I groaned as I sleepily slammed down the alarm clock. Five more minutes I promised to myself and again went back to sleep. Soon my sleep was again disturbed by an another alarm clock which I was trying to again knock down but it wasn't happening. And then my alarm clock giggled. Wait giggled??

I quickly opened my eyes to see Tanisha was sitting beside me with the alarm clock and giggling away. I rolled my eyes at her and again tucked myself under the duvet.

"Nope, not happening" she said as she pulled away the duvet making my teeth chatter.

"Do you want me to catch cold?" I shouted and quickly covered myself from the bed sheet.

"Stop being a child..and it's not that cold" she said as a matter of fact.

"Whatever..and why are you so up early?" I asked as I ran my hand through my hair.

"Early??? Madam it's already ten past eight. Wake up!! Or you'll be late for your work" she said examining her nails.

"And you're telling this to me now?" I got up and pushed her away making her again fall off the bed and slamming the door shut of my washroom. After quickly taking a bath I ran out of the washroom almost tripping twice while tying the robe. Thank God I had already ironed my clothes and kept it ready yesterday.

I quickly wore my long straight skirt in grey color with a pastel pink blouse. I wore my heart shaped chain and quickly put some kohl and mascara completing my look with a peach lipgloss. I quickly blow dried my hair and made a messy bun and tucked it under my grey color hijab. Quickly grabbed my long black pullover and slipping into my heels I dashed downstairs.

I was already running behind the time and I knew if I wasn't out within five minutes I'll miss my bus and will have to take the cab which I don't want to. I greeted Uncle and Aunty and hurriedly took granola bar and was about to leave when Tashu decided to call out my name.

"Tashu not now I'm already late" I said hurriedly.

"I don't think it's a good idea to go out without your purse and cell?" She said as she lifted up and showed me my purse and cell. God!! How can I forget..

"Thank you Thank you so much" this weekend, movie from my side. I said as I gave her a chaste kiss on the cheek and went outside running like a mad woman.

As I went to the bus stop I saw my bus was about to leave when I quickly got in and took my usual seat. I then breathed a sigh of relief and took a bite of my granola bar. I then started thinking about my new boss Aariz Aatish. I hope he's not a strict kind of man.

I just hope he's not arrogant and cocky and yes I will try my level best to be good towards him. I quickly finished eating as I reached my stop. I got down and was walking hurriedly when I was again called but this time it was by Junaid.

"Hey..excited to meet our new boss?" He asked rubbing his palms together.

"Nope" I replied in a bored tone.

"Why?" He asked.

"Give me one good reason to be" I asked as we went inside the elevator.

"He might be handsome, and who knows he may be your dream man" he said imagining.

"Are you gay??" I asked.

"What??? No...please I'm very much straight" he said as his expression turned horrified.

"Chill..I'm just joking" I said and laughed.

We both got out of the elevator and quickly went to our separate ways. I quickly got busy in work and all my second thoughts of Mr.Aatish just flew away. I was almost done with my work when suddenly Muskaan barged into my cabin and I jumped in fear which resulted me falling on the floor. Told ya that I'm in love with the floor!!

"Ohh..sorry!! I forgot that your are very clumsy" Muskaan said sheepishly. And I glared.

"What brought you here?" I asked in total annoyance when I again sat back on my chair.

"I heard that he's here" she said in a hush voice.

"Who's here?" I asked going through my files.

"He..our temporary boss" she whispered.

"Ohhhkkaayy" I said.

"Ohkayy?? Only okayy?? Huh!! You're no fun!!" She said and that made me laugh.

"My dear, if drooling over him shows that I'm excited then I'm surely not excited" I said and smiled.

She was about to say something when boss's voice interrupted us.

"All the Head of the department and the Head Manager are requested to come to the conference room within ten minutes."

"Go...he's waiting for you" Muskaan said and winked. I rolled my eyes and straightened my skirt before walking towards the conference room. I quickly pressed the button and waited for the elevator. After waiting for five minutes the elevator finally came and quickly went inside and pressed the sixteenth floor button and patiently waited.

I got out of the elevator and again I was called..

"Hoorain" Sandy called

"Yes Sandy" I said and smiled.

"Going to meet the new boss?" He asked.

"No..was called" I replied.

"It's obvious you all have been called for that only" he said.

"Well, then allow me to go and check the real reason" I said. I don't know why but Sandy always gets on my nerves. He's such a big flirt..

"Oh yeah sure, but I guess only if your blouse would have been in clear white color than pink then you would have looked more sexy" he smirked as he winked and went away making me fuming in anger.

Glaring at his back I opened the door only to be met with already half open door and what to say I Love You My Floor...but nope I was hanging only halfway away from my boyfriend!! I looked up to see Zain holding me firmly. I exhaled a breath of relief.

"Are you okay?? You're hurt somewhere?" He asked as helped me in standing and maintaining the balance.

"Nope..thank you" I smiled.

"No need..what are friends for" he whispered. And I scrunched up my nose at his closeness and he laughed.

"Hoorain..are you alright" boss came and asked me.

"Yes boss" I said and smiled.

"You sure?" Zain asked. I nodded and then he went away.

"Come let's sit down.." He said and gestured to the chair. And then realization hit me like a bullet train. I have practically humiliated myself in front of everyone.

I then walked forward and then suddenly a streak of blue caught my eyes. When I looked towards that blue source of light I did a sharp in take of breath. Cold blue eyes were staring back at me without any emotions. His dark brown hair was neatly combed. He has a perfectly shape jaw and body to die for. His lips were of a perfect shape. He was wearing a blue tux which was very much complimenting his eyes. He was a model. In front of me was one and only Mr.Aariz Aatish.

"Miss.Ahmed if you have finished checking me out then can we start the introduction?" He said snapping me out of my daydream. He was smirking and instantly my cheeks heated making me blush horribly. Oh God! Why you have to be so drop dead gorgeous?? I don't know why but I again started staring at him.

Suddenly boss cleared his throat making me blush again and he quickly averted his gaze. Geez girl control your hormones..remember he's your boss?? I took my seat and kept on chanting as he stood up to introduce himself.

"Hello everyone I'm Aariz Aatish your new boss or you may say your temporary new boss. I like my employees to be punctual" he said as he glared at me. "And whatever project we have I want all of that ready a week before the due date..and whoever wants to resign will give me the resignation letter a month before..." He kept on saying.

I could only concentrate on his lips as it moved perfectly when he spoke and his muscles flexing with each movement. How can someone be so perfect? His each and every feature is just perfect..but wait!! Why am I so into him..he is so cocky. But at the same time I had this thing in my heart as if I've known him all my life. It's like I have a certain connection with him..but I'm not able to get my hand on that particular thing.

"....so this is all I've to say it for now" he said and everyone stood up applauding making me again snap out of my day dream. Everyone went to him and shook their hands then went away. I also went up to him confidently.

"Welcome to Khan's Enterprises Mr.Aatish..I'm Hoorain Ahmed and I'm the Head Manager and with that I'll also be working under you.." I said as I was confidently standing in front of him.

"Miss.Ahmed I want you to pay attention to what I'm asking and not to how I am looking?" He said raising his eyebrows as he tossed the pen from one side to another.

"Well Mr.Aatish I do pay attention to my work but not when someone is ordering" I said equally raising my eyebrows at him. What the hell does he think of himself!!!??

"Well technically I'm your boss now for temporarily only but I'm. So this gives me the right to order" he said smirking. Oh yeah!!

"Technically you will be my boss but from Monday onwards and not from today. Because till Sunday my boss is Mr.Khan...so this clearly don't give you the right to order Mr.Aatish" I said innocently. Two can play this game Aatish!!

He wanted to say something but couldn't come with anything.

"Cat got your tongue Mr.Aatish?" I whispered.

"You do know Miss.Ahmed that this behavior of yours can even get you fired?" He said equally whispering.

"Then I should be worried about my job from Monday onwards. Because till Sunday if anyone can fire me then that will be Mr.Khan and I doubt he'll do this Mr.Aatish" I said again whispering. He glared and I glared back at him.

Soon our glaring was interrupted when someone came inside the conference room. I turned and it was none other than Sandy!! Wao...isn't this awesome?

"Uhh..so the meeting is still going on?? But where are others?" He asked looking around.

"What do you want Sandy?" I hissed.

"Did I disturbed you both?" He asked

Before I could say anything Mr.Aatish said. "Yes, you did disturbed us..now if you don't have anything important to say then you can leave" He said coldly.

"Enjoy Hoorain" he said in a flirting tone and went out.

"Looks like I've to get rid of some dirts" Mr.Aatish said staring at me.

"And looks like this office needs to get rid off some douche!!" I said sternly and walked out of that room. Cocky jerk!!
