Recap: Veera gather all the evidence against Singaram and trap him perfectly.

Singaram glared at Veera and turned his gaze to the person who dropped the bag of documents. Veera chuckled and removed the camera and stopped it from recording anything further. He gestured Moorthy to do the same and wrapped his arms around Kathiravan. 

Singaram: You did this ? How much money did he give you to switch his side ? Wait, where is the money ? Was it stolen in the first place ?

Veera: Wow wow slow down Singaram. Too many questions at a time. Let me answer one at a time. Money is safe where it has to be.

Veera removed the fake cast around his forehead and Singaram was shocked to see the plain skin without any injury.

Veera: Kathir uncle helped me to place a bug in your home and I got to know all your plans including stealing the money from me so I made a plan and trapped you in your own web.

Singaram: Why did you do this ?

Kathiravan: I was loyal to you and did everything you said to me but what did I get in return ? Your son tried to molest my daughter and by god's grace she escaped from him. Kanmani and Veera saw her struggling with bleeding head and arms. They saved her and made me realise the sin I was doing along with you all these years. I regret for doing everything and wanted to correct everything so I joined hands with them and helped them with everything.

Singaram: Bastard, I trusted you with you everything and you backstabbed me ?

Kathiravan: Shut up, I m done listening to you and working for you so don't you dare raise your voice against me or anyone. You lost everything. Not only you but your partners too.

Veera: Who gave you the idea of injecting my father ? 

Kathiravan: MLA's wife is a doctor so sure she must have given that idea Veera.

Veera: Wait for your punishment.

Singaram: Only if I let you leave this place.

Veera: You must be really an idiot. Millions of people have watched what happened now and what you did in the past so if something happens to me then you will be killed instantly because you have so many enemies.

Moorthy and Kathiravan carried the bags and followed Veera out of the farm house.

Back at Veera's home when Baskar shut Kanmani's mouth with his palm to stop her from screaming, she kicked his leg and he fell on the floor with his face. Kanmani picked the broom and started beating him and screaming at the same time. Hearing her scream people rushed to her home and saw the scenario. They didn't wanted to be told what would have happened. People dragged him out and started beating him until he was passed out.

Kanmani sat on the chair waiting for Ranga who came running along with Pratik, Radha and Krishnan. Kanmani explained everything that happened.

Pratik: Kanmani, do you want to expose this bastard too ?

Kanmani: Ofcourse. Please upload the footages of him trying to molest me. Today the whole of Singaram's family should be punished.

Radha: Kanmani, we saw the live of Singaram confessing everything. How cruel he has been and we stayed blind to all his cruelty.

Kanmani: Let bygones be bygones Radha ma. We now need justice for everything he did to our people. He should be punished and rot in jail for the rest of his life. That MLA and collector should give him company. No one should dare to do such thing after watching these people being punished.

Veera, Moorthy and Arul arrived with the bags and gave a proud smile to Kanmani.

Veera: Uncle, the documents of the people who had borrowed money from Singaram are in these. Return it to them and the other bag has the agreement copies. We need them as evidence so we shall handover to the officer whoever will take this case.

Kanmani: They should know the consequences of dealing with people like Singaram so we shall wait until they get to know everything and those who come forward and confess against Singaram will get their documents back and rest can fight themselves in the court for it.

Veera: You are right Kanmani. People should not be scared to stand for justice atleast if that is for their own sake else there will be not one but many Singarams ready to eat our lives.

Ranga: You made us proud Veera. Manickam will be very happy.

Veera: We need to thank Moorthy and Pratik. Without them this could have been impossible.

Pratik: Veera, I have called the media and they have reached the village. All the evidences has been aired on the channels and you can confess from your part. Those who wanted to join you can come forward and reveal everything they had gone through. 

Senthil: Kanmani, finally you did achieve. I couldn't do anything to help you back then but now I will confess how he tortured me for money.

Man1: I will confess on how he brutally killed my brother for money. I saw it with own eyes but couldn't complaint cause I was scared of my life and my family.

Many people more came forward and agreed to stand by Veera and Kanmani's side to confess against Singaram. In less than an hour vehicles from the media and press were parked outside Veera's home and the reporters saw the crowd. Mathi who returned from the temple stood puzzled on seeing the crowd and the media in front of her home but gasped on hearing the questions the reporters shoot to Veera.

Reporter 1: Mr. Veera, can you explain on what happened to your family ?

Veera: I would rather say that happened to many people in our village. While I talk about mine the people here will confess the cruelty they suffered. Singaram, the president of this village along with the MLA and collector has been drinking on the blood of these poor people. He lend money for more interest and tortured them to give away their lands in return for the money. My father has fought against him but he killed my father 8 years ago. MLA's wife is a doctor she had helped them to inject poison into my father's body. I was not aware of it and got to know recently. There are many people whom he has killed for his own benefits.

Reporter 2 : Why didn't you report to the police station when you came to know about him and the murder of your father ?

Veera:  I didn't had any evidences like I have today. Also the police were working in his favour. He had strong political support so I had to find some way to trap him. My friends helped me to gather all the evidences against him and with their support we made a plan and I became victim to him which worked in our favour. With secret cameras we recorded all his confessions. 

Reporter 3: The recent footage that was released has showed a man trying to harass a woman. Is he Singaram's son and who is that woman ?

Veera: Ofcourse he is Singaram's son Baskar and that woman is my wife. Baskar has been molesting girls but unfortunately we don't have evidence other than my wife herself and the footage you have seen.

Reporter 4: Did you leave your wife alone to collect evidence against him ?

Veera: No, I had no idea that he would arrive at my home in my absence but I m proud that wife is trained master in martial arts and she could defend herself. She doesn't need a man to protect her constantly.

Reporter 1: Mrs. Veera, do you have something to say to us ? 

Kanmani: People should be brave enough to stand and fight for justice. People like Singaram should be punished severely that they don't even dare to think of doing things like that again in their life. Every girl and women should be trained to defend themselves. Like any other subjects they learn, self defence should also be mandatory for them. 

Veera intertwined his fingers with hers and she smiled at him while a reporter spoke gaining everyone's attention.

Reporter: This crime has been taken to the attention of CM and he has fired the MLA from his cabinet and removed him from his party. Even the SI and collector has been fired and CM has  also informed the DIG to appoint a team to arrest all the three and investigate further on this case. He has passed his wishes for the way you have worked to expose these people involved in money laundering.

Veera: We want justice to all the people who were killed by them. 

Reporter 3: Mr. Veera, you had mentioned about the money that was stolen. Were you able to find who stole the money ?

Veera: No, the money is safe. When I got to know Singaram had planned to steal the money from me I beat to him and gave the money to someone who could keep it safe.

Krishnan passed the money bag to Ranga who opened it showed all the money.

Veera: We are ready handover all these money to the officer who will investigate this case further but I want them to act quickly.

Reporter 1: The police has reported that all three have gone missing. Do you have any idea of their secret places ?

Veera: I think we have worked more than enough on this to help the police so now they have to work and get them under custody. It is not safe for any of us in the village when they are out free. 

Two police officers arrived at Veera's home and wished Veera and the team before they arrested Baskar. The reporters took their leave and the people wished and blessed Kanmani, Veera and his friends for all their bravery and saving them.

Krishnan: You made us all proud Veera. We are so happy today and especially your father will be very proud of you and Kanmani. 

Veera: Its late but still we were able to do it. And nothing would have possible without Kanmani, my friends, uncle, Arul and Bommi.

Krishnan thanked Moorthy and Pratik and pat their shoulder.

Veera hummed and they all entered home exhausted after everything happened. Mathi was still standing spellbound looking at them conversing. She watched Kanmani lit a diya before Manickam's portrait and Veera stood next to her with his palms clasped.

Veera: I m sorry paa. I was not able to save you and it took me so many years to fullfil the promise made to you and please forgive for that. I hope you are proud today though it took so many years.

Kanmani: Veera, he will be very happy. No more tears and today is meant for celebration though we are all exhausted.

Bommi: Hey, I know we will succeed so I have already informed my parents to prepare a feast for us. They will be here anytime to serve us so lets refresh and get ready. I m very hungry.

Veera: Ofcourse you will be hungry fatsy. Eat less and let us compensate on your big day very soon. what say ? Are you ready ?

Bommi: Ponnum ready, mappillaiyum ready neenga dhan da kalyanam panna maatringa. ( The bride is ready and so is the groom. You guys are not ready to get us married )

Ranga: I m sorry daughter. I will fix the date for your wedding as the first the thing tomorrow morning. Just spare me today. Poor old man is too tired.

Bommi: Don't worry uncle I will feed you good food once we are married and you will feel young.

Arul: She has amnesia that she often forget that she is the one cooking for us after Kanmani got married.

Everyone burst out laughing and Veera turned his gaze to Moorthy and Pratik.

Veera: I have no words.

Moorthy: God, stop with your emotional words Veera. That doesn't suit you. Let us party if Kanmani is ok.

Kanmani: I will give tea tumbler and only one round is allowed for you all and half tumbler for my father. 

Veera: Seriously ? We shall have mango juice better.

Kanmani: your choice. Now lets get refresh.

One by one walked to the backyard and Kanmani nudged Veera gesturing him to talk to Mathi. He sighed and sauntered to his mother and stood before her.

Veera: I hope you are happy now that I safe and sound before you now. I guess you understood that everything was our plan by now. I told you not to come here but still you did and you could have spoiled all our plan but luckily my wife is very brilliant and we got you work in our team even without your knowledge so congrats to you too for the success of our plan since you are a part of it. May be a very important role actually so I forgive you.

Mathi: Thank you Veera. Thank You so much. I m so sorry. I won't stop you from doing anything. I promise.

Veera: Please don't make promises when you can't keep one. I said I forgive you but I can't forget everything you did and I really need time to get over that.

Mathi: Please Veera.

Veera: If I forget everything easily it would be an injustice to Kanmani and my father but I m not doing revenge with you. I honestly need time to get over it so we will be on speaking terms until then. Please.

Kanmani: Veera.

Veera: I m hungry Kanmani and I know you are too exhausted and hungry too after the fight you put with that bastard.

Kanmani took her cue and nodded her head walking to their room followed by Veera. Mathi stood with tears realizing she let her husband down by not fighting for him, by not being the wife he wanted her to be and fight for truth and justice, by keeping her son in dark all these years, by letting Kanmani suffer all alone. She regretted the day she decided to give into Singaram's words to leave the village.

She smiled reminiscing the way people came forward to stand by Veera and Kanmani. How easily the couples sowed the seeds of bravery in everyone's heart. She ambled to Manickam's portrait and shed more tears.

Mathi: I m sorry, please forgive me.

The flower from his portrait fell on her and she smiled reminiscing how he loved her and forgave her everytime she fought him for standing up for other's problem. Like every other time she believed he forgave her this one last time too.
