Someone once said: "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Whoever said, they had no idea how right they could be.

Alexia: *cold seething glare* How long?

Y/n: *sitting in a dogma position, head down, terrified* S-since we were kids.

Iris: *hot seething glare* Even before you met us, y/n.

Y/n: *weak nod* Yes ma'am.

Sherry: *in awe* So you've been cronan this entire time, y/n?

Y/n: *sweating from alexia and iris's glares* Yes sherry, I have. 'I don't know what's more impressive, the fact sherry doesn't notice the dangerous lionesses besides her or the fact that alexia and iris haven't killed me yet.'

I then noticed, both alexia and iris had their hair covered their eyes a bit, shaking and can hear their teeth gritting, here we go.

Alexia: *seething anger* You.

Y/n: *looks at neferpitou and penny* You two go on ahead and check on any of the injured.

Neferpitou: *hesitate* Nyah, but lord cronan-

Penny: *trusting smile* Come on nefer, y/n will be alright. He is our master for a reason, and lady alpha will step in if necessary.

Neferpitou: *reluctant* Nyah, okay big sis penny.

Penny and neferpitou went, and now it was just me, sherry, and two very pissed off princesses.

Y/n: *concerned* Alexia, iris I can expl-

*3rd pov*

Immediately the two princesses unleashed two heavy slaps to both of the h/c teen's cheeks, sherry immediately wanted to step in, but alpha stopped her and gave her a look telling her not to interfere. Y/n could practically feel heat coming off from both of his cheeks being slapped, but what truly hurt him was seeing their anger filled eyes welling up tears in the betrayal and pain.

Iris: *angry while tears fell* YOU HEARTLESS LYING BASTARD!!!!

Alexia: *angry while tears fell* THIS WHOLE TIME, THIS WHOLE TIME, YOU'VE BEEN CRONAN AND PRACTICALLY ASKING DEATH TO GRAB YOUR LYING ASS!!!!

Y/n: *nervous smile* Well, if it makes you feel better you two, I give death plenty of souls, of the idiots instead of me. *nervous laugh*

Iris: *angry* Don't make light of this y/n! Do you have any idea how much alexia and I worry about you when you do something stupid, especially that time with that fire bear when we were kids!

Y/n: *joking smile* I made some good bear stew with him, didn't I.

Alexia: *angry with tears still falling* TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY YOU IDIOT!!!!

Y/n: *serious* I've always taken this seriously, you two! I've always have!

Iris: *angry with tears still falling* THEN WHY PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER, THERE ARE PLENTY OF KNIGHTS TO DEFEND YOU AND US!!!!

Y/n: *serious* I don't care! I do this to protect everyone I care about, including you two!

This made the two midgard princesses get taken by surprise, y/n then walked up to the two, placing a hand on their tear stained cheeks, he wipes away the princesses tears.

Y/n: *guilty* Look, I know you two feel like I possibly-

Alexia and Iris: *angry* ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Y/n: *guilty sigh* Backstab your hearts. *sober* But, no matter what anyone says especially from you two, I won't allow anyone to harm who I care about. *determined* Especially anyone like that loser swordsman.

The midgard princess could feel y/n's words had not hits of deception and were true with every word. Y/n then slowly moved his hands away from the two's faces and stepped away from them a bit.

Y/n: *sober smile* Frankly, I always figured you two would find me out, and if you both don't want us to be together, I understand.

The air between the three was silent, sherry was watching the scene nervous and worried for y/n, while alpha merely watched with a stern and blank look. The silent air was broken when alexia came forward to y/n.

Y/n: *confused* Alex-

Taken by surprise, alexia then slaps y/n again and weirdly as if time was messing with him, y/n fell to the ground in slow-motion.

Iris: *shocked* Alexia!

Sherry: *worried* Y/n!

Y/n: *gets back up while holding stinging cheek* What the hell kitten?! I already feel guilty and the first two slaps were reasonable, so what's with the third?!

Alexia: *annoyed sigh* You really think iris or me break up with you over something like that, poochy?

Y/n: *rubs his cheek* Guess I let my brain overthink the aftermath.

Alexia: *small smile* Even though you can sometimes be an idiot y/n, you're our idiot.

Iris: *small sigh* Not how I would word it, *small smile* but you're the man we love y/n, and don't forget, we made that special promise.

Y/n: *reminiscent smile* To marry the both of ya and have a good family. Haven't forgot about it. *slightly sweat in fear* I still think your dad is going to chop my head off.

Alexia: *rolls her eyes* Get a grip idiot, sis and I will handle him. *opens up her arms* Now hug us!

Y/n immediately brought iris and alexia into a warm hug, and the two immediately sank into their boyfriend's warmth and took in his scent.

Alpha: *fake cough* I'm glad your matter *shoots alexia with a jealous glare* princesses. But I have important information to discuss with you.

Alexia releases from her hug, and looks directly at alpha, and suddenly the air between becomes a bit cold.

Alexia: * "calm" closed eye smile, magic aura rises a bit* So we meet again, elf. Didn't know you work for my future husband.

Alpha: * "calm" closed eye smile, magic aura rises a bit* Yes, and it's good you're in good health princess alexia. Though, you should know, y/n is my entire life, he saved me, and we've been very close since childhood.

Alexia: *twitching dark smile, twitch mark* Is. That. So. From what I see, I'm always been with y/n's side while you weren't, elf.

Alpha: *twitching dark smile, twitch mark* My my, hasn't anyone taught you proper edicate princess alexia.

Immediately both females aura were skyrocketing along with what looks like two dragons fighting each other while bothe females eyes were shooting lightning at each other.

As if her ahoge was sensing danger, sherry immediately went to y/n's side and hide behind him.

Sherry: *terrified* Shouldn't you try to stop them y/n?!

Y/n: *nervously sweating a bit* Sherry, there are some things that I'm not going near especially if it involves those two.

Iris: *sweatdrop* At least alexia has made another friend.

Y/n: *looking at the staring match between alexia and alpha, sweatdrop* 'I don't think it's normal for friends to try and rip each other apart.' *looks at sherry* How are you holding up sherry?

Sherry: *fake smile* There's nothing to worry about y/n, I'm fine.

Y/n could tell that smile was fake, and taking sherry by surprise, y/n brought the young genius into a gentle and strong hug.

Y/n: *comfort smile* You're a terrible liar, you know that. So just cry your damn heart out, brainy.

Sherry's body started to shake, her lips quivered, y/n felt her hands gripping his back, and just like that, the flood gate of tears opened.

Sherry: *crying* Everything. *sob* Everything was a lie! Fa-the vice principal, he *sob* didn't care about me! He didn't care about mother! He only cared about his status! *cries more*

Y/n: *pats her head comforting, comfort smile* Some people are just like that sherry, always will be. But there is something that pathetic bastard would never imagine.

Y/n then slightly separates himself and sherry to look at the young geniuses puffed up eyes.

Y/n: *grin* That his so-called daughter would befriend someone that would kick his ass in every direction.

Sherry's heart was pounding every minute along with blushing from seeing y/n's grin.

Sherry: *laughs a bit* Aren't you supposed to say something more light hearted than that, y/n.

Y/n: *wiping sherry's eyes dry, snicker a bit* You liked it.

Iris along with alexia and alpha who stopped their heated argument smiled at the heartfelt moment between y/n and sherry.

Alexia: *sees sherry's blush, expected smile* 'I already figured sherry was falling for y/n, but who knew it would be this hard.'

Iris: *loving smile* 'You truly have a way to mend a broken heart, don't you y/n.' Lutheran barnett was scum, but you truly are better than he could ever be, sherry.

Sherry: *appreciative smile* Thank you for your kindness princess iris.

Iris: *smile* Please sherry, you are good friends with y/n, you can call me iris.

Alexia: *looks at alpha* Now then little elf, how many?

Alpha: *fake confuse* I don't understand what you're asking princess alexia.

Alexia: *serious* Don't toy with me, how many in your organization have a thing for y/n?

This causes the other three occupants to look at the younger princess and blond elf. Especially a certain two somewhat leaning in and a certain leader of shadow garden to think of a strategic retreat.

Alpha: *serious* I won't divulge important information to a civilian. Surely you can understand princess alexia.

Alexia: *smirk* So I can assume a good number of shadow garden are in love with my future husband.

Iris: *sighs* Can't say that's too surprising. Y/n always seems to have a charm to attract any female, even when we were kids.

Y/n: Just to be clear, It just happens! I never asked for it to happen!

Alpha: *slightly impressed* 'Impressive. Almost impressive. It's no wonder why lord y/n was attracted to the young princess, if she was in shadow garden, she could surpass epsilon and beta.'

*A certain famous elf pianist and elf writer sneezed*

Alpha: *slight smirk* Who's to say if that's true princess alexia.

Alexia: *sighs* Be that it is made, iris and I know how much our lovable idiot can be hard to keep an eye on. *looks at iris* Even you have to agree big sis.

Iris: *sighs a bit* Yes...y/n does seem to have annoying habit of making our head pound irritably when he does something recklessly.

Y/n: *annoyed* You guys make it sound like I need a damn babysitter!

Alpha: *sighs* Lord y/n...can be challenging when he is out of my sight. I know he can handle himself, but it brings me on edge when does something reckless.

Y/n: *shocked* You too alpha?!

Iris: *chuckles* Well for now, let's call this for another day. I still have to help the knights to calm down any lingering fire and to help any of the injured students.

Alexia: *looks at alpha, "gentle" smile* Yes, let's have another friendly chat when we see each other again, little elf alpha.

Alpha: * "gentle" smile* I will await the next time we meet, little princess alexia midgard.

Even though the two held maiden-like smiles, anyone could tell these two were far from done in their "fight".

Alexia: Well, since we're done with this little chat. Iris and I have something to discuss with y/n. *looks at alpha, smirk* You wouldn't have an issue with that, right little elf alpha.

Y/n felt every part of his body sweat in fear seeing the dangerous glint in alpha's eyes especially the challenging glint in alexia's.

Alpha: *shakes head* No. I can discuss with lord y/n later. *puts a hand on sherry's shoulder* We best leave for now, don't you agree young barnett.

Sherry: *hesitant* B-but I wanted to talk to y/n a little bit.

Y/n: *small smile* We can talk later sherry promise.

With a reluctant nod, sherry followed alpha who shot one more glare at alexia, who did the same. After the door closed, it was now just y/n and his two princesses girlfriends.

Iris: *curious* So what is it you want to discuss with y/n, little sister?

Y/n: *confused* Yeah, I'm kinda confused on what you want to talk about, kitten.

Alexia turns to y/n, and immediately his senses told him to run as soon as he saw a very dark glint in alexia's red eyes.

Alexia: *dark smirk* I noticed something shine on  your little elf friend's finger. Her ring finger, do you have something to say, poochie?

Iris: *eyes voided of light* What is alexia talking about honey?

Sweating in fear seeing the rising fury from both of his girlfriends, y/n's mind could only think of one thing.

*Outside the nurses office*

Outside the nurse's office, alpha and sherry could hear desperate pleas and the sound of two angry princesses.

Alpha: 'Alexia midgard, you might put up a challenge against me. *small smirk* Will see how strong you can become.' *looks at sherry* What will you do now, ms.barnett?

Sherry: *head down* I was accepted to a special position, b-but I don't want to leave y/n. He's all that I have and *looks at alpha with a determined look*, I don't want this cult to hurt ever again!

Alpha could see in the young peach colored-haired girl's eyes that she was determined and could tell another certain feeling was mixed in there.

Alpha: *nods* Hmm, I see. *opens one of her palms and show a blue fire* Would you be interested in earning that strength to protect lord y/n, ms.barnett?

*Small timeskip*

The fire was still around several buildings, however iris and alpha who brought some shadow garden members to snuff out the flames.

Alpha: The last of the fires have been cleared, and all the injured students and staff were handled by our medics, they'll be fine princess iris.

Iris: *relieve smile* That's good to hear, and I won't tell a soul about y/n's secret.

Alpha: *nods* I know you won't, along with your little sister. I know lord cronan is in safe hands.

Iris: *smile* Of course. *sweatdrop smile* Though...could you and alexia not try to act like you're ready to kill one another.

Alpha merely gave iris a blank look until ordering all of shadow garden to return to base, and dissapereing in a purple flash.

Iris: *small sigh* Guess that's a maybe. *sees the knights handling the situation* 'Looks like things are fully under control now. *sigh* But I know they'll need me, I sometimes envy alexi's easy access to y/n. What's that saying I heard him say sometimes: "what a drag." '.

*At another part of midgar academy*

In another building of midgar academy, all the recovering students were placed there, and the student council president rose oriana rushed in to search for a certain individual.

Rose: *worried* 'Please be okay, my beloved. Please be okay.'

After going through multiple curtains, rose found y/n resting while wrapped in multiple bandages including his face with only one eye opened along with skel and po sleeping on one side, and alexia resting her head on the other.

Y/n: *annoyed* 'I know having these bandages will lower suspicion on me, but did alexia have to wrap practically everywhere and they're so damn itchy!'

Rose: *relieved smile* Y/n l/n. Thank heavens you're alive!

Rose immediately went to y/n's side and grabbed hold to one of y/n's bandaged hands.

Rose: *blushing smile with small tears in her eyes* Your unwavering effort and love produced a miracle. I acknowledge and accept all of your feelings for me! I know you're together with princess alexia, but I swear to help change her mind and allow me to be fully with you. *determined* You risked your very life for me, and now I'll give you my heart and soul!

Y/n: *shocked* 'I can understand being impressed in swordsmanship, but isn't this moving too FAST?!?!?!'

Alexia was already awake and opened one of her eyes to see and heard rose make her declaration.

Alexia: *slightly annoyed* 'I know I expected rose to fall for y/n, but I didn't expect it to be that fast. Guess, will see how true those feelings are, princess oriana.'

*Few days later*

*Y/n's pov*

The fire was finally put out, but the school was heavily damaged, so it was announced that summer vacation would start early. A few days later, sherry came by and told me that she was transferring somewhere and wanted to tell me something, so I stopped by mitsugoshi and got her something. We were both now in front of the damaged school, and a carriage was ready to take sherry who was wearing black clothing and had a suitcase.

*3rd pov*

Y/n: So you're really leaving?

Sherry: *nods with a sad smile* Yes...I'll be studying abroad. I'll be moving to laugus.

Y/n: *surprised* I've heard of the place. The city on the leading edge of science. Good stuff.

Sherry: *nods* Yes, but...I...I don't want-

Y/n had a gut feeling on knowing what sherry wanted to say, so he decided to put her mind at ease.

Y/n: I know sherry, but it's obvious there isn't much to make you stay here, but I wanted to give you two things so you can remember at least the good things.

Sherry: *confused* What is it y/n?

Out of his pocket, y/n pulled out a pendant that had a peach-colored stone in the middle, and placed it in sherry's hand

Sherry: *shocked* This is my mother's pendant. *looks at me* How did you-

Y/n: *small smile* That loser had it behind one of his bookcases, and I had a feeling this guy wasn't much of a jewelry collector.

Sherry: *holds the pendant to her chest, eyes become moist* Y/n.

Y/n then pulled out a gift box with a purple bow.

Y/n: *smile* And this is your second thing, saved up some zeni for this one. 'And doesn't need to know where I get the extra money for her special gift.'

Sherry: *eyes teared up* ...Y/n...I don't know what to say.

Y/n: *grin* Just make sure that any smartasses in laugus get a good beating from the number one genius in the world.

*a certain world renowned innovator and her cowgirl-hat wearing partner sneezes*

Can't take anymore of her burning feelings, sherry immediately went to y/n and kissed his cheek which caught y/n off guard, and after a brief second, sherry stepped back with her face burning and steam coming out of her head.

Y/n: *stunned* Kinda bold of you, huh brainy.

Sherry: *blushing nervous smile* I wanted to give you something to remember as well, y/n. S-sorry if it wasn't much.

Y/n: *small smile* Nah, it was a good gift sherry. You better get going, I have to meet up with alexia and iris at mitsugoshi.

Sherry: *nods* Alright. *blushes slightly* But y/n, when I return one day, c-can we have a date?

Y/n: *shocked* Um sherry, have you asked alexia?

Sherry: *smile* She actually gave me permission before I came here.

Y/n: ...-_-...Why am I not surprised. *small smile* Sure sherry, we can have a date.

Afterwards the two went on their separate ways, sherry boarded on her carriage and it started galloping away, while still thinking of the kiss she gave y/n, she opened the box she got from him, and inside the box was some kind of plushie that was reminiscent of a tiger.

Sherry: *blushing smile* 'You're so cute, just like y/n. *brings the plushie to her chest* Now I can't wait to see you again, y/n.'

Coachman: So what are you going to do aside from cramming books, little miss genius.

Sherry would see the coachman's body spark and change to reveal envy wearing her shadow garden outfit.

Sherry: *surprised* You're part of, shadow garden.

Envy: *smirk* That's right little peach, alpha gave me a message that we're getting a special recruit. I'm guessing you're the one.

Sherry's cloth started to morph and in seconds, her attire changed into a stealth-like suit that had the coloration of, shadow garden.

(Imagine a hoodie as well)

Sherry: *slightly timid nod* It is nice to meet you, miss envy. *determined* I don't know how much my assistance will help, shadow garden. But if it's for y/n, I will use everything I have for him! 'And no one will hurt him, ever!'

Envy: *amused smile* You'll be a riot. Did alpha said anything on who you'll be working with.

Sherry: She said that when I get situated in alexandria, I would work with two well known scientists. Do you know anything about the two, miss envy?

Envy: *slightly sweat nervously* Um...yeah a little. 'If little peach is working with those two. Then I sure as hell wish her luck, I might do some stupid stuff, but I ain't dealing with those two mad quacks!'

*Midgar kingdom*

*Y/n's pov*

I caught up with alexia and iris, the three of us then headed off to mitsugoshi.

Y/n: ...-_-...So when were you going to mention that you gave sherry permission, kitten.

Alexia: *smiles without looking at me* I figured that sherry's feelings for you were pretty strong and while I don't plan to share you with every female you keep attracting-

Y/n: *annoyed* BY ACCIDENT!!!!

Alexia: *smiles* I would allow ones that my sister and I can trust. And sherry happens to be one of those trusted individuals.

Y/n: *sighs* 'You're one sneaky little cat, aren't you alexia.'

Iris: *smile* I'm just glad things are settling down a bit, we have to get you ready to see the goddess trial, alexia.

The goddess trial in the "sacred land" lindwurm. I got a message from alpha telling me about it. Once a year, this gate or whatever opens and any fighter participating gets a chance to fight a warrior from the past. I have a sneaky feeling the cult has something to hide in this "holy" land.

Alexia: *sighs a bit* I haven't forgotten something like that iris. *closed eyes smile* Though I forgot to mention that y/n will be coming with me to lindwurm.

Y/n:

Iris: *strained smile* Is that so dear little sister? Pray tell, how did that happen?

Alexia: *calm smile* I came across a fellow classmate that didn't seem all too interested in his special invitation, so I persuaded them to hand over their invitation to the holy land. They unfortunately only had one, so who better to have it is our adorable poochie.

Iris: *strained smile* And when were you going to tell me this little information dear sister?

Alexia: *calm smile* I would've mentioned this to you after we got to lindwurm and made sure to send you a letter. Didn't want to disturb you with your work and rebuilding the academy dear older sister.

Iris: *twitching eyebrow and smile, vein throbbing* Thank you for your dear kindness, my sweet sister alexia.

Y/n: *ignoring the dangerous air between alexia and iris, sweatdrop* 'Well...at least this makes it easier to get to lindwurm without having to do too much effort. *sighs* I just hope I don't attract any attention.'

*At mitsugoshi*

*3rd pov*

At mitsugoshi's special suit, alpha and gamma were in a discussion on the aftermath of the cult of diabolos's attempted coup in the academy along with having several remnants of the eye of avarice and its control unit.

Alpha: *reading a wanted poster, humorous smile* Cronan, sworn enemy to the people. Wanted for mass murder, kidnapping, arson, and armed robbery. The cult truly don't have any tact, much less confidence do they.

Gamma: *smile* With princess iris and alexia's testimony along with several knights and civilians witnessing us, this little attempt from the cult will never come to be as intended. Though I highly doubt lord cronan would have cared even if the kingdom pinned him as a criminal.

Alpha: *burns the wanted poster* Y/n once told me of heroes of old that weren't typical heroes you would read in fairytales, but ones who do actions that were questioned by others, but saved many lives. These heroes were called antiheroes. Particularly he enjoyed an antihero who wore red and black.

*Somewhere in the multiverse, a certain merc with a mouth sneezed*

Gamma: *loving smile* Truly there's no end to lord cronan's wisdom.

Alpha: *nods* Indeed.

The two heard a knock at the door, and saw nu opening the door and entered.

Nu: *bows slightly* Apologies lady alpha, but as you requested, four of the available seven shades have come and are ready to meet with you.

Alpha: *soft small smile* Thank you nu. *determined* 'No matter what path you go y/n, the shades and I, especially I will always follow wherever you go and no matter what anyone tries, I'll never allow any harm to come to you.'

Summer vacation has started for y/n, and now he's going to the holy land of lindwurm. What truths will he uncover from this "sacred" land? What will the cult's next move be? And will y/n survive the war between the two women who wish to claim the title of first wife. Stay tuned to find out.
