CHAPTER 1
CHAPTER 1: 'Its a long story actually_'
Ivy's P.o.v
"Ivy!!!"
I found myself in the middle of a dark forest, a very familiar scene I had gotten used to so well. I had no idea how I got there and why I was there but one thing on my mind was getting to know who the man in my dream was. Yes him, he was always the reason why I ended up here.
I looked around again but all I could see were trees and mostly darkness, even the moon was no where to be found. I even tried running or escaping from my trance or maybe imagination, but where would I go, I had no idea where I would end up in.
Suddenly, I started to sense something. I turned towards the direction of the sound of rustling dried leaves, except, there weren't any one there. But still, I knew he was somehow close by. I could only feel his presence, nothing less than that.
'This is my chance. Just a little glimpse and there I'm good to go, I will finally get to know who he was.' I thought hopefully.
As soon as they got nearby or closer to me, I tilted my head backwards to catch a glimpse like I planned, but I met a gun pointed to my face instead. Immediately the trigger was pulled, I heard my name once again, a bit louder this time.
"Ivy!"
Terror-stricken, I opened my eyes instantly, out of fear of getting killed in my own dream. Adrenaline flooded through my spine and my heart pumped and beat like it was going to explode, while I held on to my chest as if trying to prevent it from escaping.
Looking around my surroundings, I let out a sigh of relief, it was just a dream. Always a dream. My own imagination and nothing less than that. Still immersed in my own thoughts, as I kept wondering why and the reason behind the same nightmare, my sister's voice rang through my ears causing me to jerk off my bed immediately and head towards the bathroom in high speed.
"Ivy! We are running late and I'm so gonna kill you if I miss Miss Kennedy's class again." And there came the usual empty threats. Typical Kella yelled at the top of her voice, hitting the innocent door at the same time. After a few attempts of trying to break my door perhaps, I could hear her stomping her foot down the stairs angrily, probably tired of doing so.
Somehow, I managed to get dressed in less than five minutes and hurriedly made my way down the stairs barefooted, holding my shoes on one hand and my bag on the other. Getting ditched again wasn't how I planned to spend my horrible Monday morning.
I gulped my tea as fast as I could before throwing the cup carelessly into the kitchen sink, ignorant of the outcome of breaking one of my mum's favorite cups.
"Ivy! We are leaving!" My mother sang from the porch as usual and headed towards the car along with my sisters. Oh no you don't!
Once again with a higher speed, I ran out of the house like it was my only chance albeit still barefooted, and headed towards the car making sure she (my mother) didn't get there before me. Quickly, I started putting on my white converse, ignoring the usual staring daggers and glares my sisters were shooting at me.
Okay Ivy! Let's get this over with.

I had my first nightmare at the age of five. Then, I was taken for several therapies but later stopped after a tragic incident occurred. My mother still believes they are just ordinary imaginations I made up from the scary horror movies I sneaked out to watch with my sisters. Or moreover, could be just a typical bad dream.
But one thing strange about this so-called normal bad dreams is that they never stop. The same nightmare keeps appearing once in awhile, giving me sleepless nights. I tried, we all tried looking for the true reasons behind this strange dreams but still couldn't find a clue.
One thing I knew for sure, this dreams couldn't be just mere made-up imaginations. Somehow, I believe it must be trying to tell me something, maybe trying to reveal something I should know, and my hope as always being that someday, I'll get to find out what it is.
Opening the door to my math class slightly, I tiptoed into the noisy classroom, ignoring the different pairs of eyes and whispers I got while trying my best not to distract Mrs Williams, my math teacher, who was already scribbling some notes on the white board.
Trying as much as possible to avoid eye contact with anyone, I looked down to the ground and passed a few desks before finally reaching my allocated seat. But just as I was about to settle down__
"Miss Raven!" An angry voice shirked, stopping me dead on my tracks. The high pitched voice happened to be that of no other person than my worst nemesis, Mrs Williams.
