime and turns out that Kristoff was also playing too.

We decided to play together.
As we talked,I felt less tension and we all seemed like a great team.

We all had the same goal.
Kill the bandits and recover the gold that was taken.
Kristoff decided to help us too.
"I can't wait to get in the game again and find thoae freaking bandits!"Jack said,smiling excitedly as our drinks came.

"Don't forget that they own me too,"Anna said.
"Sorry about that,if only I had stayed in the game back then,nome of this would have happened to you guys,"I apologized,
looking down.

"That goes without saying,snowflake.It's not your fault.Don't worry about that,"Jack said as he held my hand tightly from under the table.

"Yea,(n/n),the most important thing was to complete the quest on time not the bandits.Besides,you had to complete the quest for certain reasons,"Anna said.

"Still...I wish I could have helped you,"I said.
"You'll get the chance as soon as you log back into the game,snowflake,"Jack said and lightly gripped my hand from under the table,making me smile.

"Yeah,we all join force and destroy those bandits,"Kristoff said,cheering us up.
"But,there are too many of them.If we come up with good tactics,we are gonna rule!"Jack said and we nodded.

"And...I've got a perfect plan for it.We just have to work together,"Anna said.
"My token won't work on the four of us simultaneously,"I said.

"Don't worry about that.Anna can get a diversion.You'll be shooting from a distance,well guarded,"Jack said.

"I can't wait to get back in the game!"I said.
I was having so much fun that I forgot about the time.I was even more relaxed in Jack's company than usual and naturally,I am sure Jack noticed that himself too.

We have become a bit closer even since yesterday.He started looking at me differently.One thing for sure is that it's not in a bad way.

And of course,Anna noticed the change and smirked.
"Well.It's time for us to go.I think we stayed long enough.Congratulations again,
(n/n),"Anna said as she got up.

"I will walk you home.Thanks for the treat,(Y/n).We'll leave you two alone and let you enjoy your own little world,"Kristoff said and winked at us.

"Haha,we all stay long enough.After all,this is (Y/n)'s special evening,"Jack said as he looked back at me and played with my hair sightly,making me blush.

"We are gonna stay here and chat for a while.Don't worry,I'll walk her home,"Jack said and Anna laughed.
"Have fun with your boyfriend,
(n/n).Call me on Saturday to make arrangements for the game,"Anna teased as Anna and Kristoff started leaving,making me blushed a mess.

"Ok!Enjoy your date!"I teased back and they laughed as they exited the restaurant,leaving just me and Jack.

We said nothing.Just sitting beside him and enjoying his company felt comfortable.

I raised my glass and I saw Jack smiling at me as he looked at me.
"What's so funny?"I asked,smiling.
"Nothing,I just remembered something,"he said and I blushed, knowing what he remembered.

"Haha,right.I am not gonna spill it this time,"I said,blushing as he chuckled.
"I know,it's just really funny,"he said and I blushed.

"I was just scared back then,"I said and he frowned.
"Do I look like a terrifying person to you,(Y/n)?"he asked with serious eyes.

"Only when you wear an armor,"I said and he started laughing his heart out which awakes a whole new sea of emotions inside me.
It was more than just a mere infatuation.
We finished our dinner in a good mood and left the restaurant,feeling fantastic and satisfied,knowing that we would finally be able to play Shadowtime freely.

In fact,Jack was more thrilled than I was.
It looks like he wanted to confide in me and reveal the greatest secret in the world.

"I've had such a great time tonight.We should do this again,"I said,smiling and hoping that he would say yes.
"Totally!"he said,excitedly and I giggled.

"But,what would be the occasion?Celebration of victory over the bandits?"I said,smiling.

Jack stopped walking as he grabbed my hand and also stopped me,blushing.We were half way back to my home.
"Actually,I was thinking about going out for no particular reason,"he said.

"I wouldn't mind.I have an amzing time whenever I am with my friends,"I said,smiling at him but,Jack frowned.

"Friends...umm..."he mumbled.
"Did I say something wrong?"I asked,taking a step to him.

He shook his head,still holding my hand as he looked back at me,straight into the eyes.
"No,it's just...you didn't understand,"Jack said and I went even more confused.

But,then,Jack smirked.
"I can't think of any other way to explain,I'll have to show you what I meant,"Jack said as he took a step closer to me.

I was still waiting for his next mood.
"I am ready to get punched!"Jack said,smiling.
I looked at him with a questioning look with a smile.
"Why would I punch you?"I asked.

"Because of this..."Jack said as he started to get closer to me and my heart started pounding like crazy that I fear Jack may even hear it.

I looked at my reflection in his ocean blue eyes and I was completedly charmed.He quickly put his lips on mine and I twitched in surprise.

He used that moment to kiss me more intensely as I was now backuped against the wall nearby.My hands were on his chest.
Omg,Jack is kissing me?
I started kissing him back and we started to kiss each other passionately as we bacame lost in the kiss.
Soon,I panted as he broke the kiss and looked into my eyes.
"You missed the chance to punch me,snowflake"
