It was a usual day in my life. The life of Jordan Bayani.

I woke up, then got ready and made my way to the hospital, because I visit my sister in the hospital once a week. Unfortunately, she's dying of cancer. As I walk down the steps, I see the usual: my mom laying on the couch with some random guy. I grab my jacket and hop in my car, then make my way to the hospital.

After I walk out of the hospital from seeing her, I decide to take a short cut through this alley(Flash)way I've known.

I begin to think as I walk down the street.

I turn a corner and start walking down the alleyway. When I'm almost half way through the alley, I see an area of the brick wall was turning a dark purple. It then started to swirl, and something - or someone - flew out of it.

I began to run down the alley, but got blinded by the sunlight in my eyes. I took a step back into the shadows.

Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I spin around and fall back. I see, a boy? He looks like he's from an old black and white movie, except he has a bit of color. He has a black hoodie on and some dark gray jeans, and his hair is dark brown, but he has his hood on so I can't really see his hair.

"W- Who are you?" I ask, siting up a bit but still on the ground. "What are you..?" I ask. I move back, still in the sun. "Show yourself!" I say.

"I-I can't come any closer," he softly says.

"Why, afraid of the sun?" I joke with him.

"Yeah" he replies. My eyes go wide, but then back to normal. "I would burn.." he tells me as I get to my feet.

"Prove it" I command.

"O- Okay," he says as he moves slowly to the sun light. He stops and moves his hand. He moves it slowly into the light, but when he does I could see it start to burn. "Ouch!" he says as he pulls his hand back into the shadows. "I'm Will," he introduces himself as he walks deeper into the shadows. I follow him until I am in the shadows him.

"I'm Jordan," I tell him. "W- What are you?" I ask him.

"I'm a Shadow Boy."..........
