It was dewali week, so whole London team came India to celebrate the festival. The flight landed and the kids were so excited for Diwali celebrations, that forget all sadness. By the way, what is the reason to be sad, when whole family is with you. Sam was very excited kid, because he came India for the first time, when he was 2 they came, but now he is teen boy. He was jumping on the airport, but little did he know, the paparazzi were clicking their pics, because they are the Nigams.

Avu: stop Sam! Behave yourself. Don't jump like 5 years old kid.

He stop and saw the paparazzi were clicking his pics.

Sam: namaste India!

He did namaste in British accent, the reporters laugh at him. After some photos they finally went to their home, like Nigams to their, fainat to their, nandras and Mehra's to their respective homes, but ahan came with Nigams . Nigams enter their house, and saw it was same when they left for London.

Avu: it's same!

She whispered and got tears in her eyes.

Sid: I know, it's same.

Vibha: now no emotional dramas, and go and fresh up in your rooms.

Bua: wow! Yeh saal diwali apno wali.

Vibha and bua goes in their rooms, because before they were coming, Abhi told the famous ramu kaka to clean their respective rooms. Sidneet also went in their room, and saw Aavy and cookie's crib was still beside their bed.

Aavy and cookie shouts their mom and dad, why? Let's see.

Avu: what happen?

Aarshi: come In our room!

They both went.

Aavy: seriously? Are we gonna sleep in this crib?

Cookie: mommy! Were are grown up! How can we sleep.

Sam: guys! Tum dono ke pass room hai, crib hai, what I have? Nothing.....so where I am gonna sleep?

Aarshi: on floor, because dad is gonna order our beds tomorrow, and we will sleep in there.

Sam: I am gonna sleep with you both then!

Avu: kids! Clam. Sam you go and sleep with dadi, and you both.....Aavy and ahan will sleep with Krish, and cookie you go and sleep with Alia.

Aavy:....ummm

Sid: no ifs and buts! Sacrifice for today.

All three: ok!

In low voice, Sidneet exit the room, before going Sam shouts!

Sam: mommy! What about crackers?

Avu: we will go and buy tomorrow, now go and get fresh up.

Sam: unpack my luggage, and give me my comfy clothes.

Avu: you go first, I will give you.

He went and Aarshi sat down on the carpet, and start playing with their toys.

Aavy: this room is no use, because when we were months babies, we used to sleep with mom and dad, when we were, 4-5 we were in London's small house, when we are 18-19 we are same in London but in a very big house.

Cookie: shut up! What's all that when we were when we were! Huh!

All came down, after getting fresh up, they were sitting in hall. Avu was running behind Sam, because he is not drying his hairs.

Avu: Sam! Dey your hairs, you will catch cold!

Sam: in this hot weather of India.

Avu: baby! It's November, yaha sab ko thandi lagti hai.

Sam: November?

He shouts and all heads turn towards him.

Sid: yeh! It's November? So?

Sam: Christmas? We are going back to London, after this Diwali! Please...!

Aarshi: shut up Sam. Aaj hi aaye hai, aur jane ki baat.

Sam: because, you all know I love snow.

Sid: Sam! Behave and go dry your hairs....see mom is still standing behind you.

He was going to run, but she catches him and drag in her room. He suddenly hugs her.

Avu: what happen?

Sam: promise me that you will never leave me! Not for a single day.

Avu: I promise you! But suddenly all this?

Sam: just feel like to.

She crease his hairs, and kissed his head. Aarshi also enters the room and hugs her.

Avu: what's all this?

Aarshi: never leave us alone, not for a single day.

Avu: I will never leave you! I promise.

She sat on bed and these three kept their heads on her lap. Sam on left, cookie on right, and Aavy was on ground and kept his head in her lap.

Avu: so! What happen to you all?

She gets no response, she saw them and saw they three were sleeping peacefully. She stayed like that only, because she doesn't want her kids get disturb by her, Sid enters and saw how these three were sleeping. He smiled and sat behind Avneet.

Sid: what's all this?

Avu: I literally don't know! They just came and hugs me, and told promise me, that you will never leave them alone.

Sid: I love you all.

He kissed her cheeks, and then bends down and kissed three of them. He was going to wake them up, when Avneet stops him.

Avu: no' boht time baad aise soye hai. Let them sleep.

Sid: what about your legs?

Avu: I don't care, when they were in my tummy my legs were swollen, but also I keep them in, now they are just sleeping on my lap, for sometime so no problem.

Sid: you are the best mother and wife in this whole fucking world.

She smiled at him, and she pecks his lips. He lay down on bed, and sleep took over to him in 5 min.

Avu was sitting and sleeping, Aavy woke up, and saw her sleeping, he woke Sam and cookie, slowly, but Avneet woke up, when she doesn't find warmth on her legs.

Avu: what happen? Are you three ok?

Cookie: mom! You are so cute, and so nice, you sacrificed your sleep, just because we were sleeping on your lap.

Avu: it's ok! Come and sleep again, I was just day dreaming nothing else.

Aavy: sorry mom! Now you sleep, we will massage you legs.

Cookie: me your back.

Sam: and me, your head.

They three made her lay down and start giving massage to her body.

Avu: kids it's ok.

Cookie: no excuse! Sleep.

Sid woke up and saw Avneet was getting special treatment from kids, and smile at them.

Sam: dad! You awake, now you also sleep, after mom, it's you turn.

Cookie: yes! I will give you head massage, Aavy will do hand one.....

Sam cuts her off, and told

Sam: me! Legs.

Aavy: I am tired, I will go and sleep, in big b's room.

Avu: aavy! What's all this?

He was going to tell, but before that, he gets tight slap from his mother.

Avu: go from here.

He exit the room, Sam and cookie was just sitting, and Avneet shouts at them also.

Avu: you both also leave, close the door, and don't come inside until we call any one.

They both also went, and Sid hugs Avu, she did same.

Sid: calm down bae!

Avu: what Sid! Dekha hai Aavy ko, why he is behaving like this to you? He stays nice with me, and he doesn't care about you?

Sid: I understand! He is kid, kids do all these things in this age.

Avu: we never did!

Sid: generations! Now clam down and sleep.

They both lay down, and Sid hugs her waist and she kept her head on his chest and sleep took over to them.

Next day at evening, all family members were going to mandir, they went in 5 cars! They reached, and did all Pooja and were going back home, when Sam stop them.

Sam: dad! Crackers! Let's buy them.

He was very excited and without seeing the vehicles he was crossing, Avneet saw one truck was coming in speed, towards Sam, before it hits Sam, she pushed him and truck hits her.

Sid: Avneet!

He shouts, and whole family members saw her, the blood was coming out, from her head, Aavy saw her and rans towards her.

Aavy: mom! Open your eyes!

Sam was in shock, he didn't know what just happen, he saw his mother laying unconscious and blood on the floor. Cookie just leave all the things which were in her hands, and run towards her.

Cookie: mom! This is not fair! Yesterday you promise us! And today..!

Abhi: kids calm, move let us take her to the hospital.

Sid takes her in his arms, and made her lay in the back seat. Vaishu was sitting with her, and she tied some cloth on her head, for stopping the blood.

Sam came back in sense, and start finding his mother.

Sam: where is mommy?

Sonia: dad unko hospital leke gaye hai.

Sam: take me to her! She she can't leave us like this.

The whole family went to hospital, Aarshi and Sam was standing near the door, the doctors were examining her, after 30 min doctors came out. Sid rans to them, and ask

Sid: what happened? Is she out of danger? Tell me for god sake.

Doctor: mr Nigam! She is fine, but....

Aavy who listen this, he came and holds the doctors coat. Sid makes him leave his coat and hugs him.

Aavy: but what?

He start crying hugging his dad. Cookie and Sam came and hugs them.

Doctor: we can't say anything! Because she went in coma, we can't tell, she can wake up anytime, like tomorrow, day after tomorrow, 1 week, months, maybe years. Because she got really bad hurt on her head, and she lost so much blood.

The whole family was shocked, kids breakdown and start crying very badly.

Sam: just because of my stupid excitement, my mom is in hospital. I am not a good son. I don't deserve her, she deserves much better than me.

Sid was also going to break down, when Vibha told him.

Vibha: don't! They need you. If you will break down, who will take care of them.

She said pointing kids. He sat down on the floor, and gesture them to hug him. In no time they three hugs him. They three cried there heart.

Whole family was in tears, the happy family was in tears. Aavy ask his dad.

Aavy: can we meet her.

Sid: lets ask doctor. 

He makes them stand, and went towards the doctor cabin. 10 min Sid came out, and nodes their head. 

Sid: first, ammu you go!

Sonia: no' take them in.

She said, pointing towards kids, who were still peeping in the room. He just, sadly smiles and taken them in. The doctor was also inside.

Doctor: she can hear, and sense you, but don't give any stress.

He told this and went out, kids wo was just seeing her, with hope of eyes that, she will tell, Aavy! He is your dad! Behave. Sam was like "baby! Come here and eat your lunch" cookie was like " mom! What will I do without you, then, she will say, I am there na, don't worry"

Sid: kids! Meet her.

He told, almost in cry tone. Sam went near her, and holds her hand.

Sam: mom! Yesterday you promised us, you will never leave, how can you sleep.

Aavy goes near her, and crease her hairs, he kissed her forehead and told.

Aavy: how can you mom! You know what.....

Before he completes he again broke down, Sid goes and hugs him.

Aavy: dad! Tell her to wake up! I swear I will never fight with you again, please dad please tell her to wake up.

Cookie came and sat near her foot.

Cookie: mommy! Yesterday you promised us! Now you can't sleep like this, we came India to celebrate Diwali! You can't sleep whole day.

To Sid, it was very difficult situation, he has to handle kids, and handle himself, to not break down in front of kids. And last, he has to take care of his wife.

One by one, they met Avu, Abhinavi took kids home, but it was very difficult to separate mother and kids from each other. They theee were not listening, but Sid make them understand and send them home. Rochi was in hospital with Sid. Now he breaks down in front of Rohan, and hugs him.

Sid: I broke my promise! I broke, I told her that I will save her from all the problems but I break.

Rohan: no! You didn't! Sid clam down, if you will behave like this, what about Sam Aavy and cookie? They need you......I know it's very difficult time, but you have to be strong for kids, for Avu. When she will woke up and ask, did you take care of my babies? And especially yourself? What will you say.

Kanchi: see! Sid, we to can't see you and your kids this much sad. The happy family is in tears.

They both went home, Sid enters the room, and saw Avneet unconscious he sat on the stool present near the bed, he kept his head on her chest and started talking with her.

Sid: avu! You that when we fight when Aarshi was small, I saw a dream that you got hit by a car or something, but that bull shit dream comes true, you can't leave me alone in this world, don't think about me, think about our kids, Aavy that kid can't stay with out you for a sec, cookie who needs you in every min in her room, and Sam, he is to small Avneet, how can I handle him, you know he never listens to me, please wale up!

He kissed, he forehead and sleep took over him.

It was 2 am, kids escape the house, and book taxi to the hospital. They reached and saw Sid was sleeping on her, and kids also went inside the room, and pulls the couch near the bed, and sleep. Sam was on her shoulder, cookie on her stomach, and Aavy was sleeping on her legs.
