[Thirteen]

Jin offered for Yoongi to head out early as thanks for providing the extra two hours of help before opening, but Yoongi decided to stay until the end of his usual shift. The night had been very busy for Yoongi. Jin wasn't exaggerating when he complained about the size of the group reservation. Yoongi ran back and forth all night between the kitchen and their tables, bringing out new courses and clearing away empty dishes in a seemingly endless cycle. He was not used to the cardio and prayed for a quick and painless death.

"Thank you for coming, have a beautiful night." he tried to recite Jin's required salutation without conveying how tired he was as he walked out the last trio of customers.

He closed and locked the door, slumped forward, and rested his head on the cool oak surface.

"Guys, seriously - THANK YOU." came Jin's voice from the entry to the dining room. "It's never been so busy on a weekday. C'mon I made some dinner for you."

"Yessss!" cheered an excited Jungkook, as if this didn't happen all the time. "Seokjin hyung: a fucking hero!"

"Watch your language!" Jin shot back as they walked into the kitchen.

For the next few minutes, Jin stood and watched as his brothers ate their meal appreciatively. They all turned when the door to the kitchen opened up, revealing a very focused Namjoon. His eyebrows furrowed together as he tried to get through the double doors while holding a shopping bag and resting a sleeping toddler on his hip. He nodded toward the three in the kitchen. Yoongi and Jungkook waved a 'hello', meanwhile...

"AHH! My loves!," Jin stage-yelled and ran with arms waving above his head to hold the door for the pair, kissing first his sleepy adopted daughter on the back of the head and then pecking his husband on the lips. "How was she today?"

"Bora [i looked up a name that means purple 보라 💜] was such a trooper. She did really well through most of her checkup - although she did cry for you when she had to get her shot. At one point, she actually began threatening the pediatrician with you," Namjoon chuckled.

"Awww." Jungkook cooed between bites of his dinner.

"My poor sweet jellybean!" Jin fretted, taking the child and cuddling her back to sleep in his arms. "What's in the bag?"

Namjoon's eyes darted away, full of guilt. "I may or may not have taken her to get cupcakes after the checkup. She cried and I was devastated. Don't worry I only gave her a little bit and it was after her dinner."

After hearing cupcakes, Jungkook perked up. "Hyung, there are enough left for me, right??"

Yoongi's jaw hung open, "How could you possibly eat more?"

Jungkook simply answered with a bunny smile and a scrunch of his nose as he reached into the cupcake bag.

Yoongi shook his head and, while doing so, caught Namjoon's eye. Namjoon who was grinning, almost creepily.

"Jinnie tells me that you have a stalker."

Yoongi grumbled, taking his as well as Jungkook's dishes to the sink to clean up before he left work.

"OHH!" Jin exclaimed before remembering he was holding his sleeping daughter and switched to a softer tone. "Ohhh. You're going to see him tomorrow, right? Why don't you take the day off?"

"Hyung-"

"No, really. You overworked yourself today. You're no good to me if you don't get some rest." Jin winked, as it was already decided. "Take the day off. Joonie can come in tomorrow instead. Bora can spend the afternoon with grandma?" he looked to his husband, who nodded in agreement.

"Excuse me, here I was thinking that I had free will and control over my adult life." Yoongi jeered, throwing his bag over his shoulder.

"Nah." Namjoon winked.

Jin excitedly whispered, "Go getcho man!" as the younger waved goodbye and walked out the door.
