It was getting close to sundown, and outside the barrier covered school, iris along with alexia, her soldiers and shadow garden were getting ready for their attack. Alpha had just finished talking to one of her subordinates, along with having a small bat on her right shoulder.

Alpha: *looks at iris* Thanks to the information from two of ours, my subordinates have surrounded the school to make sure none of our enemies escape, princess iris. Along with another set of informants in the inside having a signal ready to start.

Iris: *nods while sighing in relief* That's good. Any help to make this situation easier the better. What do you want my men and I to do?

Alpha: Your priority will be to have them ready to get the students and staff safely out and healed by our medical team.

Iris: *nod* I understand. I'll make sure my men will be ready for any students to be found.

While iris and alpha were still discussing strategies, alexia kept looking at the barrier covered school and her mind kept focusing on y/n's safe return.

Alexia: *worried* 'You better come back in one piece, you lovable idiot.'

???: *cheerful* Excuse me nyah! I see your arm is injured nyah, can I take a look at it nyah!

Alexia turned to see a shadow garden member who was a cat demi-human. The demi-human was female with wavy white hair along with having yellow cat ears and a white tail. Her eyes were ruby-red, the female demi-human was wearing the shadow garden uniform, but the uniform had her tail sticking out, along with it showing the female's legs and knees that had joints like an insect, and her hands were slightly larger than human hands.

Alexia: *surprised a bit* Who are you?

Neferpitou: *eyes and ears straightened in realization* Whoops! I almost forgot to introduce myself nyah! *does a soldier pose* My name is neferpitou, nyah! I'm one of the lead members of shadow garden's medical team, nyah! Since your sister and you are working together with lord cronan, you have my permission to call me nefer, nyah!

Alexia: *sweatdrop* 'She really likes saying nyah, doesn't she.' *looks at her injured arm, and then looks at neferpitou and nods* Alright nefer, do your work.

Neferpitou: *cheerful* You won't be disappointed alexia! *gently takes alexia's injured arm*

While looking over alexia's injured arm, neferpitou started applying her healing magic that took the color of a soft violet.

Alexia: *surprise/shock* 'This healing magic is the same one cronan used on me. It feels just as warm as he used it, *confused* but why does it feel familiar?'

Neferpitou: *cheerful* Your arm is now fully healed alexia, nyah!

Alexia: *gets out of thought and sees her injured arm fully healed, in awe* Wow. *looks at neferpitou, small smile* Thanks nefer. That healing magic is some strong stuff. I've never heard of any of knights nor magicians utilizing magic like that.

Neferpitou: *puffs her chest in pride* You should thank lord cronan, nyah! He was the one to discover and harness healing magic first, nyah! Because of him, many of, shadow garden especially the medical team, can use healing magic, nyah!

Alexia: *shocked* 'Just how many skills does cronan possess?!'

Shadow garden medical member: *yells from medical camp* Doctor nefer!

Neferpitou: *cheerful* Looks like I'm needed, nyah! But keep this in mind princess, this is something lord cronan told us. *tries to act like cronan* Magic is just like a simple sword, just find your own style and perfect it. *cheerful* Stay safe alexia, and let's talk again another time, nyah! *starts walking to medical camp*

Alexia: No good just thinking. *sighs a bit* Guess I'll wait by iris, *looks at school one more time, worried* 'Stay safe y/n.' *walks to where iris is*

While alexia walked to where iris was at, the elder midgar princess saw the whole interaction and saw the healing magic at work, and made sure to ask cronan another time about this magic.

*Assistant principal's office*

*night time*

*1st pov*

While sherry was still working on the control unit, I kept looking outside the window to see that night has rolled in.

Y/n: *sees the night sky* 'This seige will end soon. Knowing my wives, they have everything set up. Only thing left is to unmasked whoever caused this damn mess in the first place, *slightly looks at sherry who was still working, worried* I just hope it's not who I think it is.'

Sherry: *smile* Y/n, I'm close to finishing the device, *points to a tuning fork like tool* can you hand me that final tool over there?

Y/n: *smile* Sure sherry.

I walked over to where sherry was and saw the working  table covered with two green mats that had magic circuits drawn on them with the control unit at the center , and I saw the tool sherry needed and passed it to her.

Sherry: *smile* Thank you y/n. *starts to place magic stones on certain spots*

After placing some what looks like magic stones, sherry used her tuning fork to tap the main magic stone, which then started producing yellow electricity that followed the magic circuits sherry drew, and then went to the control unit's red gem until it glowed red then yellow and then stopped glowing.

Sherry: *proud smile* We actually did it! Oh my god, we really did it!

Y/n: *small smile* It was only thanks to you sherry, but we aren't out of the woods yet.

Sherry: *smile* You're right, but now I can control the eye of avarice from shutting off our magic.

Y/n: *curious* You said there were hidden tunnels in the school, do you know where they are located at sherry?

Sherry: *nods* I actually do! *gets up and walks to the bookshelves, curious* According to what my father told me, the secret passage is *pressed a book like a button* here.

I started to hear gears turning, and the bookshelves started to open up and revealed the secret passage.

Y/n: *impressed a bit* Woah.

Sherry: *determined smile* Now I can finally go, and help my father!

Y/n: *eyes narrowed* 'A secret passage just coincidentally placed in the assistant principal's office. *annoyed* Why did my guts have to be damn right about this *looks at sherry with a pain look* and why did this have to happen to someone innocent as her.' *gets out of thought and notice sherry taking a deep breath* You okay, sherry?

Sherry: *looks at me while nodding, small smile* I'm fine y/n. It's just...this brings back bad memories of when I was young and what happened to my mother.

Y/n: *curious* Your mother? What was she like?

Sherry: *reminiscent smile* She was so kind. She was also one of the greatest minds in generation.

Y/n: I see. *teasing smirk* That also means that's where you got your big beautiful smarts and your adorable air headedness from.

Sherry: *ahoge twitches while pouting angrily* Don't tease me, like that y/n! *calms down, sad smile* A lot of people in the academic world were jealous of her, but she only ever wanted to use her genius to help people, so she constantly used her genius to discover ancient artifacts and decipher many old languages. Then one day she found a rare artifact.

Y/n: Let me guess. The eye of avarice.

Sherry: *nods* Yes. I was young at the time, but I spent much time with her working on it, and I believe that she didn't want anyone to use it.

Y/n: *smile* Knowing how you have a kind heart and care about others' sherry, I can imagine your mother coming to that conclusion.

Sherry: *blushes a bit, but shakes it off a bit* After learning about how dangerous the artifact was, my mother asked help from her close friend, my father.

Y/n: *eyes slightly narrowed* Lutheran barnett.

Sherry: *nods* Yes. He helped my mother with much of her research, so she confided with him about the eye. She was prepared to give the artifact to the proper authority, *starts to shake a bit* but...

Y/n: *worried* You don't have to finish sherry.

Sherry: No. *collects herself* You are my friend y/n and you helped me this far, so you should know. I was nine when it happened. It was night, but I didn't feel the need to sleep, so I decided to visit my mother who usually worked in her studies. The doors had a slight opening, I was about to open them until I saw my mother get attacked. *hands slightly shiver* I only remember seeing so much blood. My mother's body laying on the floor...lifeless.

Y/n: *gives a comfort hand on sherry's shoulder, frown* I'm so sorry that happened to you sherry.

Sherry: *holds my hand, grateful smile* Thank you y/n. I don't know who killed her, but after my mother's passing, mr.barnett took me in and raised me like his own flesh and blood, and I came to see him as my father. He even supported the eye's research my mother left behind. *looks at control unit, determined* Now it's my turn to save, father. *puts control unit away in her uniform*

Y/n: *takes hand of sherry's shoulder* Guess there's only one thing to do. *smile* Finish what your mother started.

Sherry: *nods with a smile* You're right y/n. To be honest, I never would've come this far without you. I know I've said it, but thank you for everything y/n.

Y/n: *chuckles a bit, smile* You don't have to thank me sherry, I was just a helpful assistant. If anything, you deserve the credit. *hands the lantern to sherry*

Sherry: *grabs the lantern, but confused* You're not coming, y/n?

Y/n: *relaxed smile* Nah. This is more your thing. While you sneak in close enough to the eye in the auditorium, I'll divert any attention from our kidnappers away from you.

Sherry: *worried* But y/n-

Y/n: *pats sherry head causing her to blush, confident smile* I know what you're going to say sherry, but don't worry, I'll be fine. Remember, I did beat rose oriana after all. Now go save everyone and stop this school from becoming a giant hole.

Sherry: *removes my hand from her head, and sighs* Alright, I see I can't change your mind y/n. *suddenly moves close to me while getting on her tippy toes and kisses my cheek*

Y/n: *surprised* Sherry.

Sherry: *moves away, but blushes, concern* Promise me that you'll come back alive, and...*blushes harder with steam coming out of her head* when this is over, can we hang out more? I know alexia won't have an issue.

Y/n: *still surprised, but nods* Sure sherry. We can do whatever you want.

Sherry: *bright smile* Thank you y/n! Stay safe, and I'll see you soon. *starts to walk down the passage*

After sherry left, I closed the entrance behind her.

Y/n: 'Rubs his kissed cheek a bit, chuckles* You are a very bold one, sherry barnett. *turns around to look at window that showed the auditorium* Now for my turn. *eyes glow a blackish color for a bit and turns back to normal, smile* You're always in tune with me, my dear alpha. *notices something at the bookshelf near the entrance* What's this?

I then went to the bookshelf near the door and picked one of the books from it and after reading it a bit, my blood started to boil.

Y/n: *magic aura starts to rise while eyes glow in rage* You pathetic bastard.

*Underground tunnels*

*3rd pov*

While sherry was still walking through the tunnels, her mind was somewhere else.

Sherry: *blushing while touching her lips, smiling* 'That was the second kiss I gave to y/n. I wonder what his lips would taste like? *realizes and immediately shakes off thought* No! Bad sherry! Focus on saving the school and then plan your hangout with y/n.'

While continuing her walking , the young pink haired genius's mind kept going to more certain rouchy thoughts that involved a certain h/c teen.

*Outside the academy*

Outside the academy, iris had her mens be ready to help when the students got out, while alpha had just finished her telepathic talk with y/n.

Alpha: *smiles while blushing* 'Your words really know how to get to my heart beloved.'

Iris: *curious* Everything okay, alpha?

Alpha: *nods, small smile* Yes princess iris. I was just getting confirmation that everything is in place, and all we need is the signal to start.

Iris: *relief smile* 'Making a deal with cronan is probably the greatest thing I've ever done.'  Good to hear, I just finished having my men be ready for their part. *looks at the night sky* No one except our enemies will get harmed.

Alpha: *determined* Will make sure of it, princess.

???: What do you want us to do lady alpha?

??? 2: I hope it's something related to crushing some cults head in, especially whoever gets in lord cronan's way!

The two then turned to see two shadow garden members that were both female beastmen. One is a tall shark female beastman with a curvaceous and well-endowed figure. She also had olive skin, aqua green eyes with thick eyelashes, and short messy golden blond hair with three braided locks. The shark beastman's uniform was in the form of a jacket and a long battle skirt that reached down to her footwear. The jacket has a high collar, which covers the lower part of the beastman's face downward, while showing a good portion of her slightly muscled torso. The female's slime jacket also has two gold air filters on both sides of the high collar, along with having long sleeves enveloping the female's arms with the addition of gloves resembling a shark's teeth. The female also had a shark's fin on her back.

The other female is a rhino beastman who was tall, almost reaching the shark beastman's height. The rhino beastman has chocolate brown skin, long black hair tied with a holder in the form of twin horns. She also had bright yellow eyes with thick eyebrows. The beastman also has a very strong curvaceous figure that had muscles on it with an equally very large bust size. Her uniform took the form of a unique battle uniform that mainly covered most of her body while having holes showing some skin on her arms, backside of her legs, and showing a bit on her chest. The arms and legs portion showed to have armor-like looks resembling a rhino's thick hide along with some gold rings attached. The female beastman also has a rhino-like horn on the middle of her forehead.

Alpha: *small smile* It's good to see you both came, tier, mirabelle. *serious* You two will follow gamma's assault on the auditorium, and to cover any surprise attack the cult will attempt with. Along with capturing any of them if they hold any valuable information.

Tier: *does a butler bow* It shall be done, lady alpha. *immediately teleport to gamma's location*

Mirabelle: *pouts slightly* Damn. I was looking forward to seeing lord cronan again, *slight sultry smirk* but doing this will definitely get ahead and get me in cronan's special side. Especially so I can rub it into tier's covered face, and show off to lady ghislaine! *immediately teleport to gamma's location*

Iris: *sweatdrop* Are all members this enthusiastic, miss alpha.

Alpha: *pinches nose in annoyance* Not all, but we do have some members that need to be reigned in sometimes. 'My experience with delta and zeta are a good reminder.'

*A certain female wolf beastman sneezes again while somewhere else, a certain blonde female cat beastman sneezes as well*

*Auditorium*

While shadow garden and the knights were ready, tensions in the auditorium were growing more serious, and sir gaunt grew more impatient.

Sir gaunt: *sees the upper window and see that it is night, impatient* Where is he? *coughs, and looks at his subordinates* What is taking rex so long?

Cloak: Sir. We haven't seen him or any of his guards.

Sir gaunt: *growls in anger* 'I knew that fool's pride would be his end to that damn cronan.'

While the students who were near rose were trying to think of a plan, skel and po had their hands full on keeping claire's anger in check.

Skel: *worried, whisper* Come on claire. You have to be damn crazy!

Po: *worried, whisper* Yeah, I'm with skel, on this one. Trying to fight that armored guy is out of the question!

Claire: *glares at the perverted duo* You two are not going to stop me. If I have the chance, I'm going to do it. That armored bastard is going to regret trying to hurt y/n in this damn siege!

Skel: *terrified* 'That's going to be the least of our problems!'

Po: *terrified* 'Especially if y/n finds out that his childhood friend got out of our watch! He'll have our heads as trophies!'

*BANG!!*  *BANG!!*

The three stiffened when they heard gunshots and were able to see a student get injured.

Cloak 2: *smirks* Bullseye! Only took two bullets.

Cloak 1: *smirks* They're pathetic! Letting these commoner toys take them out. They're a disgrace to the name of dark knights.

Rose was currently trying to keep the injured student from bleeding more.

Claire: *glares at cloaked individuals* 'Disgusting bastards.' *notices something out from a nearby window, confused* 'What was that?'

*Auditorium's roof*

On top of the auditorium's roof , many members of shadow garden are ready in position for their attack, with gamma, tier, and mirabelle leading.

Gamma: *serious* Savages.

Mirabelle: *glares* They just injured a hostage. Why don't we just bust their heads in already!

Tier: *stern stare* We must wait for the signal, mira. Especially that the force field would drain most of our magic and leave us with our physical abilities while our enemies can use their magic. Or do you not want to earn a spot in the list like the honorable shades and *smug look through her eyes* a certain few of our members.

Mirabelle: *annoyed* I hate it when you're right, tier. But I'll get on that list!

Gamma: *smile* Thank you for reigning in mirabelle, tier.

Tier: *bows slightly* Think nothing of it lady gamma. I would do anything for lord cronan and *blushes slightly behind her mouth cover* to be by his side.

Gamma: *small smile* 'I can see why alpha took a liking to tier. *looks at mirabelle, sweatdrop* I also see why ghislaine took a liking to her along with envy.' *sees y/n getting to the auditorium, knowing smile* Be ready everyone, this siege will be coming to an end soon enough.

*Auditorium*

*BANG!!*

Back in the auditorium, another shot was fired from one of the cloaked individuals, and injured another student.

Random student: *in pain* AGHK!!!!

Cloak 2: *smirks* Bullseye number two! Man these so-called dark knights are so weak!

A nearby student tended to the injured student, while rose was still tending to the current injured student.

Rose: *glares, serious* 'These bastards truly have no sense of honor. *grits teeth in frustration* But our magic is still cut off, what are we supposed to do!'

While all the students were focused on protecting each other in any way,  the same cloaked individual aimed their gun at claire.

Cloaked individual 2: *aims gun at claire, smirk* Bullseye number th-

*SHATTER!!*

Before the cloaked men could finish, the window behind the two shattered, and the two cloaked men immediately found themselves mercilessly killed by two swords through their chests.

Every student was stunned to see who took down two of their kidnappers was y/n l/n himself.

Y/n: *serious smirk* Glad I'm not late for this party. *does a two sword flip* Ready for a bad time gentlemens?

Skel and po: *extremely relieved with starry eyes* 'BRO!!!'

Claire: *relieve smile* 'Even though I hate anyone who tries to hurt you, I knew you would never go down so easily y/n.'

Rose: *relief blushing smile* 'Thank goodness. You're still alive my hero.'

Cloaked individual: *angry* GET THAT BASTARD!!!

Several of the kidnappers branded themselves with their swords and rushed at y/n, however as if predicting their movements, y/n immediately dodged the kidnappers' attempted attacks, and started hacking and slashing them to death with either losing their heads or limbs.

The students were all stunned by just how many of their kidnappers y/n was, killing and without breaking a single sweat.

Random student: *in awe* Just who is that guy?

Skel and po: *puffs their chest in pride* That's our bro!

After taking out the last of the incoming kidnappers, y/n took a glance at sir gaunt and in a blur of speed, y/n killed two of sir gaunt's men and was now standing in front of him.

Sir gaunt: *intrigued* 'Interesting.'

Y/n: Try and eat this, asshole! *attempts a quick sword strike*

Unfortunately, sir gaunt evaded y/n's attack, and with his left arm, he grabbed y/n's arm which caused him to drop his two swords and then slammed his face to the stage floor. Which caused the students to become shocked.

Y/n: *coughs blood* GHACK!!!!!

Claire and rose: *worry* Y/N!!!!!

Rose could only watch with a worry ridden face, while claire had to be held by skel and po.

Sir gaunt: *lifts y/n up by his collar, amused tone* I'll admit, boy. You showed some skills, but they fall flat to someone like me.

Y/n: *coughs blood, glare* Big talk from a coward.

Sir gaunt: A coward, you say?

Y/n: *taunting smirk* Yeah. You're only acting high and mighty because an artifact is absorbing mine and every other student in this school, except you and your lackeys. *shiteating smirk* I wonder, are you compensating for some-*immediately gets punched by gaunt's magic infused fist and coughs more blood* GAHCK!!!!!

Sir gaunt: I could kill you this easily boy, *annoyed tone* but unfortunately my superiors have different plans for you. So I suggest you have a different tune and stay put with the rest of your weak classmates.

Sir gaunt then threw y/n into the crowd of students and he was immediately being checked by clair along with skel and po.

Po: *worried* Y/n, are you still with us?

Y/n: *glares at sir gaunt* Armored dickless asshole. *coughs blood* 'Damn. That eye is really a pain in my ass! Most of my magic is blocked and I can't heal properly without it. Just fantastic!'

Skel: *sweatdrop* Yeah he, still with us.

Y/n: *looks at skel and po, slightly bloody smile* Glad you two knuckleheads are alive. *looks at worried stricken claire, slightly bloody comfort smile* Hey claire, sorry for worrying ya.

Claire: *relief smile* I'm just glad you're alright y/n.

While claire, skel, and po were tending to y/n, the three didn't notice rose looking at y/n with a relieved look on her face.

Sir gaunt: *looks at a tending y/n* 'I can see why the cult would want this boy. Being able to kill without your magic is quite a rarity to see. *felt someone here and looks at a certain direction, while smirking behind helmet* Ah, you've finally arrived.'

While all of this happened, sherry finally made it to the auditorium.

*Sherry's pov*

I finally made it to the auditorium, and while I crawled, I took a peak to see what was going on, and it was horrible! So many classmates were injured, and y/n was injured too!

Sherry: *sees y/n injured, extremely worried/concern* 'Y/n. *shakes head a bit, and becomes determined* No! Get a hold of yourself sherry! Y/n gave you this opportunity, don't mess it up! *looks from her view and sees sir gaunt holding the eye of avarice* There it is!'

After spotting the eye, I got back down and pulled out the control unit and activated it, and it started to glow.

Sherry: *pops from her cover, serious* Don't worry father. *throws control unit* I'm coming!

*3rd pov*

After sherry throws the control unit, it produces a bright yellow light, and catches everyone's attention.

Rose: *confused* What is that light?

While sir gaunt kept the eye out, the artifact sparks a bit and the anti-magic barrier that kept the school separated and the students powerless was finally shut down.

Skel: *extremely confused* What just happened?

Y/n: *raises his arm and sees his magic aura surrounding it along with feeling it coming back to him, smirks while clenching his hand* 'You are one hell of a genius sherry.'

*somewhere in a certain famous company, a sleepy purple haired elf sneezed*

While everyone was confused on what was going on, with a swift movement of his right hand, y/n summoned a orb of purple light and made it quickly go through the walls close to him and flies high up to the sky.

*Outside the school*

*Iris pov*

While everyone and I waited for something to happen, the barrier started to shake a bit and then suddenly it shuts down along with a sudden flash of purple light appearing in the sky.

Iris: *shielding her eyes a bit, confused* What is that?

Alpha: *serious* The barrier is down princess. *looks at iris, serious* You know what to do.

Iris: *realizes and then becomes serious, and nods* Right. *looks to her men while drawing her sword* LISTEN UP MEN!!! *all knights reacted* THE BARRIER IS DOWN!!! ALL OF YOU HAVE YOUR ORDER, MAKE SURE THE STUDENTS GET OUT THERE, SHADOW GARDEN WILL DEAL WITH THE ENEMY!!! NOW CHARGE!!!!

*3rd pov*

With a war cry, all of Iris' men charged in along with iris and alexia joining the fray.

*Auditorium*

In the midst of the still ongoing confusion, y/n immediately gets back up and charges quickly at one of the nearby kidnappers and delivers a strong roundhouse kick, killing them instantly while grabbing their sword.

Y/n: *stretches a bit* Now then, where was I? *smirks* Oh yeah. *gets into a stance, serious* ROUND TWO, ASSHOLES!!!

Y/n started to attack the kidnappers, seeing this rose quickly followed his lead, and quickly kills one of the kidnappers as well and grabbed their sword.

Rose: *releases a strong magic aura, serious* OUR MAGIC IS UNSEALED!!! *points sword* NOW IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK!!!

Every student started to be filled with courage and charge at the kidnappers and during the ensuing fight back from the students, y/n saw one of the kidnappers have the sword he made for claire and immediately charged at them.

Random cloak: *shocked to see y/n coming* What the?! *pulls out claire's sword and tries to defend*

Y/n: *serious* That doesn't belong to you.

Without much of a sweat, y/n chopped off the kidnappers arms off and then with swift movement, he effectively chopped the kidnapper's head off. Along with grabbing claire's sword.

Y/n: *sees claire fighting in the distance* CLAIRE!!! *gets her attention* CATCH!!! *throws her sword*

Claire immediately recognized her sword and catches and just like her childhood friend, she swiftly started to cut up many of the kidnappers.

Claire: *while slicing and dicing many kidnappers* 'I definitely will tell y/n my feelings. *still fighting* And none of these bastards are going to stop me!'

Skel: *stabs a kidnapper in the heart* Glad our magic is back, *dodges an incoming attack and slice another kidnapper* but I hope y/n doesn't ask us to do something troubling.

Po: *kicks one of the kidnappers in the groin* I highly doubt it. *dodges an attack* It's not like it'll cause our life to get more in danger.

Y/n: *still killing many kidnappers* SKEL, PO YOU BETTER BACK UP CLAIRE FOR ANY SURPRISE ATTACK!!!

Po: *kills another kidnapper* Oh come on! I know we're bros, but come on!

Skel: *kills another kidnapper* ...-_-...You just had to jinx us, idiot.

Po: *kills another kidnapper* You're an idiot too, asshole!

While the fighting continued, some of the kidnappers started to get nervous.

Random cloak: *backs away a bit, nervous* How is this happening?

Sir gaunt: *steps forward* What are you idiots waiting for? *gets the cloaks attention* Kill them.

Random cloaks: *nods* YES SIR!!!

More of the kidnappers started to pour in and attacked as well and while it happened sir gaunt saw the control unit on the floor and walked to it. Envy, ghislaine, nu, and gasper saw gaunt walking towards it.

Eric (Envy): *crushing some of the kidnappers head* Shouldn't we grab that armored bastard?

Tala (Ghislaine): *slices many of the kidnappers heads off, serious* While I would enjoy seeing the life from our enemy drain from them. The swordsman and swordswoman then charge at their intended target sir gaunt; however, more of the cloaked kidnappers started to appear and blocked the two's path.

Y/n: *blocking some attacks, annoyed* These bastards won't let up. *feels his magic still charging* Looks like our magic is still replenishing.

Rose: *serious* We can't give up now y/n. We must keep charging forward!

While fighting her own set of enemies, rose took a glance at y/n who was mowing down his enemies.

With renewed determination, rose started striking down more of the kidnappers, but suddenly after taking down another kidnapper, rose suddenly froze in place.

A brief flashback shows an image from years ago showing a certain individual clad in dark clothing and having a helmet on. While going through memory lane a bit, several kidnappers surrounded rose and were ready to aim their sword down at her, which y/n took notice

Suddenly the glass roof of the auditorium broke into many pieces, and a small miniature dark slime tornado appeared and landed in front of rose while taking out the surrounding kidnappers, while also gaining everyone's attention.

The tornado died down and revealed cronan himself.

Cronan: *looks at rose* You and the students have done well, but now let my shadows and I deal with these rats.

Sir gaunt: *stares at cronan* 'Cronan.'

Suddenly two more kidnappers were immediately killed and everyone turned to see many shadow garden standing on the auditorium's seat balcony, with tier and maribelle leading.

Cronan: *summons a slime sword* Now then my shadows. *points to the kidnappers, serious tone* Send these vermin to the pits of hell.

With that command, every shadow garden member along with cronan began their assault on the hooded kidnappers, along with gaunt ordering more of his men to attack as well.

Mirabelle: *slaughtering many kidnappers, bloodlust smile* RIP AND TEAR THESE MAGGOTS APART GIRLS!!!!

Tier: *killing another kidnapper without looking at mirabelle's "work" while sighing* Must you always act like a brute mira. *looks at some of shadow garden members, stern* Help out any of the injured students and get them to safety.

Shadow garden members: Yes madam tier!

The cloaked kidnappers didn't stand a chance as one by one they fell by a shadow garden member's slime sword or especially by mirabelle. Some of the kidnappers on the upper floor tried to use their muskets,but they were immediately taken down by shadow garden members that used their slime suits to make slime bullets to take the kidnappers down.

The students were in awe by how many kidnappers were falling to, shadow garden.

Rose: *in awe* Incredible.

Nu (in shadow garden uniform): Excuse me. But we're here to help you and any of the injured

Rose along with the other students turn to see nu who was in her shadow garden uniform leading a small group of shadow garden members. Rose and the students immediately became wary and hesitant to believe nu.

Nu: *sees rose's hesitation, comfort smile* I promise, no harm will fall onto any of you. You have my word.

Y/n: *looks at everyone* I know we just got attacked by people in black cloaks, but they're the same ones that committed those murders and acted as part of, shadow garden. *points to nu* That's the real shadow garden, so let's get those wounded out of here! *helps pick up a wounded student*

Rose: *serious* Y/n's right. *looks at the students* Help any of the wounded and let's get out of here!

Just then the auditorium doors immediately opened and revealed iris, alexia and the officer knights arrived and saw the ongoing fight.

Iris: *looks at her men with a side look, serious* You know your priorities men, now get to it!

Knowing their orders, the officers went to work on helping the wounded, and getting them through the auditorium entrance. While it happened, both the midgard princesses spotted y/n.

Alexia and iris: *relief smile and tears* Y/N!!!

Y/n took notice of the midgard sisters as the two ran towards him and after passing the wounded student to a shadow garden member, he had enough time to catch the midgard sisters in a tight but love-filled hug.

Alexia: *tears dropping while having face close to y/n's body* Idiot! Idiot! You stupid idiot! You made us completely worried about YOU!!!

While that tender moment happened, with the control unit in hand, sir gaunt made his escape by walking while the fight raged on.

Sherry: *looks at the fight below, worried* Where is father? He isn't anywhere. 'Where are you father?'

Suddenly I heard gas and turned to see the lamps' gas pipes started leaking.

Seeing the gas leak, sherry's eyes widened in realization and got out through a nearby escape hole before fire started forming.

And just like that fire started spreading around and everyone started getting surrounded by the increasing flames. Cronan took notice of the fire getting closer.

Cronan: *angry* 'Those cult bastards really like to play hard ball don't they.' *yells* TIER!!!

As if one mind and body, with a swift of a wrist, frost formed a bit beneath tier's feets and immediately a wall of ice and water formed to separate the students from the blazing inferno.

Tier: This will keep the flames at bay my lord, *narrows her eyes seeing the wall crack a bit* but I don't know how long it'll last.

Cronan: *looks at tier* This will be enough, tier. *looks at all the shadow garden members, serious tone* Everyone fall back to the outside and get the students and wounded to safety. *looks to iris* I leave the rest to you princess iris, I'll be back soon.

Iris: *nods* I understand. Be safe cronan. *looks at everyone, serious* You heard him, get moving everyone!

With that command, everyone escaped the burning auditorium while cronan had his masked covered eyes on the direction where sir gaunt went and then vanished.

While I saw the fire spreading, I was relieved at the same time everyone got out safely.

Gamma: *eyes narrowed seeing the burning bodies of cult members* The cult holds nothing back even against their own.

I turned to see, and saw the fire spreading more.

Back on the ground all the wounded and non-wounded students were being tended by shadow garden's medical team, especially by two of their core members.

The shadow garden member that was healing claire was the other core member along with neferpitou. Just like all the other members, the other core member was female. The two immediately start to fight, with each strike, block, and counter strike, neither let an inch, and the fire starts to spread around the room and starts burning everything. Back with the two swordsmen, after countless strikes and blocks, they ended up in a blade lock.

Y/n then pushes lutheran back and went on the offensive, while the assistant principal kept up a strong defense though weakening through y/n's strikes; however, the fire rises up enough to burn y/n's right arm.

The resulting kick from lutheran caused y/n to get his back hit against the array of picture frames and a particular one fell on his lap and while still in pain, y/n saw what the picture was, and with quick efficiency, he hid it in his uniform.

Lutheran: *points sword at y/n, smirk* Any last word boy?

Lutheran immediately found himself kicked away from cronan with enough force to crash and destroy through his desk.

Sherry immediately got out of her hiding spot and went to y/n's side and tended to his wounded shoulder.

With his open hand, cronan opens a portal that shows the outside yard where everyone is at.

With the help of sherry, y/n slightly walked up to cronan, and whispered something to him, afterward the two left through the portal and it closed up immediately. Lutheran could've sworn that he briefly saw two red glowing eyes appearing behind cronan's mask. Cronan then kicks lutheran back a bit.

Cronan: *serious tone* Now, I think it's time to finish this. *twirls slime sword a bit*

Lutheran: *dark smirk* I agree. Like you, I am a man who has lived by the sword. I can tell a lot when I come face to face with an opponent. Including the fact that I'm at a disadvantage with you. *pulls out something from his pocket, serious* My apologies, but I'm not wasting any time until I pull out all the stops! *reveals the eye of avarice on top of the control unit* It is when you combine the eye of avarice with its control unit, that it demonstrates its true value, let me show you!

Suddenly the two artifacts released a red glow and then started to combine to form a new artifact and then release four thorny like vines made of demonic energy. The vines along with the artifact then went and fused with lutheran who began to be covered in demonic energy.

Lutheran: *grunts in pain while eyes glow red* Now it's time for my long awaited rebirth! *demonic energy rises and starts to transform*

Cronan: 'This is similar to the red pill grease and, that pathetic knight use, but I can sense that it's more natural than those pills, and more potent.'

The demonic aura starts to die down, and cronan could tell lutheran magic has increased.

Lutheran: *mad smile* It's glorious, isn't it! Truly magnificent! My strength is returning! My malady is being cured! Can you feel it, cronan? Can you feel the magical energy running wild?! The power beyond human capability and comprehension!

After the aura died down, cronan fully saw that lutheran's form changed. Lutheran's now extremely bony chest was opened to see, and cronan can fully see the artifact fused onto lutheran's chest along with lutheran's face becoming slightly stretched and reverted slightly back into a younger youth in a way along with one of his eye being extremely narrow and the other being more wider.

Cronan: *not impressed tone* That new form truly shows your disgusting inside, you pathetic freak.

Lutheran: *mad smirk* Mock all you want, cronan. *draws out sword and gets into a stance* Be glad you'll be my first experiment!

In inhuman speed, lutheran charged at cronan.

*Outside the burning school*

Outside the still burning school, the medical group of shadow garden and the royal officers were still attending to the injured students, at the same time some shadow garden members along with tier leading began putting out the fire with some strong water based magic.

Alexia: *helping a student, worried in thought* 'You better come back alive, y/n.'

Royal officer: *serious* Princess iris, most of the students are healed and, shadow garden is currently dealing with fire, will soon have control of the area.

Iris: *nods* Good, keep the students safe and keep me updated.

Royal officer: *salute* Yes ma'am! *walks to help any student*

Alpha: Looks like the situation will soon be under control.

Iris: I hope so. *worried in thought* 'Please come back soon y/n.'

Sherry: PLEASE, WE NEED MEDICAL!!!!

Suddenly, iris, alexia, rose, and claire see a violet portal opened and walking out of it, is sherry holding a wounded y/n.

I/A/R/C: *shock/worried* Y/N!!!!

The four immediately went to y/n's aid while alpha stayed back, while holding a neutral look, she was horrified and outraged in thought seeing y/n's wound.

Claire: *angry* WHO THE HELL DID THIS TO YOU Y/N?!?!

Y/n: *in pain* It was the damn assistant principal.

Rose: *confused and shocked* Lutheran barnett.

Alexia: *confused, but still pretty damn angry* Why would the assistant principal hurt you y/n?

Sherry: *helping y/n, but eyes were slightly less colorful* I heard my fa-*flinches in remembering, and clings more onto y/n's arm* mr.lutheran, on being responsible for the attack, along with the one being responsible for letting the kidnappers get into the school.

Iris: *realizes* 'So lutheran barnett is in league with the cult of diabolos, so that would mean.' He wanted to gain control of artifacts in possession.

Sherry: *slowly nods* Yes, but mr.cronan won't let him get away.

Alexia: *eyes widened in surprise* Cronan is facing lutheran.

Y/n: *nods with a smirk* Yeah, he's going to tear that disgusting goblin apart.

*Back inside lutheran's burning room*

Back in the burning room, cronan continued to effortlessly block all of lutheran's inhuman speedy sword strikes.

Lutheran: *smirk* Impressive defensive cronan, but lets see if you defend this!

Lutheran then again rushed at the not impressed leader of shadow garden with more harder sword strikes, but each of lutheran's strikes was again effortlessly blocked each time by cronan.

Cronan: *in a sword lock, unimpressed tone* Is that really all that "rebirth" power has given you, goblin.

Lutheran: *sword locked, smirk* I'll admit. You're indeed a very strong swordsman cronan. To show my respect for your strength. *gets out of sword lock, and backs away in inhuman speed* I won't hold anything back either! *demonic energy rises from his chest, arrogant grin* You have compelled me to fight you as an equal, that will be something to brag about in the afterlife.

After charging his aura, lutheran then launched with a deadly sword strike to cronan's heart and in an instant, lutheran was now behind cronan with a piece of the room's wall shattered and showing the night sky; however unknown to the mad swordsman, cronan made his body intangible to avoid the strike, and at the same time in unbelievable and incomprehensible speed, cronan landed a sword strike on lutheran's left shoulder.

Lutheran: *in pain* GHACK!!! *holds bleeding shoulder which steams up and heals, shocked* 'HOW?!?! I didn't see him move!?'

Cronan: *unimpressed tone* Is that really all you can do at your best? Even with an increased boost in your magic.

Lutheran: *angry* NO!!! NOT YET!!! I'll show you my true strength!

Lutheran then rushed at cronan again, but instead cronan simply dodged lutheran with ease.

Lutheran: *shocked* Impossible!

Cronan: Let me show you true speed, coward.

In the small room, lutheran began seeing multiple afterimages of cronan as a result of the leader of shadow garden going at a higher speed than the mad swordsman's.

Lutheran: *shock and disbelief* 'This is impossible! The eye and control unit helps the user achieve greater potential that is far above any human. Making me the greatest swordsman, so how is cronan doing this?!'

Cronan: *in afterimages* You're wondering how I'm doing this, correct?

Lutheran: *shocked*

Cronan: One word coward. *immediately in front of a shocked lutheran* Practice. *slashes lutheran's right shoulder*

Lutheran: *in pain* GHAACK!!! *right shoulder starts to heal, mad grin, but sweats a bit* It's impossible you can be this good! But it doesn't matter how strong you are, it's over for you!

Cronan: *bored tone* Oh, really?

Lutheran: *mad grin* Yes! I've made arrangements for poison thorn, to act as if they were part of your organization. I've prepared evidence, witnesses, testimonies, everything! Now the people will start seeing you and your organization as nothing but pathetic criminals, and the entire world will hunt you down and no amount of strength will save you! *laughs maniacally*

Cronan: Ever heard of coincidences, coward. Before coming across young sherry, I came across this room, and found some interesting books, especially detailing some peoples name, along with my "secondary group" poison thorn.

Lutheran: *shocked* You couldn't have!

Cronan: *serious tone* Your pathetic plan won't work, coward. Along with the fact, my organization isn't alone, and quite frankly your cult friends will truly meet their end.

Lutheran: *realizes* No! Impossible! There's no way you and your organization would ever ask for help from anyone!

Cronan: You assume that because of the strength my organization and I carry, we would act like your pathetic cult friends and act like we should be god to others. *serious tone* No way, my organization and I would ever be as pathetic as you, and unlike your cult friends, we fight together instead of tearing each other apart.

Lutheran: *angry* You're a fool cronan! *summons four thorny vines of demonic energy and reals back* And you'll die a fool! *launches at cronan*

*PIERCE!!* *SPLASH!!*

Lutheran: *in pain* GHAA!!!

Lutheran immediately found his sword hand pierced through by cronan's slime sword, and his sword on the floor.

Cronan: That y/n kid, told me what you did to his friend's mother. *foux thinking gesture* How did it go again? Ah, that's right. I tore her apart. Starting with her extremities.

*PIERCE!!*

Cronan pierced Lutheran's right leg.

Lutheran: *in pain* GHA!!

*PIERCE!!*

Then his left leg.

Lutheran: *in more pain* GHAA!!

*PIERCE!!*

Then going for lutheran's right shoulder.

Lutheran: *in extreme pain* GHAACK!!! *extremely frustrated and in disbelief* 'This can't be happening!'

Cronan then grabbed lutheran by the hair, aiming his sword to the mad swordsman's heart.

Cronan: *serious tone* Then going for the core and stabbing her heart with a twist, correct?

Lutheran: *in pain* W-wait, y-you need me. I can give you valuable information on the cult!

Cronan: *serious* Not interested. And to be honest, *stabs lutheran's heart*

Lutheran: *in extreme pain* GHAAA!!!

Cronan: *serious* You're truly just pathetic, *in a demonic tone* you coward~.

With a twist and removing his sword instantly, cronan pierce lutheran's heart clean through with a huge amount of blood being released along with the eye's gem cracking and breaking apart causing a huge amount of demonic energy being released from lutheran.

Lutheran: *dying* AAAHHHH!!! *eyes dimming* 'This...can't be happening...I was supposed to...reach the top!'

In his few final breaths, aside from seeing cronan, it could be the amount of blood loss, but lutheran swear he could see sherry mother's ghost behind cronan, waving at him with a retributed smile.

Lutheran: *dying* Damn..that...woman. Damn you...cronan.

With his final words, lutheran barnett was dead and lying on the floor of his own blood. After unsummoning his slime sword, cronan saw some broken remnants of the fused eye and control unit.

Cronan: 'That artifact caused a lot of problems, but *picks up the broken remnants* it's still a tool, and I'll make sure it has a better purpose.'

After getting what he needed, cronan jumped out of the broken wall and headed towards where the others are located, at.

*Outside the school*

With the students still being healed, iris, and alexia were looking at the now diminishing flamed school until cronan appeared.

Iris: *small smile* It's good to see you again cronan.

Cronan: *slightly bows, kind tone* To you as well princess iris. How are the students?

Iris: *small smile* They'll be fine, thanks to your medical group.

Alexia: *smirk* You really are something cronan, especially utilizing this healing magic.

Cronan: *chuckles* I am a man of many talents, princess alexia.

Sherry: Mr.cronan.

The three see sherry walk up to them.

Iris: *surprise* Sherry, you should be resting.

Sherry: D-did you. Did you do it?

Cronan: *nods* Yes. Lutheran barnett is dead.

Sherry: *nods* Thank you.

Cronan: *looks at iris* After killing lutheran, I picked up some remnants of the artifact. *shows the broken artifact remains* With your permission princess iris, I would like to hand this to my organization to make better use of it.

Iris: *slightly hesitant* While handing this kind of item is dangerous. *sighs but then smiles a little* But after giving us so much help especially in this situation, I can trust you with it, cronan.

Cronan: *gratitude tone* You have my utmost thanks princess iris, and I promise to not betray your trust. *puts away broken remnants* Until we meet again, princess iris. Stay well. *vanishes in purple light*

After cronan left, his members continued to put out the fire.

*Few hours later*

After some hours, the fire was fully put out, and most of, shadow garden left after seeing most of the students healed and after iris gave her gratitude and thanks to them. Alexia then walked up to iris after she finished talking with her officers.

Alexia: *slightly worried* Hey sis. Have you seen y/n? I can't find him anywhere.

Iris: *moves her head side to side, slightly worried* No I haven't, I've been busy talking to my officers about the situation.

Alexia: *getting a bit more worried* Where the hell could he be?

Sherry: I saw that alpha person took y/n to the medical building. It was surprisingly intact.

The two princesses turned to see sherry walk up to them.

Iris: *confused* What are you talking about sherry?

Sherry: Miss alpha took y/n to the medical buil-

Y/n: OW!!!!

The three recognized that voice and following where it came from, it led the three to the medical building's door.

Alexia: *relief sigh* Finally, We can-

Neferpitou: *within the room* Don't act like a baby, master, nyah. Healing from a demonically charged blade attack is delicate work, nyah. We're lucky it didn't hit a vital organ, nyah.

Penny: *within the room* Nefer is right, y/n. You can't just charge in, like that. We already have enough hot headed team mates for that anyway. You need to take better care of yourself!

Y/n: *within the room* Aye eye mom.

Alpha: *within the room* I love you very dearly my beloved, but penny and neferpitou do make a point. We will always follow your path, but you should try not to injure yourself badly when you're our lord cronan.

Y/n: *within room* I know.

*Door opening noise*

Sherry: *shocked* Y/n.

The teen in question immediately turned to see sherry, alexia, and iris in view with the door opened.

Y/n:

Y/n: *sweating bullets* Heeeey, guys. Wonderful night ain't it. Hehe.

Alexia: *soul piercing glare* Explain.

Iris: *soul piercing glare* Now.

Y/n: *sweating more bullets* 'Oh boy.'

Lutheran barnett, the man behind sherry barnett's mother murder, is now dead. Now y/n faces another challenge. Explaining to his very angry girlfriends. How will it play out, stay tuned.
