The train wheels screeched as the conductor put on the breaks. Coper woke up when she heard the wheels, she noticed that Willow was grabbing hers and Copers bags.
"Well, did you sleep well, you slept for 12 hours, I only slept 5 hours. I watched Netflix the rest of the way."
" wow I can't believe I slept that long! We should get of the train before it takes of again."
Coper and Willow stepped of the train and walked over to the caribou coffee shop.
" I have never been to caribou, one of my friends from back home loved it, she came here on vacation one year."
" You have never lived if you have not had caribou, coffees on me."
After they had purchased there coffee they went and started walking around beautiful Duluth. After they did a little shopping they decided to walk along the shore.
" So in while you should probably get a ride and go to Minneapolis to do what ever you need to do, I wish not to hold you back from you business."
" You're not holding me back, I come here to Minnesota once a year and stay for one month, I don't have to go to the city till the end of the month. In the mean time I can stay in Duluth and keep you company."
" That is so nice, maybe you can help me find one of my moms old friends, her name is Catherine Marth."
" Wait a minute, this may sound a little crazy but that's my mother."
"Wow, so by any chance do you know where she lives?"
"Well, I'm not sure I have not seen her in a long time, my parents are divorced. But I can look her up and see where she lives."
" You are so amazing! Well we should probably get a hotel room, you should pick since you know this place better."replied Coper.
" We shall stay at the Edge Water Hotel, it's a very nice place, it has a water park inside, I will go call them."
Willow went to book a hotel room for the two of them, and Coper stumbled across an old key. She did not know what it went to but she kept it anyway.
" well we have a room, it's ready right now if you want to go."
"Yah lets go and get unpacked, then maybe later we come back to the shore and look for treasures."
" that sounds great!"
The two of them jumped into Willows rental car and drove. It was bout a twenty minute drive from the shore to the hotel. As they pulled into the parking lot, Coper, out of the corner of her eye she noticed a man in black and white mask. As soon as she noticed the man he drove away in his Mini Cooper. She thought he may have just wanted to freak her out, but it did not work.

After about a half hour Coper and Willow finally got up to there room, there was about 10 people checking in at the same time it was insane how busy it was. The girls unpacked there bags and in unison they jumped on there beds with a sigh of relief.
It was about 9:00 now and the girls were watching an episode of Arrow, it was Copers favorite show. Then there was someone knocking at the door. Willow insisted on answering it, she opened the door and there was a basket of mini muffins outside the door. She grabbed it, brought it in and set it on the table. Coper jumped up and was going to grab one of the muffins.
Willow slapped the muffin out of her hand.
" what was that for!" Said Coper.
" how do you know that muffin is not poisoned, you should not eat things that randomly show up at your door. I'm bringing them to the DPD tomorrow. No questions about it."
She got in bed, closed her eyes and said nothing the rest of the night. Afterwards Coper also went to bed.
