Jordan's pov

That night I stayed at Dan's house, cause i needed a break from all this, stuff....

"Come on , let's out and watch a movie or something" Dan tells me

"Dan, I kinda just want to stay here and chill" I tell him.

"No , we are not staying here. Cause right now , you really need to get out , and go to a party or something" Dan tells me.

"Fine, Fine we can go out" I tell him as i stand up off the couch.

Dan heads to the door and waits for me to follow him. I sigh and follow him as we walk out the door.

As we exited the building I felt a cold drift of wind hit me.

I lightly shivered.

But something in me , told me that it wasn't just the wind that gave me the shivers.

As we walked down the dark and empty roads.

We crossed under a bridge.

Third person

As the boys passed under the bridge, when then moved from under it.

3 dark figures jumped from the edge of the bridge, landing on the road. With a perfect landing and without making a sound.

They followed behind them.

Then Dan glared back behind them and lightly frowned as he knew this would end with a fight.

Dan stopped and looked at Jordan.

"Get behind me" he told Jordan as he gave him a questioning look.

Then the 3 figures pulled out white glowing swords.

"You want him, you get threw me" Dan says as they get closer.

"Dan what are you talking about , I don't see anything" Jordan complains.

"Because your a Mundane. It's what we call humans, you can't see them because they invisible, it's called glamour" Dan tells Jordan.

"What do you mean by only WE can see them" Jordan nervously asks him.

Dan looks back at him.
With sad and scared eyes.

"I didn't want you to find out this way" Dan says.

"Find out what" Jordan was particle shouting now.

Dan forms then opens his mouth, and reviles to Jordan his fangs.

"Your a vampire" Jordan says, shocked.

"Yep ,now get back" Dan says as he pulls out a similar sword and charges for them.

                       Jordan's pov
Dan went to battle and I ran off.

I hide behind a corner, in a very dark alley(FLASH) way.

I leaned on the wall and slowly fell the to ground.

I signed.

Then I heard someone turn the corner.

Then I saw a girl, about my age, with orange hair, a sword, and she looked kinda badass.

"Please don't hurt me in innocent" I beg.

She kneels down beside me.

"I won't hurt you. My name is Clary fairchild. I am a shadow hunter" She tells me.

"Do... You kill shadows" I ask. Scared that she, or they might go after Will.

"Huh? No , well yes but only the bad ones. And it's not just shadows, we go after maybe different things. I don't have time to explain but all I can say it the legends are true, a lot of those scary myths about werewolfs and vampires are true. There is much more but right now we need to get out of here" She tells me as I stand up.

"I can't leave Dan" I tell her.

"He's coming don't worry" she tells me..
