I was late for the office...definitely that jerk would now shout at me. I kept on muttering things to myself!! Due to that, I got bumped into someone, just when I was about to enter the office building.

"Hey there, easy tiger..easy!!" Zain said.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't look." I said.

"It's okay, but why are you in a hurry?" He asked.

"I'm late...he's surely gonna sue me for this." I said.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. Chill" he said smiling. I nodded then we went on our separate ways. As soon as I reached my cabin, his sassy secretary was waiting for me.

"Wao, I didn't knew that you've also been assigned to welcome me!!" I commented.

"Oh please, get down from clouds!!" She said rudely.

"Watch your tone Missy, don't forget that who you are talking to" I said in a warning tone.

"Oh!! I know very well, you're that girl, who'll do anything to get close to the Boss, and you're the one who has a secret crush on our Boss, who dream of him every night!! And not to forget, your little stunt of getting scared so that he can touch you in the form of saving you!!" She said and I did what I should have done that day. I slapped her hard. It was so hard that the voice might have echoed. Even her glasses fell down and her tight bun opened.

"Miss.Ahmed" came a booming voice. I turned to find him standing, his nostrils flaring in anger. Woah!! Someone is possessive...I rolled my eyes.

"Sir sir, I don't want to work..she slapped me" Laila said fake crying. I again rolled my eyes.

"Have expected much more maturity from you" he said sternly.

"That's why we say never expect too much or else you'll fall on your face!!" I said

"Laila, out now!!" He said looking at me. She hurriedly went out. "What did you just do?"

"It wasn't my fault!!" I said.

"I saw what happened"

"Then why are you asking?" I asked.

"This is not the way to behave with my secretary!!" He said, my temper rose!!

"And the way she behaved with a Manager is just too perfect. Right?" I said folding my arms.

"You're just over reacting." He said.

"Yeah, I am because she said inappropriate things about me and I'll never tolerate that. You know what to hell with your secretary, with you and to hell with this job!!" I shouted.

"Miss.Ahmed, you're not allowed to speak like that. I'm your boss!!"

"No more, I'm resigning this instant" I said with equal anger.

"You're not allowed to resign. You've signed the contract at the beginning of this year" he said.

"Don't give a damn about it!! What more can you do if I'll leave this job and you, put me in jail or file a case against me?? Do whatever you want, but I'm leaving your job" I said pointing at him and the next thing I knew, I was pinned to the wall.

"Say once more also about leaving me and you'll regret your words and I'll personally make sure of it!!" He said his eyes blazing in anger.

"Who the hell are you to say that?? You're no one!!" I yelled.

"Oh chicken!! You definitely don't want to hear the answer..." He said

"And what if I say, Yes" I dared him.

"Are you daring me!!"

"Why? Got scared..."

"Trust me, you'll be the one who'll get scared!!" He said and left. I hate my life!!! I screamed internally.

After like working for five hours straight, he called me.

"Come in" he said.

"You called me?" I asked in a bored tone.

"Where's my coffee?" He asked without looking at me.

"Coffee??" I asked in a confused tone.

"I drink coffee at this time, don't I??" he said turning some pages.

"Well, then you called the wrong person" I said.

"No, I didn't!!" He said looking at me.

"I'm not your secretary, Sir." I said

"So?"

"So...I wasn't told to do half of your secretary work, when I was assigned for the Manager post!!" I said giving him a sweet smile.

"Listen-" he was about to say something when Miss.Laila decided to interrupt him.

"Sir, your car is here. We have a meeting in half an hour over lunch" she said looking at her wrist watch.

"You're coming with us and I hope the presentation is ready which I gave you yesterday...after all that was your job to do" he mocked, standing up.

We waited for the elevator to come. When it came, he went inside first then his secretary ran inside just behind him and stood beside him. I nodded my head, then went inside. We got out of the elevator, his driver had already opened the back gate for him, he got in and just like elevator, Laila pushed me and went inside the car.

"Sorry" she said and closed the door. I gave him a sour smile.

"Miss" the driver said opening the passenger side door for me.

"Thank you" I said and got in. He was looking at me with a very weird expression from the back seat.

After driving for about twenty five minutes, we reached our destination. This hotel had an open parking. We all got down, and Laila was standing beside him like a leech.

We had just entered the hotel when I realized, that we have forgot the files in the car. I told them to go, I'll bring them. I went out of the hotel, and started walking towards the parking. Since, it was an open parking...every way seemed the same.

After going round and round in one direction only, I found the car. I sighed...it was parked in the car, and there was no car there, in fact there was no one...that part was deserted. I quickly started walking towards the car.

I was about to reach the car when the car suddenly blew up. The impact of the force was so much that I fell down on the other side.

"Heeeelllllppppp" I screamed loudly. The car was now in flames. I was breathing hard and was shaking badly.

"Miss.Ahmed, you alright?" He came running towards me.

"Yo-yo-your Car, blew up su-su-suddenly" I stammered pointing towards the car, where there were many guards now, trying to stop the fire.

"My Car?? What are you talking about? That wasn't my car" he said and I turned.

"That was your car...I saw with my own eyes!!" I was now crying.

"But Miss, our car was parked right in front of the gate...and I was there sitting in the car, the whole time. In fact, I saw you going in the opposite direction, I even called you..." Driver said. Now, I was more confused!!

"You're bleeding" he shouted. I didn't care about that.

"Trust me, Sir, I'm not lying" I said...

"Shhh...Calm down!! We need to go to the hospital" He said wiping my tears.
