Recap: Baskar plot out his plans to trap Veera sooner than Singaram had expected.

Veera and Moorthy drove to the coconut grove to chill for sometime. They were seated on the coir cot and Veera saw a man approaching them and guessed him to be Singaram's men from the the way he was wearing the dhoti of the party that Singaram belonged to.

Veera: Who are you and what you are doing at our grove ?

Man: My name is Kathiravan and I work for Singaram sir.

Veera: Why are you here ?

Kathiravan: Veera, I heard you are trying for a loan to start your business here in the village. I know your father in law very well and for his sake I thought of helping you. Singaram sir is the only person who would be able to help you even though your wife Kanmani doesn't like him.

Veera: Why would he help me ? First of all my wife hates him for claiming more interest from people and second thing is, why will he help me when he is well aware of my wife's hatred for him ?

Kathiravan: She thinks that sir is fighting people for no reason but that is not the truth Veera. He gives money to people and who on the earth will not ask the money in return ? He does that but Kanmani hates him for that.

Veera: Whatever could be the reason but I will not take money from the person whom my wife hate. I will not hurt her.

Kathiravan: As you wish Veera but how long will you roam around without a job. Even after you are being offered a loan it would take atleast a year or two for you to run a stable business and what will you do for your household until then ? Men without job is a chappal out of home. No women will respect him. Since you are Ranga's son in law and also I know your father very well so I wanted to help you for his sake. I will talk to Singaram sir to lend you loan on less rate of interest.

Veera: I will take care of my problem. You may leave.

Kathiravan: Here is my number if you ever change your mind.

Kathiravan left a bit paper with his number scribbled on it. One he left Veera and Moorthy laughed crushing the paper and throwing it away.

Moorthy: Why do you throw away ? Save it for future use.

Veera: No, we will not need this because he will come again on his own with different plans to convince me. Now lets go home and check if the camera had done its work.

On way back they saw a car stopped by the road and a man leaning on it. Veera knew it was Singaram's son Baskar as he stalked him on social media. Even Baskar recognized Veera and stopped the bike giving a smile to him.

Baskar: I m sorry but the tyre has flattened and I drove on my own today so could you please help me to find a mechanic to replace with a stepney ?

Veera: What is the need for a mechanic to do that ? We can help you and by the way who are you and I haven't seen you around here ?

Baskar: My name is Baskar and I m Singaran's son. Just returned a few days back on completing my business studies.

Veera stilled and Baskar noticed it but tried to push away any thoughts about him from Veera's mind.

Baskar: But I m planning on leaving the village as soon as possible. I m not interested in any of my father's business here. I want to set up business of my own from my hard earned money. 

Veera and Moorthy had started removing the flattened tyre listening to his rantings as if they were interested in it. 

Veera: Good to know that you wanted to stand on your own.

Baskar: Ofcourse and by the way would you mind introducing yourself ?

Veera: I m Veera and he is my friend Moorthy. This village is my native but I stayed in Chennai for the past 8 years and now got married recently and wanted to settle here. 

Baskar: So good to hear that Veera. Where do you work here ?

Veera Mv: What a fool he could be ?

Veera: I m planning to construct a shopping complex and trying for loan and soon I will be busy in my business.

Baskar: Awesome Veera. All the best. Hopefully I could be there on your opening day if I m still in village.

Veera hummed and dusted his hands fixing the stepney. Moorthy placed the flattened tyre in the deck of the car.

Baskar; Thank you so much and hope we meet often. Happy to see someone broadminded like me.

Veera nodded his head and Baskar drove away thanking them once again.

Veera: He thought we couldn't see through his facade to trap us. 

Moorthy laughed and they reached home. Kanmani passed water to them and Veera passed the button camera to Pratik to check it.

Veera: Kathiravan met us at the grove Kanmani. 

Kanmani: you mean that Singaram's left hand man Kathiravan ?

Veera nodded his head and explained everything happened including meeting Baskar and helping him.

Kanmani: How dare he made you work for him ? you should have tore him apart Veera.

Moorthy: Veera, I m so happy for you. Kanmani is perfect for you and I hope one day I see you with black eyes.

Veera: Are you by any means instigating her against me Mr. Moorthy ?

Moorthy: No, she doesn't need that. 

Pratik: Guys look at the recordings. Its just perfect so make sure you have it with you all sides when you leave home.

Moorthy: What next ?

Veera: Simple. Singaram will set his men to pull me down with comments that I m jobless and we shall add fuel to it.

Arul: what nonsense ?

Veera: He wanted me to turn against Kanmani and that is the only way he can convince me to accept his offer.

Kanmani: So what should I do now ?

Veera: We will start with our acting. You throw some tantrums infront of people so that it will reach his ears and he will make out his open move to meet me.

Kanmani: Fine I m ready.

Moorthy burst out laughing and Pratik was hardly controlling his laughter.

Veera: You are so eager to fight me ? God, how could you be so vicious Kanmani ?

Kanmani: Are you in for a real fight Mr. Veera ? 

Veera shook his head vigorously and glared at Moorthy for creating so much dramas between them.

Veera: I swear Moorthy, if me and Kanmani get into a fight then you will lose your teeth when you are back to home in Chennai.

Moorthy shut his mouth with his palm and Veera smirked turning his gaze to Kanmani who just winked and walked away leaving him baffled.

Veera Mv: I will take care of you naughtiness tonight bunny baby. 

The next day Veera and Kanmani arrived at the market to buy vegetables and Kanmani stared at Veera.

Veera: Why are you staring at me now ?

Kanmani: God Veera, do I have do all the work on my own ? Could you not be responsible and remind me to carry a bag when we left home ? How do we carry the vegetables now ?

Veera: Kanmani, its ok let us buy a cloth bag to but the vegetables. Problem solved and I was held up in finding a way to start our business.

Kanmani: Veera don't mistake me but I think you should drop the idea and look for some other job. No one is ready to offer loan Veera and we can run the home without any income.

Veera: Kanmani, we shall discuss this at home. People are watching us. You are embarrassing me.

Kanmani: Veera, I m sorry.

Veera shook his head and walked away and Kanmani saw the shopkeeper and few other people looking at her with a displeased look. 

Shopkeeper: Kanmani, you should have not hurt him. Poor guy left his mother and job in Chennai and came here only for you.

Kanmani tried to catch up with Veera but he drove away leaving her in the market. Kanmani called Arul to pick up her and she returned home. Veera was eating ice cream watching TV and shutting the door Kanmani jumped to his lap snatching the cup from him.

Kanmani: People looked at me like I m a villain and took you away from your mother.

Veera: Just for few days bunny and everything will be done.

He licked the ice cream from the corner of her lips whilst the gossip had started spreading like a wild fire across the village and thanks to Kathiravan for doing that after he had watched the live of the stunt Kanmani and Veera pulled at the market.

Next day morning Baskar arrived at Veera and Kanmani's home and Veera looked at Baskar bewildered while Kanmani was throwing daggers at him.

Veera: Do you need something Baskar ?

Baskar stole glance at Kanmani and cleared his throat turning his attention to Veera. He also saw few people looking at them since his car was parked before Veera's home.

Baskar: Veera, I heard you have been trying for a loan for your business so thought if I could help  you. You are the first person I like in the village after my return and you helped yesterday so I thought of returning the favour.

Kanmani: We don't need your favour and we can handle our business. 

Baskar: I think I m here at wrong time. I will meet you later Veera and we shall discuss if you are interested.

Kanmani: Anytime you are here is the wrong time so please don't show up better and Veera will not seek help from you of all people. If your father has sent you then inform him that Kanmani will never allow her husband to fall into his trap.

Baskar: Excuse me, I m not sure of what you are hinting and I m not here on anyone's words. I m here to help Veera and this has nothing to do with my father. If you think I m like him then please be assured that I have no intentions like my father. 

Veera: Baskar, thanks for you help but I think it would be good that we don't collaborate.

Kanmani: Yes, I will be happy that he is at home without job rather than taking money from your family to start his business.

Veera: You are bringing up my job again now ?

Kanmani: I didn't mean that Veera. God, please try to understand Veera, we shall find some other way or you better take care of appa's farms and we don't need to start any business.

Veera: Baskar please excuse us. 

Baskar nodded and started leaving but at slow pace hearing the bickering between the couples.

Veera: Kanmani, I resigned my job and agreed to settled here because I wanted to start business on my own. I agree your father is my uncle but I can't work in his lands. He is my father in law and my pride doesn't allow that.

Kanmani: Do whatever you want and I don't care even if you don't work at all but don't take loan from that family.

Baskar saw the people looking at the couple and smirked as he left in his car. He drove at a slow speed and was stunt to see Veera driving his bike at high speed. He immediately called his father and informed him everything to make their next move.

Ranga was sitting in the steps of the pond lost in thoughts when Kathiravan sat next to him.

Kathiravan: Ranga, I know your daughter hate me for working with Singaram sir but I have always wanted only good things to happen to you and your children. I felt bad hearing all the gossips in the air about Kanmani and Veera. Infact I met Veera and tried to convince him to offer loan through Singaram sir but he denied it. Also it seems like Veera helped Baskar and in return for that Baskar wanted to help Veera but Kanmani has humiliated him.

Ranga: Whatever has written in their fate will happen. I can't force any of them.

Kathiravan: If Kanmani is worried about the interest then you need not worry about it. Baskar has spoken to his father to consider Veera as his friend and help him. You are their father Ranga so decide the best for them. They are newly wed and people have already started talking about their fights. This won't do any good.

Ranga: Kanmani is very stubborn and she won't agree to anything I say in taking loan from Singaram. I don't even know why she hate him.

Kathiravan: In that case let us help Veera without Kanmani's knowledge. If you are ok with this then we shall arrange this as a setup through some other financier so that Kanmani will not have a problem.

Ranga: Will Singaram agree for this and will he give lend loan at low rate of insterest ?

Kathiravan: Ofcourse he will do Ranga. I will talk to him and Baskar has already spoke to his father to help Veera so you don't have to worry about that matter. Just convince Veera and call me. We shall meet somewhere to discuss this.

Ranga: Ok, I will talk to him and will it be ok to meet tomorrow morning ?

Kathiravan hummed with a wide smile and Ranga left from the place. Kathiravan immediately updated Singaram about the success of their plan.
