Y/n: I followed Eltariel to Seregost. The journey took maybe a week or so. That was not counting the time we spent dealing with ring wraiths along the way. We found out about a worm that was sending a message to three captains telling them where to go for the ritual. we were to meet with Talion so we could intercept the messenger. I grew to have feelings for Eltariel. She may be strong but she is a good person. But we don't really hold much conversation. Mainly because she worries about the Nazgul so much. I don't blame her though, they are a real threat. I decided to wait until after this mission before confessing. I figured since we were waiting a little bit afterwards, that would be the best place. We met with Talion and cleared out a camp. The we had a little competition to see who would could kill more Uruks. And I had more kills. But then the worm arrived and Talion got the information. And the Uruks that were chosen were on their way.  We attacked them. I killed mine very quickly. Talion and Eltariel killed theirs a few minutes later. Talion left us. 

Y/n in head: Now Y/n. You might not get another opportunity. 

Y/n nervous: Hey Eltariel can I tell you something? 

Eltariel: Sure Y/n.

Y/n nervous: So in the time that we have been traveling together. I realized something. A feeling I had never had before. But I am sure of what it is. I have feelings for you.

Eltariel: Y/n. I'm sorry. But it would be impossible for us to be together. We have almost nothing in common. And... I am not sure if you understand what love is. 

I have been stabbed, slashed, whipped and bashed. But no pain in the world could match the shattering of my heart. The first love I had did not return my feelings. I had no clue what to do now. 

Y/n voice breaking: Oh-okay, I thought it was stupid anyway.

Y/n in head: But we do have things in common, you just don't see it. 

I wanted to run away and hide. But that would have done me no good. 

Y/n saddened: I'm going for a walk. *walks away*.

I went a good distance away. I was up against a mountain. I screamed and punched it as hard as I could crying. It was the only way I knew how to cope. Even after my knuckles started to hurt and bleed. I did not stop. I heard footsteps approach. 

Talion: Y/n? 

Y/n crying: Oh *sobs* Hey boss. 

Talion: What happened Y/n? 

I explained everything to him. 

Talion: This is not your fault Y/n.

Y/n: It is my fault. I should have just kept my mouth shut! And now...now I don't know what to do. 

Celebrimbor: Love is a confusing emotion, perhaps this was just not meant to be. 

My heart broke once more at those words and I clearly showed it.

Talion: Celebrimbor you are not helping. 

Y/n: He is right, I was a fool. I guess I don't really know what love is.

Talion: Either way, she had no right to say what she said. 

Celebrimbor: Even if it was true, saying it out loud is not okay.

Y/n: Thanks. But I just want to lay down and rest now. I laid down and curled up into a ball. 

Talion left. 

(Talion's point of view)

Talion: I feel bad for him.

Celebrimbor: That matters little at the moment. 

Talion: Look we can't just leave it like this. 

Celebrimbor: We have no choice, he must figure this out on his own. We can not hold his hand through this.

Talion: Look I understand that, but he does not know what to do. He has never experienced this before.

Celebrimbor: More the reason to let him deal with this on his own. 

I kept walking, I found Eltariel standing where Y/n must have left her. 

Talion: Eltariel.

Eltariel: Talion. 

I was mad, not on what she did but how she did it.

Talion: What right do you have to tell a man that he does not know what love is!?

Eltariel: So Y/n told you then.

Talion: Yeah he did! After I found him punching a mountain crying!

Eltariel: I just don't think he understands that it might not be love he is feeling.

Talion: I think it is! Someone who isn't in love does not punch a mountain till their knuckles bleed! 

Celebrimbor: Talion is right. You handled the situation poorly. 

Eltariel: And what would you have me do then?!  

Talion: What would have been better was you helping him. Instead of shattering his heart.

Eltariel: It would have been shattered anyway! It mattered little!

Talion: You did not see him! You did not see the heart break in his eyes! Right now he is laying down broken! 

Talion sarcastically: Well done, you broke a man that not even the Nazgul can defeat! 

Eltariel: Why do you care so much?! 

Talion: Because Y/n should not be going through this! He should not be in Mordor! But that will never change! So while I can help him I will! 

Eltariel: We are leaving soon anyway. 

Talion: No you're not, I'm taking Y/n with me from now on.

Eltariel: Why?! 

Talion: Think about what you did, then tell me the answer. 

She looked away. 

I walked away and over to Y/n. I found him laying down.

Talion: Hey Y/n, you're coming with me from now on, okay? 

Y/n: Okay boss, whatever you say. 

Celebrimbor: He will not be the same. 

Talion: Would you if you just had your heart shattered like he did. 

Celebrimbor: No.
