< Will's pov >

Yesterday was the best, but that was the past. Jordan's meeting up with his friends today. He wanted me to stay here. He doesn't want me to get caught or noticed by anyone, so I'm just chilling in his house, for the entire day..

Okay, I fought with Jordan before he left.

< flashback >

"Babe, wait up," I say as I wrap my arms around him and kiss him. We hold each other for a second or two.

"So you know you have to stay in the house, right?" He asks me as he puts his shoes on.

"Yes Mum," I answer sarcastically.

"Come on, last thing I need is for you to get caught or something. Just stay here. And if my mom comes home, run," he giggles as he plants a kiss on my cheek then waves as he closes the door behind him. I sigh as I flop on the couch. I watched TV for the morning but got bored.  I thought I'd adventure through Jordan's house. I've been through his entire house-

Well, except for his basement..

I smile as I walk down the steps. I flip a switch and turn the lights on.

It's a pretty empty basement: stone floor, bar walls. I look around, and drag my hand on the wall as I walk around the room, but I jump back when my hand starts to burn.

It happened when I touched a certain part of the wall. I go up and touch it again, but black smoke comes as I touch it.

"What the heck.." I say as I feel a wall near it, and it feels just fine. So it's this one part of the wall.

I hold my hand close to the wall and say a barrier spell that should let me in, or at least touch the wall, as I do have some "special" abilities. But I get blown back.

"This.... This can't be, it only thing that can be doing this is elder light magic. But... That magic hasn't been used in forever.. So why is it here?" I ask as I move my hand around, sending an arrow of darkness at the wall.

Then an almost door shape appears on the wall. It turns a brownish-golden colour. I shot another arrow of darkness as a golden explosion comes out. I fly into the wall.

I huff and puff as I stand up and see a door has opened.

"Woah," I say as I look through the entrance of the door. "What is this place..?" I ask as I walk through the door and enter a pretty big library. A secret one.

I spin around and see this place, cob webs and old books lay everywhere in the room, giant book shelves filled with books. I look around and see a desk with a book wide open. I walk close to it and then the words glow golden.

I close the book and step back in shock when I see what the title is.

"This.. Th- This can't be.." I say as I flip through a bunch of pages. Why was this book even down here? My thoughts end when I see a page that catches my eye.

The Golden Heart is a light person who was sent to earth to destroy each and every shadow person. He is known of having golden hair and a matching pair of golden eyes. He does not know of his powers at first, unless told of, but he will soon discover them, and when he does, no shadow person stands a chance against him.

The Golden Heart is said to have a heart of pure gold, hence his title. He is a rare person; many aspire to be like the Golden Heart, as in the ancient myths told about him. He knows nothing of the past events between Shadow Peoples and Light Peoples.

No one is suppose to know of the Golden Heart's identity. We are not even allowed to write of who he is in this book. There is only one copy of this book on the earth.

To whomever finds this book, keep it in a secluded area where no one can find it. Especially those pesky Shadow Peoples; for if they find out the Golden Heart's identity, they will track him down and destroy him.

The Golden Heart is none other than:

Jordan Bayani.

I gasp as the book falls from my hands, hitting the ground.

Jordan is the Golden Heart....

The one every single shadow person fears.....

salty: you just shattered my heart. i'm all like "will what do you do?! do you tell jordan?! keep it a secret?! keep him safe?! leave him?!" then i remembered i'm writing the next chapter so i get to pick. lol.
