There I was, with 5 other fighters in the tournament. The grand prize was Mercy Island; the opening between hell and earth.
I, however didn't care about the island. My business was with the host, Onyx.
Onyx was a powerful demon king who had to be stopped. The 6 fighters who attended were, Leo, Randy, Zodiac, Nubis, Onyx, and myself.
"First round. Randy vs Nubis." Onyx called out.
They stepped into the ring.
"Begin!" Randy jumped up toward Nubis, who tried to uppercut Randy, but the latter dodged and countered with a spin kick.
Nubis flipped back and and slid toward Randy, who then jumped and smashed his knee into Nubis's chest.
"KO! Randy wins. Round 2 Leo vs Zodiac. Begin!" Leo ran at Zodiac with a right hook, but used a knee instead.
Zodiac staggered backwards and kicked Leo in the face. Leo retaliated with a kick in the ribs and followed up with a fierce uppercut and finished with an elbow in the stomach.
"KO! Leo wins. Round 3 Ruby vs Randy. Begin." I was up, but Randy had forfeited.
"I can sense your power and its much greater than my own. I give this bout to you," He said.
"Ruby wins. Round 4 Leo vs Ruby. Begin!" Leo came at me with a punch, however I grabbed his arm, tripped him and threw him out the ring.
"Ring out! Ruby wins. Round 5 Ruby vs Onyx" As onyx said those words a huge grin stretched across his face.
"Begin!" Onyx slowly walked towards me and jumped out with a kick, I ducked and flip kicked him in the chin.
He jumped back and slid forward with a trip kick. I jumped, but he caught me with an uppercut. I fell down and got back up, and hit him with my Pulse Kick move. He flew back and shot an energy blast at me. I dodged it and finished him off with a supercharged Pulse Kick.
"Impossible!" He shouted.
He flew off the island and into the water. The tournament was over.
After that I gave the island to Leo and Randy, who eventually destroyed it in order to close the weak spot.
