CHAPTER ONE
The one on the left pulled the knife out of my stomach and I fell forward, face planting into the grass. The three men ran off in different directions.
I struggled but turned my body onto my back, putting most my weight on the noninjered side. I tried to stop the blood flow from my abdomen but the warm, thick, red liquid was seeping through my fingers making me gag.
I had to get help, I knew no one was here right now, it was the middle of the night, my dad wouldn't care he would probably laugh or tell me to piss-off, I have no friends anymore, but their was one person who I could call, hopefully he would care enough to send help, even after our little fight, which is why I was in the park at 2:30 a.m. It wasn't a smart thing but I did it.
OK OK before we go anywhere more with this story I want you to know a little bit of what's happened in the past year.
Let me start from the beginning.
Me and my best friend, emily stynger, were sitting at lunch together as usual, it was all normal, but that particular day was going to ruin my life forever.
"Andy what's that?" Emily asked pointing at the big bruise shaped like fingers on my arm. I pulled my sleeve further down my arm.
"It's nothing Em I just fell." I told her, silently hoping she would just let it go as usual and forget that she even saw them.
I pulled my book out and all my attention was on that. I was reading a very interesting series, it was the Percy Jackson and the Olympians but I was on the second series, the Heros of Olympus, I had just finished The son of Neptune and just started The Mark Of Athena last period. It was just at the part where Annabeth judo - flips Percy and then kisses him because she missed him.
"-ause there was another sighting in Bayville- Andy are you even listening!?" Tyler yelled/spoke.
"Nope." I replyed not looking up from my book.
"Well you should because there was another mutant sighting IN THE TOWN NEXT TO OURS!" It's like he thinks if he yells it'll make me more interested. The truth is I don't give a crap, ok so there's mutants it's not like we can exterminate them like bugs. We try to control them but it doesn't matter because there's not anything we can do about it.
All in all, I don't care.
But there are some people - like tyler- who think that mutants should be killed on sight.
Like I said, I don't actually care. Just then the bell for the end of lunch rang out.
At my locker I was just grabbing my stuff as usual but like every day Stella Kane came up to me and slammed my locker.
Stella Kane was the schools popular girl and never went anywhere without her best friends and boyfriend, she was really really really cleche.
Her best friends were Avery Dellvan, Lilly Jordan, and Hally Torrent, and then her boyfriend, Austin Miller. They found fun in giving me pain.
"Hey Andy why don't we go out back and you show us your special powers."
"Leave me alone Stella." I said with warning in my voice.
"Or what you'll call mommy!" I cringed at that. She threw a punch at my stomach and hit right where Ethan hit me last night. I doubled over in pain. I was done with this, it had gone too far for a long time, but there was nothing I could do about it.
Well nothing that I knew I could do about it.
Third person pov
Andy's eyes went black, from the pupil to the iris even the whites of her eyes went pitch black. There was a surge in her gut and shadows started creeping off of Andy like an aura. She was now hovering five inches off the ground her hair and random things from lockers started flying around her. The classroom and locker doors were slamming then opening over and over again in the now empty school. It was utter chaos.
At Xavier's institute
Cerebro alerted everyone of a mutant not far from Bayville in a small town about an hour away called Bellview.
"The mutants name is Andrea Stellar, she's twelve years old. Her mother died in a car crash three years ago, and her father, Evan Stellar died of small cell lung cancer when she was nine. She lives with her step father, Ethan Moore. She has strong powers but they are also very unpredictable, so be careful. Jean and Kitty I want you to try to calm her down she doesn't have control right now, she's going to be very scared. If that doesn't work, Kurt I want you to teleport above her and try to take her down from there. This is not a hostile mission she's going to have her barriers up which will manifest into real walls that you have to bring down. Above all, try not to hurt her."
