"Ashwin ippo nee andha contract la enna irundhuchu nu solla poriya illaya" Rakshan asked Ashwin once they settled on the couch in Ashwin's house.

Ashwin buried his face in his palms and sighed. "Na avala en fake girlfriend ha nadika sonnan da podhuma" Ashwin said frustation written all over his face. 

Shock would be an understatement for rakshan as he didn't expect this from his friend because he is not the type of person who do this kind of acts. "Dei enna da solra loosa da nee" 

"Enna vera enna da panna solra just think this from my situation" Ashwin said in a worried tone.

Ashwin's father Dhamu has given a deadline of two months for Ashwin's marriage, if he didn't marry a girl within that particular time period, he threatened him that after his natural retirement he would give all his properties and business to an orphanage. 

Dhamu very well know about Ashwin wish to take care of the business and he also knows that Ashwin won't do anything that would cause a problem for the business. As a typical father Dhamu wanted a woman who could truly love Ashwin and take care of him in his absence.

"Unaku 30 vayasu agudhu Ashwin edhana nalaiku ne ipdiyae iruka pora" Dhamu asked Ashwin about this many times but there was no response from Ashwin's side so he used the business as a trick to convince Ashwin and now it started working.

"Dei adhukaga our ponnu life la vilada poriya da" Rakshan asked still in a shock from Ashwin's confession. 

"Enaku vera vali therila da na idhana varisham kashta pattu build panna business adha  en keiya vitu ennala poga vida mudiyadhu" Ashwin said as he gulped a full glass of water from the table opposite to him.  

"Nanga one month onna irundhu apuram break up ana mari appa va namba vechita podhum, na apdiyae vex ana mari nadhicha adutha two year's ku avaru enna disturb panna mataru" Ashwin said to Rakshan who was keenly listening to him. Ashwin handovered the contract and the details of Sivaangi to Rakshan and asked him to read it.

"Ela okay andha ponnu idhuku othukanum la adhu epdi" Rakshan asked after reading the details in the file. 

"Adhu thaan periya task yae ava mudiyadhu nu than sollu va but namma epdiyavadhu avala convince pannanum da" Ashwin said as he got up from the couch and stretched his arm's. 

"Ena lam nadaka podho kadavulae un pulaiya ne thaan  kudavae irundhu kapathanum" Rakshan sighed mentally.

On the next day, Sivaangi was coming out of her college with Pavi in the evening after completing her classes. She was wearing a crimson coloured kurta with her eyes her kohled and hair pinned with a clutch. She noticed a pair of eyes gazing at her intently. 

Ashwin was leaning onto his brown Duster wearing a black T-shirt and jeans looking super handsome as all the girls passed him was drooling over him.

Ashwin approached Sivaangi and said "Hi". Sivaangi stopped over her tracks, glared at him and maintained a straight face hiding her amusement  seeing his ever charming face. 

"Idho parunga thirumba adha pathi en kitta pesa varadhinga, I am not interested" Sivaangi said before Ashwin could say anything. 

"Sivaangi, please give me a chance to explain my perspective" Ashwin pleaded."pakathula iruka cafe la poi vukandhu pesalamae please" Ashwin asked as  Sivaangi remained silent. 

Sivaangi gave up seeing his worried face, somehow she couldn't see him like that. "Okay " she said.

"Enna di avanum pesanum solran neeyum okay solra enna nadukudhu enaku theriyama" Pavi said which was only audible to Sivaangi.

 "Aii nee vittuku po na vandhu solran" Sivaangi said adjusting her hair. "Ohh apdiya seri na poran ma nee pesitu va"Pavi said with a teasing smile and left from there. 

"Iva vera vishiyam theriyama kadupethura" Sivaangi mentally rolled her eyes at the disappearing figure of Pavi. All this while as usual Rakshan was sitting in the car watching the scenario.

"Sollunga" Sivaangi said looking at Ashwin as the waiter went aside after noting their order. Ashwin smiled a little after seeing her being calm. "First of all thank you for accepting my invite" Ashwin said looking into her eyes and Sivaangi nodded in return.

Ashwin started explaining everything to her about the situation in order as he prepared before meeting her. Sivaangi listened to him while sipping the juice he ordered for them. 

"Sivaangi please enakaga indha oru help mattum pannunga, this will be a benefit for both of us" Ashwin said after narrating everything to her. Sivaangi took a long breath and sighed. 

She was not in a mood to argue with him so she said "Enaku konjam time venum" to escape from the situation. Ashwin's face brightened immediately after hearing her reply. 

"Thank you Sivaangi thank you so much" Ashwin said with a smile and placed the contract on the table. "please take this with you and think about it, I'll be waiting for your answer and I also attached the details about me" Ashwin said expecting her to take it. "Okay fine" Sivaangi said and kept the file inside her bag as she stood up to leave. 

"Thank you once again and bye" Ashwin said smiling at her. She nodded her head and left the place thinking about what he said. 

Ashwin hugged Rakshan once he reached out of his car. "Enna da othukitala" Rakshan asked seeing a happy Ashwin. "Illa da but othukuva nu enaku nambikai vandhuduchu" Ashwin said grinning ear to ear.

"Baby steps macha" Ashwin exclaimed.

Sivaangi entered the house and sighed in relief seeing the empty hall. She quickly went inside her room and locked it. She threw her bag on the bed as she removed her clutch and collected her hair into a bun. She went inside the washroom and refreshed herself.

Once she sat on the bed. Her eyes automatically looked at her bag. She unzipped it and took out the red coloured file which held the contract.

She looked at the file for a brief moment but instead of opening it, She kept it on her study table and walked out of the room to have something to eat. She noticed Pavi sitting on the couch scrolling her phone. Sivaangi silently peeked into the kitchen and took out the Macaroons from the box and kept it on two plates. 

Sivaangi kept the plates on the table in front of the couch and sat next to Pavi looking at her. "Pavi" she tapped her shoulder.

"Solunga madam" Pavi said with a teasing look as she turned her attention to Sivaangi. "Na solradha porumaiya kelu, kova padadha please" Sivaangi showed her puppy face. 

"Seri sollu dii enna nadakudhu ungalukula haan.." Pavi asked her. Sivaangi took a long breath and explained everything to her. "Nee enna loosa avanta poi yosichu solran nu solitu vandhuruka" Pavi said.

 "Aii iru dii na thaan okay sollalayae apuro enna" Sivaangi replied. 

"Ennamo pannu na sonna kekava pora ana idhu serila" Pavi chied and left to her room. Sivaangi huffed and got ready for her part-time job.

Once she reached the Pharmacy, she greeted the shop owner and started her work. Sivaangi was sincerely doing her work and it was almost past nine, the closing time of the shop. 

When she was about to pack her things and leave, She heard a familiar voice asking "Thalavali ku tablet kedaikuma" she turned from her position and saw him standing with his lips curved up into a cute smile. 

Sivaangi turned and walked towards the rack which had different medicines and took the needed one. She gave it to him hiding her smile that could pop out anytime and said "Fifteen rupees achu" looking at his hands. 

"Thank you once again" Ashwin said passing the money and left from there. An unknown smile crept at Sivaangi's lips on seeing his disappearing figure. 

Sivaangi rolled on her bed thinking about the day's happenings. At times she feels happy about him but sometimes she feels confused. She slowly drifted into sleep thinking about Him and the contract.

Ashwin stopped his car in front of her college and got down. Ever since Sivaangi said she need time to think he has been waiting for her in the same place every day and it's been a week now. 

Today too Sivaangi came out of the college with Pavi beside her. On seeing him she whispered something to Pavi and Pavi nodded at her. Ashwin had a surprised expression when he saw Sivaangi walking in his direction. 

"Cafe la vukandhu pesalama" Sivaangi said as she stood in front of him. Ashwin nodded at her as a smile danced on his lips. 

Sivaangi took the contract out of her bag and kept it on the table while Ashwin ordered juice for them. "So Sivaangi..." Ashwin hesitated to ask. 

"Okay" Sivaangi said keeping a straight face. 

"Okay?" Ashwin asked not believing.

"Okay" Sivaangi said looking into his eyes.

"But with some conditions" Sivaangi added. Ashwin was on cloud nine hearing her. "Fine Sivaangi ennanu sollunga" Ashwin said with a smile.

1. I don't need your money.

2. I want a roof to stay until I am being your girlfriend sorry fake girlfriend 

Sivaangi said with a sarcastic smile that was missed by Ashwin.

Actually, Sivaangi had no idea of telling okay to him. One day when she came after her job she heard Pavithra speaking on her phone seriously. "Appa please Sivaangi will stay here only until she gets a good job and she doesn't have anyone with her" Pavi was speaking to her father. Pavithra was also from a middle-class family. Staying in an apartment that too in Chennai was difficult for her to manage. 

Pavithra's father couldn't pay rent for the house as Sivaangi was also staying there. Pavithra didn't confront about this to Sivaangi as she knew about her situation. Sivaangi too thought of compensating for this in future after getting settled but after hearing her she got disturbed. 

 After that when she entered her room the first thing that caught her attention was the red file. Sivaangi looked at the file for a brief moment but this time she actually opened it. Sivaangi didn't sleep the whole night thinking about it. 

At last in the morning she convinced herself that doing this is fine but some part of her didn't accept it as it involves getting money. That's why she decided to ask him about this favour instead of money. She also said her decision to Pavithra. At first, she didn't accept it but Sivaangi convinced her saying she is fine.

"Enaku endha problem illa Sivaangi until you are fine" Ashwin said sighing in relief. "And regarding the stay, you can stay at my house" Ashwin added.

"What?" Sivaangi asked steadily looking at him. "Yeah you don't need to worry about it, na mattum than anga stay panran sometimes my friend will visit" Ashwin said seeing her shocked reaction.  

Sivaangi thought for a minute as she knew about Ashwin that he is not a girl-type person and seeing him for the past two weeks he didn't behave wrong with her or anyone else.

"Fine" Sivaangi said.

"Super then tomorrow I'll come and pick you up from your place and thank you so much Sivu sorry Sivaangi, this means a lot to me" Ashwin clicked his tongue. Sivaangi mentally smiled hearing her name from him. Strangely she always felt a comfortness around him, she don't know why so she just shrugged it off. 

Ashwin hugged Rakshan once he reached out of his car. "Enna da othukitala" Rakshan asked seeing a happy Ashwin. "Ama da" Ashwin exclaimed lifting Rakshan in air.

"Dei dei vidra" Rakshan shouted.
