A/n I'm gonna start calling black*star star cause its a cute nickname and it's easier to write.

Star' pov

Dream

All I saw was darkness, all over me, consuming me slowly, then I saw her, tsubaki. I reach out to her as she disappears. I start to cry, she was my best friend, the only one who understood me. I stare at the darkness and then I realize that was wrong, I had shadow, she understands me, I mean we're from the same clan, I-I think I like her'

I wake up looking around remembering last night. I blush, 'what was I thinking, ugh, what if that tipped her off that I like her, I'm a moron.' While I was mentally scolding myself I didn't notice shadow waking up.  "Oh, morning star," she said snapping me away from my train of thought. "Oh, um, morning shadow, how did you sleep?" I ask. "I should be asking you that star, I wasn't the one crying in my sleep again," she said. "Sorry, she was there and I just miss her." I said fighting back tears. "Oh speaking off her, I was going to send her off today to the next world, do you wanna watch?" She asks. I'm having a mental debate over whether I should go or not. I nod and get out of bed with shadow following me. I write a quick note and stick it on kids fridge, he should notice it cause it's asymmetrical. I grab shadow and leave and head over to her house. I drag her to her room and I go to mine.

Normal pov

Once your both dressed, you head to the living room where shadow sends tsubaki to the other side. Once you complete that you lay down on the couch tired. You always felt drained after sending someone to the other side. "Whew, I'm pooped," you complain. "You need anything shadow" star said sitting next to you on the couch. You shake your head. You then remember something. "Hey star, we're officially partners right," you ask. He nods. "Then shouldn't I enroll at the Academy? I mean you go there and it would make sense that I should go to." You say. Then he gets up and bolts out of the house. You just sit there dumbfounded. Then he comes running back, picks you up and bolts out again. You hold onto him tightly. You then stop. You look up at the building and stare in awe. Star then puts you down and takes your hand and leads you throughout the building. You then come to a stop at a large door. Star opens it and leads you down the hall. You come to another set of door. He knocks on the door and a cartoonish voice replies "come in." The two of you walk in. You hid behind star scarred of meaning the lord of death. "Hey lord death," star says. "Hiya, heya, how ya doing, where's tsubaki." The moment he said her name I jump out from star, still behind him and former an X with me arm with an experetion saying 'please don't ask.' He looks areto me confused and asked "and who's this?" "I'm good, this is my new partner shadow*star, and shadow can explain tsubaki, I was knocked out when it happened" star says. Lord death looks at you with confusion written all over his mask (almost said face, but he wears a mask). You then explain the day you met black*star minus the you two sleeping together. "And we were wondering if I can enroll here with my meister." You say finishing up your talking. He nods and hands you a sheet off paper with what you assumed your classes are. You smile and star leads you out of the room. "Take care of this one black*star, I can tell she's a special one," he says, you blush a light tint of pink. You guys head home and you see the time. 8:32. 'HOW LONG WERE WE OUT FOR!!!!' you say in your head. You head to your room, change and tell star to go to bed cause we have school tommorow. You climb in bed and fall asleep. Before you fell completely asleep, you felt the bed shift and arms warp around your waist. "Goodnight shadow," you hear star say. "Night star," you say before you let sleep consume you.
