I knocked on the door shaking. I almost left when Charlie opened the door, he looked at me in shock

"Taini?"

"Hi, Uncle Charlie" I said quietly.

"Come in"

I walked into the house slowly, fearful.

"She's not here" he said relaxing me, noticing my hunched shoulders.

"I'm sorry" I started to say

"I have said it before and I'll say it again, I am and always will be your uncle"

"Yo, whaz up my homy" Fredric, or just Fred- a thin boy with red hair and a pale complexion, said joking around with his twin Augustine who we called George. They were like the Wesley twins. I looked around the familiar hallway that lead to a living room witch led to the rest of the house.

"Homy dog I do believe that the sun is up" George said acting smart.

"Boys" I called to them grinning, I had babysat them when they were younger and I adored them

"Tiani?" Fread's head shot up

"The one and only, oof" I said almost failing when they both ran to hug me.

"Where have you been?" George asked me

"Oh here and there" I said nurves as I had looked over to the stairs to see Wendy, my aunt, walking down. As soon as she saw me she froze.

"What are you doing here?" she finally said

"Wendy" Charlie started to say but before he could she ran over to my and hugged me. I froze not knowing what to do. I slowly hugged her back.

"You need to visit more often child" she pulled back smiling at me

"Can she stay for dinner?" Fred asked his mother pleading

"Please" George begged

"Charlie?" Wendy asked her husband

"Any time" He smiled

"So how many demons have you killed?" Fred asked excited as soon as we done eating. We sat in the living room and we were talking. As soon as Fred asked I felt my face pale and Charlie sucked in a sharp breath, and then:

"Alright boys, bed time" Wendy said

"But" Fred said

"Yes mother" George said having the sense not to fight with his mother. Wendy lead the kids to bed as I tried not to tear up.

"Taini?" Charlie asked

"Sorry" I said hoarsely "I" I stopped fighting to control my emotion "I, uh, almost didn't make it back" I said almost shaking.

"What?!" Wendy asked coming down stairs

"And all I could think about was how horrible I had been last time I saw you guys" I chocked at this point. Charlie and Wendy starid at me wile I tryed not to break down and cry, Wendy patted me on the back.

"What was it?" Charlie asked clearly mad

"It's dead" I said "I killed it"
