Recap: Veera gets to know the knew avatar of Kanmani later he convince her and seek her acceptance for marriage.

Veera watched as Kanmani looked straight into his eyes but didn't speak a word to answer his question about marriage. Veera moved a strand of hair behind her ear and snaked his hand around her waist with a little fear that she might go all crazy on him and even slap but she did nothing like that.

Veera: Do you love me Kanmani ? Don't lie me because I know you do so tell me do you want to get us married one day ?

Kanmani: Why do you ask me a question when you know the answer already ?

Veera: Sila vishayangal therinjalum kekka romba sandhoshama irukkum. Nanum konjam sandhosha padrene...ippo sollu kalyanam pannikalama ? ippove 28 ayiduchu di enakku, ivlo naal sollikamale love pannom ippo konja naal therinji love pannalam apram marriage pannikalam. seriya ?

( Somethings gives more happiness when said even if we know its existence. Let me also feel that happiness so tell me shall we get married ? I m already 28 and we loved without even confessing to each other, now lets love for some days after confession then we shall get married. is it ok ?)

Kanmani: Veera, ore kelvi dhan. theriyama love pannum podhu un amma kooptanganu enna vittu poita, ippo therinji love pannum podhu unga amma enna venam sonna enna seiva ?               ( Veera, just one question, back then when we loved without even confessing you left me when your mother called for you and now we confessed our love, what will you do if your mother doesn't want us to be together ?)

Veera: Yennoda appa mela sathiyam Kanmani...indha mura unna vida matten. ( I promise with my father Kanmani, I will never leave this time )

Kanmani felt tears as she how much Veera's father Manickam meant to her and Veera. He was a role model for them and he loved them as one. Kanmani linked her pinky with his like she used to hold in their childhood when she followed him everywhere he went. Veera smiled knowing her answer with the simple gesture.

Veera: Vaa, veliya polam.( come, lets go out somewhere)

Kanmani: Everyone must be waiting for you to complete the talks about our marriage. What about that ?

Veera: We just got together and let us be happy for sometime and celebrate our love confession. Wait...hey you are yet to say I love you..

Kanmani: Adhellam solla mudiyadhu Veliya po naa veeda pootitu varen. ( I can't say that, go out and I will come after locking the door )

Veera caged her between his arms and cocked his eyebrows.

Veera: Naa romba polladhavan di... olunga I love you sollu illa adhukku badhil oru mutham kudu nanum evlo naal dhan bramachariya irukradhu. ( I m a very bad boy girl. better say I love you or give a kiss, how long will I live a bachelor )

Kanmani: nothing is going to happen so better get away or I will scream and everyone will come rushing to check on me.

Veera: Even i m waiting to hear your screams but don't worry that will happen for sure one day now do one of the choices or I will be forced to take things in my favor.

Kanmani: Veera, do you remember you just came yesterday and we have started talking today but you are in a hurry to get a kiss already ?

Veera: I have already got admission for our children in our dreams in these 8 years but you are worried about a kiss ? I don't feel awkward that I meeting you after 8 years because I have literally been living with you and your thoughts.

Kanmani: Ippadilam pesi ethana ponnungala mayikki vechurukkiyo chennai la ? inga vandhu enna mayakka pakkuriya ? ( Don't know how many girls you have charmed with all these talks in chennai ? Now you are trying to seduce me ?)

Veera: Now that you have said yes watch what I will be doing to you. I can do more than just seducing. Pray to god to give you more will power to save yourself from me.

Kanmani took a step close to him and twisted his moustache with a smirk.

Kanmani: All the best. now come lets go to temple and I m hungry too.

They arrived at the temple and sat in the premises after offering their prayer. Veera broke a shell of a coconut and they munched on it.

Veera: Won't you ask me about my work, my salary, our home in chennai ?

Kanmani: that job in IT company ? and who cares about your salary and home ?

Veera: Yedhey salary pathi kekka mattiya ? Appo naa salary tharalana eppadi di kudumbam nadathuva ? Enakku onnum illa pa naa jolly ah veetla irundhutu unna love pannitu iruppen.          ( What, you won't ask about my salary ? then how will you run the family ? Not a problem for me then I will stay at home all day and keep loving you)

Kanmani: Don't have so easy calculations. I will make sure to make a long list of conditions and you will have to follow everything if you want us to get married.

Veera: Let us not talk about that now though I will be doing it. Now lets enjoy this day and you tell me what else you are doing here other than training children and going beating around the boys who go around girls ?

Kanmani: You will be here only so you can look for yourself. 

Kanmani caught Arul and Bommi rushing towards them leaving the bicycle on the ground.

Arul: Deii, engalam theduradhu ungala ? anga ellarum wait panranga vaanga polam. ( Hey, we were searching for you everywhere , there everyone are waiting for you both come lets go )

Veera: Not now dude... tell them some reason and I will handle my mother later after reaching home. First lets go have breakfast my Kanmani is hungry.

Arul: Your Kanmani ? ....brother she is my sister.

Veera: Ofcourse brother in law but she is my lover, fiance and very soon to be wife..

Veera winked at Kanmani and she looked away blushing leaving the two to gasp at them.

Bommi: Aruleyy, work out ayiduchu pola da.... naa dhan sonnen la iva lam Veera mamava paath aodane samadhanam ayiduva nu ... vaa vandhu treat vei..( Arul, seems like everything has been worked out... didn't I say that she will get convinced with just seeing Veera mama.. come give us treat now )

Arul: Kannu maa, I trusted you and made a bet with her but what did you do ? 

He huffed and turned away Veera jumped to his feet and caught his curly hairs rotating his head,

Veera: avala samadhanam panna naa evlo dialogue pesi irukken unakku evlo dhairiyam irundha seekiram samadhanam aga mattan nu bet kattuva ? ( I have spoke so long dialogues to convince her and how dare you bet that she won't get convinced so easily ?)

Kanmani pulled Veera away and he melted to her touch on his elbow and smiled at her leaving Arul. Later they all drove to the nearest hotel which and finished their breakfast.

Veera dropped Kanmani a little away from her home and took Arul with him to the farm. Arul spread a coir cot and Veera laid on it and Arul sat next to him.

Veera: Deiii, yen amma kitta irundhu Kanmani oda veera saagatha maraikka oru vazhi sollu. Kalyanam mudinja apram naa sollikuren. ( ( Hey, tell me a plan to hide Kanmani's daring stunt from my mother. I will tell her everything after marriage )

Arul: that is not so easy. Everyone in the village knows about Kanmani and how she is. I will just say one thing... 

Veera propped on his elbow and waited for his words.

Arul: Make sure your mother doesn't know that Kanmani hates that Singaaram the most and does everything she could to make him lose his business.

Veera: Singarama ? Avan kitta yenda ? ( Singaaram ? Why him man ?)

Arul: She hates that his money laundering and giving money for more interest is ruining people's lives. Our people doesn't earn that much to pay interest to him so she will try her best to avoid people from going to him and he hates her for that. They are like hero and villain of this village. 

Veera sat holding his head with his hands and then turned to Arul.

Veera: My mother hated to every bone in her body when my father used to involve in fights for other people's problem. If she came to know that Kanmani is doing such a big deal with Singaram then she will pack me immediately back to chennai. Aruleyyy help me man ... please..

Arul: We will try... how about you send her back to chennai saying you will stay alone here to convince Kanmani because she is angry with you ?

Veera: She won't leave me alone man... 

Arul: Then you should take Kanmani away from Singaram.

Veera: But how ?

Arul: Yen thangachiya thaniya kootitu poganum na odane ok adhukku idea venum ? ( You are always ready to take my sister alone and wanted idea for that ?)

Veera circled a curl fro Arul's hair with his finger and whined but Arul pushed him away trying to leave.Veera ran behind him and stopped him.

Veera: Deiii sarakku vaangi tharen da.. ( I will buy you drinks )

Arul: Appo ok.. Nalaikku idea oda varen. ( then ok, I will come with an idea by tomorrow )

They drove to all the places to catch up with the lost time and by late evening Arul dropped Veera at his home. As soon Arul entered inside his home he was welcomed with the aroma of briyani and Bommi was already busy fighting with her hand and mouth holding a plate of briyani in her hand.

Kanmani came out of her kitchen with a bag and gave it to him.

Kanmani: Anneyy....

Arul looked at her flaring his nose and she pouted melting his looks. He huffed and hugged her when they heard Bommi making a gagging sound looking at them.

Arul: Adutha vaati ivalukku sothula vesham vekkuren nu sollu idha briyani kondu poi sekkuren.     ( Tell me you will poison her food next time then I will deliver this briyani )

Kanmani: Anni appadilam solladha anneyyy. ( Don't say things like that about my sister in law brother )

Bommi: Idhukku vesham vechurkalam di ( You could have better poisoned me instead )

Arul slapped Bommi's head and left with the briyani bag and drove to Veera's home. He saw Mathi cutting onion and took them away from her.

Arul: Your daughter in law has cooked briyani for you and you are here cutting onion for chutney? Take this and taste my sister's favourite briyani.

Mathi: Did she say ok for marriage ?

Veera: Kovama irukka aana ok solliduva maa nee vandhu briyani podu sapdalam. ( She is angry but will say ok so now come and serve briyani and lets eat.)

Veera signalled Arul to not speak anything further and Arul left from there leaving the son and mother to handle the matter between them.
