The students along with the kidnappers were still in shock about what happened. Rose was about to be killed by one of the kidnappers, but then in mere moments, y/n instantly took down and killed that said kidnapper.

Y/n: *smirk* You should've focused on your mission instead of doing a damn monologue.

Cloak 2: *draws his sword out* Think your tough shit kid, we're poi-

Y/n: *instantly got in front of cloak 2, and slices head off, annoyed* Enough with that repeating crap.

Cloak 3: *shocked* WHAT THE HE-

The other cloak individual was interrupted with a sword piercing his guts, courtesy from y/n.

Cloak 3: *coughs up blood* GAUGH!!!

Y/n: *sword plunged into cloak 3, smirk* Also, word of advice. Keep the commentary to a bare minimum in a sword fight. *removes sword and cuts cloak 3 head's off, sighs a bit* Okay, that deals with those guys. *looks at shocked classmates, serious* I understand all of you are trying to process what the hell is going on here, but we can't waste anymore time, and need to get out of here bef-

Cloak: *immediately got in front of the door, draws out his sword* Stop right there!

Y/n: -fore that happens, great. *narrows eyes a bit* 'There's several more of these jokers, I can take them, but I can't let anyone get hurt nor let them figure out I'm cronan.' *glances at rose* Miss president, I need you to get everyone to safety.

Rose: *breaks out of blush, concern* I can't leave you in this situation. There's too many of them.

Y/n: *serious* Sorry to say this miss president, but you can't help out too much since something is blocking out everyone's magic. *charges at kidnappers* NOW GET OUT OF HERE!!! I'LL DIVERT THEIR ATTENTION!!!

Rose: *tries to reach out to y/n* Y/n wait- *gasps*

Rose then witnessed y/n taking out many of the cloaked individuals with ease and barely breaking a single sweat. One of them tried to use a surprise attack behind y/n, but before rose could warn him. As if reading the future, y/n summersault over the cloaked individual's attempted surprise attack and sliced their head off.

Another went for an immediate luge attack with their sword raised, but y/n blocked the attack along with pushing the cloaked individual back a bit, and then proceeded to break their sword with a single sword swipe along with stabbing straight into their heart. Y/n then removed his now bloody cloaked sword and jumped a bit away to get some distance.

Y/n: *serious* 'That took some chunk out of them. *sees more coming* But they're damn persistent.' *rushes back at them*

Rose: *witnessing y/n taking down more of the cloaked kidnappers, shocked* 'He's taking them on without magic, and barely breaking a sweat! Just who are you y/n l/n?'

Second year student: *worried* Miss president, we should listen to what he said, and leave while these hooligans are distracted.

Rose: *gets out of thoughts, and looks at students and nods* You're right. *serious* Let's go, everyone! *gives one more look to y/n*

Somehow sensing rose distress, y/n decided to give her a symbol to believe in him.

Y/n:

Rose: *blushes from gesture, and held hand close to her chest, worried* 'Please be safe.' *leaves with everyone following*

While everyone left, ghislaine and envy who were still in disguise thanks to some anti-magic covering their slime disguise, looked to their husband/master. They knew y/n can handle themselves, but still had an inkling of worried still staining their hearts.

Y/n: *looks at the two with his eyes glowing a blackish glow, and then winks at the two with a smile and continue attacking*

Ghislaine: *widen eyes a bit, but nods, and looks at envy* Come on eric, we have to go.

Envy: *frustrated* Tch. Dammit! *goes together with ghislaine*

*1st pov*

Seeing everyone has left, now I can stop pulling punches.

Y/n: *breaths in and then breathes out with visible air showing* Well then gentlemens, I can finally cut loose.

Cloaked individual: *laughs a bit* Idiot. Did you forget your magic is blocked out.

Y/n: *twirls sword a bit* Hmm, that might be true. *stops twirling and gets into a stance*

Y/n: *devilish smile* But it doesn't stop pure anti-magic. *covers blade in anti-magic, and small black lightning arching coming out of it*

Cloak individual: *shocked* WHAT THE HELL?!?!

Y/n: *devilish smile* Oh, and your pathetic barrier. *mix of purple and black aura surrounds me* It only blocks out 80% of my full magic. *charges at cloaked individuals*

*Ghislaine pov*

While not with the other students, envy and I made enough of a way to figure some things out.

Envy: *started punching wall* Damn it! *punch* Damn it! *punch harder with arm changing into a green color and growing larger* DAMN IT!!!

Ghislaine: *serious* Envy, you have to calm down! Punching won't solve it, and also your arm.

Envy: *stops punching and changes arm back, looks at ghislaine with an angry/frustrated look* We left our master behind, ghis!

Ghislaine: *serious* I understand, but just like shadow garden, we believe y/n will always come out on top, and will always put our faith in him.

Envy: *glares for a bit, then releases a heavy sigh* You're right. It's just.

Ghislaine: *small smile* You love him. I understand. The shades and I are married to y/n and every inch of my being is screaming to help him, but I know he'll prevail.

Envy: Heh, yeah. *arms behind head, smiles* Bossman got this.

Ghislaine: *smiles* But I'll make sure to notify alpha on my permission to allow you to be a part of my husband's harem.

Envy: *wide eyes, shocked* Are you serious?

Envy: Speaking of shades, how are we supposed to contact them? Our magic got blocked by this stupid barrier.

Ghislaine: How much do you know about anti-magic envy?

Envy: Mostly that aside from you and the shades along with y/n have mastered this magic, and only a few shadow garden members can use it. It's also the reason why your slime cover isn't affected by this barrier. While my transformation is second nature to me and not affected by this damn barrier. Why ask?

Ghislaine: Well actually, delta and I are not so great with magic, but before fighting those insects again, y/n sent an anti-sail.

Envy: What the hell is an anti-sail?

Ghislaine: It's an alternative to y/n's broadcast spell. Alpha, flat chest, and beta are the only ones to use this spell. It's similar to the broadcast spell, but it has a bit of a delayed response.

Envy: *puts hands behind head, smirk* But I'm guessing there's more to that, especially if it involves our man.

Ghislaine: *small smile* Glad that you can keep up, and yes. Y/n's anti-sail can reach the shades faster, so.

Envy: *smirks* We just have to stall a bit of time and see if we can get some valuable information. So how are we going to do that?

Ghislaine: *suddenly remembers something* 'What did y/n say something about this? Something about a mysterious force that sometimes gives you what you want, and if it ever happens in your favor, don't take it for granted. Wonder what he meant by it?'

Cloaked individual 1: *spots us, yells* Hey! What the hell are you students doing here!

Cloaked individual 2: *points sword at us* You better listen to what we say, or things won't look pretty for you both.

Ghislaine and envy: *looks at insects, monstrous smile* 'This will do.'

*Alexa's pov*

I was with iris when this magic canceling barrier formed, and currently she's talking to some of the officers about the current situation.

Alexia: *looking at barrier covered school, worried* 'You better stay alive y/n! You have too.' *sees a purple flash for a brief second at one one of the buildings, hopeful whisper* Cronan.

Iris: *serious* There's students with their lives in danger with those kidnappers inside, and you want me to stand here!! 'Especially because y/n is in there as well!'

Officer: *worried* I understand your concern princess, but you have to listen to reason. Whatever is causing that barrier is canceling out all magic and it would be a huge risk with you becoming an open target for the kidnappers to grab if you go in there.

Iris: *grit teeths in anger and frustration* 'Damn it! I know he's right but y/n and the students are in there, but I can't just stand here, and do nothing to help! *eyes widen to sees a purple spark within one of the school buildings, smiles a bit in thought* Thank you cronan.' *looks at officer, serious* I want everything to be prepared and ready on my signal.

Officer 2: *concern* But ma'am.

Iris: *serious* Someone I have close connection with is in there dealing with this situation, and I need the preparations set for when an opening appears.

Officer 1 and 2: *salutes* Yes ma'am!!! *goes to set everything*

Alexia: *walks to iris side* You saw that spark as well big sister.

Iris: *small smile* Yes alexia, cronan is in there, *concerned* but I'm worried for y/n. I just hope he's alright.

Currently at the mitsugoshi top loft, four of the shades were in a meeting.

Alpha: *reading some information* So any word on epsilon.

Beta: Currently she is on one of her tours, but she has been gathering some information on some royals that have some connections with the cult. Another report I wanted to add is that lust and meninas that things are running smoothly and no bandits have been popping up lately.

Alpha: *nods* That's good to hear. Make sure to inform epsilon to keep up the good work and stay vigilant for anything.

Beta: *nods* Understood.

Delta: *tail swaying lazily while having head on table* Hey gamma, can you bring any meat or chocolate for the next meeting? It's so boring sometimes.

Gamma: *chuckles a bit* I'll make sure to bring in some next time. *looks at alpha, small smile* I wanted to notify you alpha that I sent nu and gasper undercover to the school to inform y/n on our latest reports on the cult. I hope you don't mind.

Alpha: *small smile* It's no worries gamma, and it's only reasonable y/n knows, and makes it easier to tell the new harem members, but overall. *looks at her ring fondly* He's our loving husband after all.

Gamma: I've actually been hearing some small dark rumors going on with lindwurm from some customers, and I believe the cult has a connection with those rumors.

Alpha: *nods* Indeed. *looks at beta* Inform machi and konan to keep close watch on anything that happens in lindwurm, and report anything that seems amiss.

Beta: *nods* I'll make sure of it.

Suddenly each shade's eyes glowed a blackish color.

Gamma: *widen eyes in horror* Y/N!!!

Delta: *slams hands on table* THOSE DAMN INSECTS!!! I'LL RIP THEM ALL TO SHREDS!!!

Alpha: *looks at delta, serious* Calm down delta

Delta: *slightly calms down , but still growls in fury*

Alpha: *serious* I want every available member that is in the area to go to the academy this instant. *looks at beta* Beta, I'll also need you to get sinon, and lust for long range, along with penny and neferpitou in case any students were injured.

Beta: *nods, serious* Roger. 'We're coming y/n!!' *immediately teleports*

Alpha: *looks at gamma* Gamma, you'll stay here in the capital and be in charge of, general commander, and send a message to nu and gasper to inform them.

Gamma: *nods* I will not fail at this task. *looks at her ring, concerned* 'Stay safe y/n.' *eyes glow purple sending a message to nu and gasper*

Alpha: *looks at delta, serious* Let's go delta.

After dealing with these weaklings, I got out of the empty classroom to find my bearings and see what the hell was happening.

Y/n: *walks through some hallways, while trying to test out my magic but only flickers, annoyed* 'Well my magic is still bugging out. *sighs a bit* Great. At least my physical training is showing along with my anti-magic, hope the shades got my message.' *looks at a nearby window, and sees how far the barrier covers* Looks like whatever is causing this has one hell of a range on it.

Outside cloaked individual: MOVE IT!!

Y/n: *sees all of his classmates rounded up in the auditorium building, extremely annoyed* 'Shit! The cult got them rounded up.'

Cloaked individual 1: *serious* Stop right there!

Cloaked individual 2: *serious* Don't move a muscle.

I then turned my attention to two cultist, while they were wearing the tacky garbs. There was something off about them.

Y/n: *tries to sense the two's magic* 'That's odd. Even though these cultists are weaklings, they have full access to their magic in this barrier, but these two's magic are blocked to an extent like me. Wait a sec. *looks at cloaked individual 1 and 2's eyes* I know those eyes, anywhere.' *smiles* I'm glad you two are safe. Ghislaine, envy.

Cloaked individual 2: *serious until sighs* Damn. *changes to original form* I thought I could get you.

Y/n: *small smirk* While your transformations are good envy, you can't jump me that easily. *looks at ghislaine, small smile* Good to see your holding up, my adorable tigress.

Ghislaine: *removes cover, along with smiling, and then walks up to me and initiates a deep kiss*

While one of my wives and I were having a moment, I forgot a certain changeling spectator was watching.

Y/n: *pets ghislaine causing her to purr while looking at envy, small smile* So I'm guessing you two went into a small undercover to figure out this little mystery.

Envy: *smiles* Nothing gets by you, boss, but yeah. Apparently these pathetic bozos are here to get back an artifact.

Y/n: *still petting ghislaine* An artifact? For what reason?

Envy: *puts hands behind head and sighs* Unfortunately we don't know and neither do these bozos. All of them only know that their leader wants that artifact back badly, practically desperately.

Y/n: *nods* I see. Anything else to report, envy.

Envy: Yeah, apparently nu and gasper are here as well.

Y/n: Nu and gasper? What are they doing here?

Ghislaine: *enjoying the petting* They both got permission from gamma to come here to report what's going on with shadow garden.

Y/n: *smiles* Thank you gamma, *looks at envy* and thank you as well envy.

Envy: *starts to blush, smiles* It was no problem y/n.

Y/n: *stops petting ghislaine, who whines a bit but goes back to envy's side* Well at least we know what's going on somewhat. *notices the science division building through the window, and uses eyesight to notice sherry carrying something* It's sherry.

Ghislaine: The assistant principal's daughter?

Y/n: *nods still watching sherry* Yeah, and she has the artifact. *looks at the two* Alright, I'm going to help sherry, and you two keep undercover until backup arrives.

Ghislaine and envy: *nods* Roger.

While ghislaine put on her cover, envy didn't.

Y/n: Is there something wrong, envy?

Envy: *sultry smirk* Before I head out with ghis, I want to give you a good luck charm y/n~.

Like a viper, envy immediately lunged at me with a rough deep kiss and I felt her tongue transform a bit to become longer and the kiss got more heated. Before responding, envy let go of the kiss, but there was a bridge of saliva made between us.

Envy: *blushing with a sultry smirk* What can I say? I want to make sure my lovable husband comes back safe and sound.

After the two put on their cover, and went off somewhere, I opened the nearby window and climbed down to the bushes. I made sure to sneak by all the cultists and then finally sneak to one of the science building windows and got into the building and immediately started looking for sherry.

Y/n: 'It'll be difficult to find her, because of this barrier, but what choice do I have?' *suddenly sees more cultists*

After dealing with more of these pesky cultists, I continued my search for sherry.

*Few minutes later*

*Sherry's pov*

It felt like hours, but I kept avoiding those cloaked guys calling themselves poison thorn. I don't know why they want the artifact, but I won't let the princesses and father down! Though for some reason, I kept feeling that someone was trying to find me, but every time I had a chance to look around, they were gone, strange.

Sherry: *got to the stairs, sighs in relief* Finally, *determined* I just have to get to, father's office and hopefully the documents are still there. *starts walking the stairs, but accidentally lost her footing* Ah!

Right when I thought I would hit the floor, I felt someone grab me.

Y/n: *sighs in relief* I finally found you. *concerned* You all right sherry?

*1st pov*

Sherry: *went wide eyes at seeing me, then gets out of my hold and then immediately hugs me* Y/n, it's you! I'm glad you're safe!

Y/n: *returns hug, small smile* I'm glad you didn't get caught sherry. *releases the hug* But maybe you should take off those noisy slippers, those guys along with me could hear them quite well.

Sherry: *shocked then faced head down in embarrassment* Right.

*Assistant principal's office*

After getting sherry to her father's office, she immediately started to find some documents, while I looked around the place.

Y/n: *curious* It's weird the assistant principal isn't around?

Sherry: *smiles* Maybe he was able to get out in time.

Y/n: Maybe. 'But somewhere in my gut is telling me something is off.'

Sherry: *smiles* I found it!

Y/n: *gets out of thought* So what's causing this barrier, sherry?

Sherry: *places a book on the table, and turns to a specific page and points* This is the cause of our magic being canceled, an artifact called the eye of avarice. It can absorb magical energy from any dark knight and magical item from its range of efficacy and store it temporarily. As a result, it becomes difficult to shape any magical energy within its vicinity.

Y/n: *confused* So if this eye of avarice absorbs any magic, then how come the kidnappers can use their magic without issue.

Sherry: It says here that you can program it to remember magical frequencies that you don't want to absorb. It has to have a feature like that or it will swallow the magic of anyone who tries to use it.

Y/n: *narrows eyes a bit in thought* 'So it's useless to get near the thing. It'll just suck up all the magic out of me.' Can this artifact absorb any magic that hasn't been recorded in its memory?

Sherry: That I don't know. I don't think it can absorb magic traces that are too small to detect, and of course powerful magical spells that exceeds the artifact's capacity would be too much for it, but there's no human alive that can use that kind of magic.

Y/n: *nods* I understand. So what does it do with all that magic it absorbs? It has to have some reason for absorbing so much of it.

Sherry: I was actually getting to that part. If it didn't use that absorbed magic, it would just make the artifact hard to work with, but once the eye of avarice absorbed all the magical energy in its vicinity, it releases it all at once.

Y/n: *eyes widen, concern* So in other words sherry, that artifact becomes a giant magical bomb.

Sherry: *nods in concern* Yes. Didn't you mention that those kidnappers took everyone to the auditorium, right?

Y/n: *nods in concern* Yeah, meaning that eye is absorbing everyone's magic as we speak, but as soon as it's got enough juice, the school and everyone in it is going to be a one damned giant crater.

Sherry: *concern* Yes and that's the reason why father chose not to publish his findings in academia and gave the eye of avarice to the government for safe keeping.

Y/n: *surprised* If that's the case, how the hell did the kidnappers get their hands on it?

Sherry: *shrugs shoulders* I don't know y/n. They must've stolen it somehow.

Y/n: 'Something doesn't smell right about this, but I'll deal with it later. Right now we need to figure out a way to turn off that artifact before it goes critical. *suddenly thoughts of an idea* That's it!' *looks at sherry* Sherry, I know you said that it's impossible for anyone to have a huge magic reserve to make a giant spell to surpass the eye, but hypothetically if a person focused all their energy in a single point and then released it for one spell, could it surpass the artifact.

Sherry: *surprised* 'That's brilliant!' It could work, but it would take extreme concentration to do something like that to surpass the eye of avarice.

Y/n: 'So I just have to use one spell with precise focus to break through this artifact. *sighs a bit in thought* What a drag.' *looks at sherry* So is there a way to fight back this artifact?

Sherry: *nods* Yes. *brings out a star-like artifact, smiles* with this.

Y/n: *curious* Oh yeah, I saw an image of it on one of the books you had when I picked them up for you.

Sherry: *small smile* This artifact is the control unit for the eye of avarice.

Y/n: *surprised* So this artifact controls the eye?

Sherry: *nods with a small smile* Yes, and I've been deciphering it, and I've finally figured it out. *activates the control unit and it blinks a bit* Originally the eye of avarice was meant to be used with this one, as a long term magical storage.

Y/n: Meaning it can absorb magical energy without issue and can stop avarice from being a giant bomb.

Sherry: *smiles* Yes, exactly! *looks at the star artifact in joy* Isn't it incredible. It can effortlessly store and operate magical energy. With this technology, it could possibly be a huge breakthrough-

Y/n: ...-_-...Um sherry.

Sherry: * embarrassed blush* Sorry. *coughs a bit*

Y/n: So can you fully activate this artifact from here, sherry?

Sherry: *shook her head in concern* Unfortunately , the artifact can only work when it's close to the eye of avarice.

Y/n: *annoyed* And unfortunately, the eye is at the auditorium and the place to and from here are swarming with more of those lunatics. *sighs* What a drag.

Sherry: *small smile* Actually, all of the academy's facilities are connected via a series of hidden tunnels to use as an escape route, if there's an emergency.

Y/n: *narrow eyes a bit in thought* 'A series of tunnels, huh.'

Sherry: All I have to do is finish decoding the artifact *concern* but the problem is, I left all my tools to fine tune it in my study.

Y/n: Really? Well then, *gets up and stretches a bit* if that's the case. I'll get those tools.

Sherry: *shocked then turn to extreme concern* Wait a minute y/n! Those men will spot you. You could get hurt!

Neither of us move for a bit with only the clock ticking.

Y/n: *coughs a bit* W-well I should get going. *gets to the door, and slightly turns head to look at sheery, smiles* Stay safe sherry.

Sherry: *blushing smile* Y-you too y/n. *just realized* Oh I almost forgot, *got a piece of paper from desk and wrote some things, and gives it to me* This is the list of tools I need from my studies.

Y/n: *puts list in pocket, small smile* Thanks sherry. *opens the door and leave*

After leaving the room, I started heading the way to sherry's study.

After y/n left, Sherry was by herself, but her face was still red as a tomato and steam was literally coming out of her head remembering her good luck charm.

Sherry: *frantic* 'I can't believe I did that! I can't believe I did that! I can't believe I did that! I can't believe I did THAT!!!!! It's been a few hours, and no changes with the magic-canceling barrier.

Iris: *sighs* What did y/n say when things takes this long?

Iris: *chuckles a bit* Yeah. *slightly concerned* I wonder how y/n is doing?

Alexia: *closed eyes smile* I imagine he's thinking of a strategy to get out of this.

While still thinking about y/n, I then noticed alexia walk towards alpha and the two were staring each other down.

I was shocked by how much magical aura alexia and miss alpha were producing, and I thought I was hallucinating, but I could've sworn I saw a silver dragon behind my younger sister and a gold dragon on miss alpha's side as well.

Iris: *sweatdrop at the scene* I actually would believe that.

In the auditorium all the students were currently seated with many cultists surrounding the area, but at the stage of the auditorium, there stood a male figure that wore a knight-like armor along with a red cape but the helmet had six eyes on it and glowed an ominous red.

Red knight: *impatient* 'What's taking these idiots long to get that artifact?'

???: *by the red knight's side, smirk* Take over is nearly completed gaunt. The knights are making preparations, but whatever is will probably fail anyway, so no worries.

Another person was beside the red knight known as gaunt, the person was a male wearing a black uniform with a red vest along with having two large swords on his waist.

Sir gaunt: *angered tone* It's sir gaunt, to you rex. Don't forget who's your superior, and I don't care for any of that. Why haven't you retrieved the artifact?

Rex: *smirk* Oh yes, that artifact, I'm pretty sure that little pink haired brat has it *small laugh* I have a general idea where to find it-*notices sir gaunt's shadow looming over him, eyes widen in fear seeing the red knight's eyes glow*

Sir gaunt: *rising anger tone* Do you have any idea how much your antics have interfered with our plans?

Rex: *steps back a bit in fear* H-hey now, don't get mad.

Sir gaunt: *clenches fist and releases some small red sparks* One more slip up and I will kill you, personally.

Rex: Okay okay, don't get upset *puts hands behind head* I'll go get it right now. *starts to walk away, but stops to turn head slightly* Oh that reminds me, somebody has been taking out some of our thirds, but two of our seconds. There's a real master fighter hiding in this school. You think it might be you know who?

Sir gaunt: Shadow garden. Probably, but highly unlikely. They wouldn't risk these students' safety and would be weak against this barrier's effect. It must be a stray student these idiots forgot to pick up. If you find this student, kill them, and find the artifact, or else.

Rex: Yes sir.  I also heard from one of our guys that they saw a purple flash by one of the school buildings just for a second before it disappeared. Was that-*gasp*

Sir gaunt: *releases strong killing intent* So he is here as well. Cronan.

Rex: *smirks* I'll be damned, he's here. Can't wait to take his helmet as a trophy.

Sir gaunt: *serious tone* Do not underestimate the leader of shadow garden, you fool. He's taken out multiple core members and heard reports that he's responsible for that huge attack that destroyed one of our test subjects.

Rex: *waves hand dismissively* Sure, sure. *proceeds to leave*

Sir gaunt: *looks back to captive students* That fool will die a pathetic death, but none of it will matter. *pulls out the glowing eye of avarice* Finally all of my ambitions will be realized and I'll be reinstated into the knights of round. *starts to laugh darkly for a bit*

*Claire's pov*

Just like everyone here, I was captured as well, with my magic sealed and my sword being held by one of these bastards. I was completely defenseless.

Claire: *annoyed* 'Damn it! I got out of my thoughts to turn to y/n's two idiot perverted friends of his, skel and po. While I trust my crush's judgment, I don't understand what he sees in those two.

Claire: *serious* What do you two idiots mean?

While trying to find sherry's tools, I took notice of some cultists being nearby from their footsteps, and hid a bit from sight.

Y/n: *slightly looks from window to see the cultists, serious* 'More cultists. *notices rex* He's different, a higher soldier. While I should let cronan deal with them, I'll save him later for the one who's responsible for all of this.' *eyes slightly glow in a violet color*

While rex and his men still walked and searched, y/n came out of the room and stood in front of them.

Rex: *sees figure, smirk* Well well, judging from your posture, it seems to me that I found the master fighter that's been killing my men.

Y/n: *serious* And you must be rex, the game of betrayer that some of your men have been talking about?

Suddenly everything around rex became pitch black, along with y/n as well. The only thing in the eternal darkness was rex and his net.

Y/n: *in the darkness* I'm giving you one chance. Tell me how you and your soon to be dead friends got into the school, and maybe your death can be a painless one.

Rex: *laughs* You think I'm going to be threatened like that, you bastard! *smirk* I've dealt worse, and so will that pink haired brat, when I get my hands on her!

What caused rex to gasp in fear wasn't y/n, who he was expecting, but instead it was some form of creature with soul stealing eyes that looked down at rex like a bug.

Y/n: *enters room while smiling a bit* Hey nu.

*Y/n's pov*

Nu: *dissipates slime dagger, small smile* I'm glad you're in good health, lord cronan.

I took a good look at nu's disguise, nu wore the female school uniform, along with putting her hair in a bun style and had round glasses on.

Y/n: *smiles* Those are very good covers for you nu.

Nu: *confused* What do you mean y/n?

Y/n: *small smile* You see, the reason I'm getting these materials is because the assistant's principal daughter sherry and I are in the process of fine tuning an artifact.

Nu: *surprised* An artifact? You know how to do that y/n?

Y/n: *small smile* Yeah, the reason for our magic being blocked is because of an artifact called the eye of avarice, sherry and I are in the final stages of fine tuning an artifact that acts as a control unit for the eye.

Nu: *shocked* That task would require the greatest minds in the kingdom.

Y/n: 'I did actually work on other artifacts along with eta when we were growing up. I wonder how gáe bolg and tathlum are coming along?' *small smile* I believe, will be finishing the tuning around when the sun goes down, so be ready, nu. Also send a record orb to ghislaine and envy to be ready as well

Nu: I will notify alpha to make the preparations ready for when night comes.

After y/n left, nu stood there for a bit.

Nu: *holds fast beating heart, smile* My heart is still racing, but I feel at peace knowing that lord cronan accepts my feelings and I can finally call him my husband. *determined* As a member of shadow garden and as one of y/n's future wives, I'll destroy anyone who crosses his lord's path.

With that, nu left swiftly as the wind to get everything ready for her lord and husband.

After arriving back to sherry, she went quickly to work with her tools and started tuning up the control unit.
