Hoseok saw him through the window, sitting in his usual spot. This time he had two orders of coffee, just like he'd said. He pushed through the door of the coffee shop and heard the familiar chime above the doorway.

"Min Yoongi!" he beamed.

"Hey," said Yoongi with a small smile. "Vanilla latte, as requested. Ahhh - you have work don't you? I didn't think to order it in a takeout cup."

"Thanks and don't worry. I can ask them for a cup later. My class starts in twenty minutes, but I'll need to head over there to set up soon. What about you? What is your day looking like?"

"My hyung gave me the day off. I'll probably hang out here for a bit and work on some music, but not sure what I'll do after." said the older, taking a sip of his coffee.

After the older had set his mug back on the table, Hoseok picked up both mugs. "Wait a second," he instructed and walked toward the counter.

He returned with their coffees transferred into disposable to-go cups. "Walk me to work."

The two walked together sipping their drinks quietly. The shorter had his chin tucked low and hand clenched around the shoulder strap of his bag and the taller was looking up at the sky, shoulders back and smiling brightly. Despite their opposite demeanors, their steps were perfectly in sync. Hoseok noticed this and mentally did a cartwheel.

They approached the entrance to the studio. Now or never, thought Hoseok.

"So... Yoongi?' he began.

"Yeah?"

" Ah... I just need to ask- Is it okay if I take you on a date after work?" his voice trembled, something that never happened to him before. "I - My class is over at 3:00... and I do owe you for the coffee now."

Yoongi stared at him and the faint whisper of fear in Hoseok's mind began to find its voice. He continued, "I know I barely know you. But isn't that part of dating? To get to know someone? It's okay if you don't want to."

"No, I do." the older replied smiling.

"Really?!"

"Yeah. Where do you want to go?"

"I'll surprise you," Hoseok answered, a grin sweeping across his face. "I need to set up for my class now. You go work on your music, relax, take a nap and I'll text you the address later. It'll be casual so come exactly as you are now."
