[Twenty Six]

Hoseok woke to the beeping sound of the washing machine approximately half an hour into their nap on the couch. His back was pressed against Yoongi and the older was holding him tightly in his arms, their legs intertwined. Hoseok fidgeted, trying to get up.

"Nooo." Yoongi protested, pulling him back.

"I have to put the clothes in the dryer. You want your clothes don't you?"

"Nooo." the older groaned again.

"Really?" Hoseok questioned mischievously.

Yoongi opened his eyes and was greeted by Hoseok wiggling his eyebrows. "Shut up."

"And, I quote, 'My name is Min Yoongi and I no longer want to wear clothes.'," Hoseok teased as he managed to get free. "I'm going to keep that in mind."

"I didn't--"

"DIRECT QUOTE!," Hoseok taunted on his way to the laundry closet.

Hoseok emptied the washing machine, tossed the clothes in the dryer, changed the heat settings and turned around to see that Yoongi had followed him, still burritoed in the comforter.

"Pancakes," came a muffled demand.

An hour later, the two were huddled on the couch having (successfully, this time) cooked the chocolate chip pancakes and were in the middle of watching a movie. It was Yoongi's pick: The Man from Nowhere.

Yoongi glanced at the younger, whose eyes were wide, lips mid-pancake-bite. He was staring at the screen and clearly mesmerized by the scene. The main character, on a mission to rescue a little girl from a drug-trafficking ring, effortlessly disarmed eight men and, in a matter of moments, left them all out of commission.

"If anything happens to the little girl, I am ending it all."

"Have you never seen this movie? It several years o--"

"SHHH" Hoseok flailed his arm wildly and took another bite of his pancake as he nervously watched the screen.

Yoongi couldn't help but smile as he put his arm around the younger and pulled him closer.

After the movie, Yoongi helped clean up the dishes while Hoseok grabbed their clothes from the dryer.

He turned with a disappointed expression to the older, "Everything's dry if you need to get going."

"Are you kicking me out?" Yoongi exaggerated a pout.

"No, but don't you have work early again tomorrow?"

"Well, today was the first day to test out switching to a morning shift. Tomorrow will be the same as usual until Jin decides to officially change my schedule. Technically, I'm all yours until noon. I mean, I'll have to go home to sleep, but tomorrow we can--"

"Or you could just stay." Hoseok blurted.

"Wha--"

"You're wearing my pajamas and we've already figured out how to comfortably sleep next to each other."

"O-okay." Yoongi was dumbfounded.

"The only thing is..." began Hoseok as he interlaced his fingers together and rested his hands on the kitchen counter, "I don't just invite strange men to stay the night. You're gonna have to be my boyfriend." He raised an eyebrow as if he'd made a particularly enticing offer in a negotiation meeting.

Yoongi tried to keep a straight face while gesturing his own hands, as if in a counter-offer. "Hold on, hear me out. I can't just stay at a strange man's apartment. I think for this to work, you'd have to be my boyfriend."

"Excellent. Come make out with me, boyfriend." Hoseok giggled on the way to his bedroom.

Yoongi simply followed with a giant gummy smile plastered on his face.
