Recap: Veera and his friends approach the bank for loan and as per their plan Singaram gets involved to execute his plan.

Two days later Veera, Moorthy and Pratik arrived at the bank to meet the bank manager to know the status of their loan proposal. The peon lead them inside and the manager had a blank face yet Veera passed a gentle smile to him taking the seat opposite to him.

Veera: We thought we could meet you and know the status of the loan proposal. I hope you are satisfied with the details in the file.

Bank Manager: Mr. Veera, my apologies but I couldn't approve this proposal. The amount you claim is huge and the land value is really very low compared to the estimation. Any bank in the surrounding will reject this proposal. If you had tried this in the city then you would have got instant approval but here in a village we don't have approval to issue such huge amount. I m sorry.

Veera: Oh no, we were expecting a real positive reply from you. Please don't get me wrong but can you suggest if we could this approved from any private banks or finance group ?

Bank Manager: I don't think private banks will approve of this but sure finance group will work for your idea. 

Moorthy: Veera, don't give up. This has been our dream for a long time so we will achieve this somehow. Like the manager said lets try some finance group. 

They got the file back and left the bank without exchanging a word as they couldn't trust anyone around with the conversations.

They returned home and Pratik placed the bug on the table with a smile.

Pratik: now, we need to throw the bait for the next person and who will be that ?

Veera: We will meet some of the financiers in and around the village and sure the information will reach Singaram. If I m right then he won't come to us on his own but will try lure us through his men who will become our bait.

Moorthy: Let  Arul do the work this time. Let him meet financiers who are acquaintance of Singaram so that our work will be easy.

Veera nodded his head and Arul agreed to their plan. 

The next day Veera, Moorthy and Pratik met two financiers and tried to convince them to offer loan against the land but they denied as the amount was really a huge one.

They returned home and enjoyed the rest of the day playing games and the men cooked to give rest to Kanmani.

Arul reached the near by village and met with one of the financier whom he knew well and was also an acquaintance of Singaram.

Arul: Hello sir, how are you ?

Financier: I m fine Arul. Tell me, what got you here to meet me today ?

Arul: Actually my sister's husband is planning to construct a shopping complex and looking for a loan for it so I thought I could have a word with you. I have got all the documents he has for it. 

Financier: Let the document be aside Arul. I know you and could do anything for you. what is the amount he needs for that. How many lakhs ?

Arul: Actually it is not lakhs. He needs 3 crores and the land is worth for the amount. He will give the papers of the land to you.

Financier: Arul, are you kidding me ? In and around all the villages there is no people who will need a loan more than 5 lakhs but here you are asking for 3 crores ? I m sorry but not only me, no financier will give that amount as loan. 

Arul: My sister wanted to live in the village only so he resigned his job in Chennai and trying to do a business here in the village.

Financier: I can understand Arul but even the bank won't offer such amount as loan. There is only one person who will be ready to offer such amount and he is in your village.

Arul: Who are you referring to ?

Financier: Singaram brother. Only he offers such amount and if you want I can speak to him since I know you very well.

Arul: We don't have a good history and my sister will not like having sort of business with him. May be I will try from some financiers from the town. I will take my leave.

Financier hummed and Arul left from there. He hid behind the wall of the financier's office and heard him talking to Singaram about his visit requesting the loan. He smiled on completing his mission and returned home. He hugged Veera as soon he saw him.

Arul: Veera, I did perfectly like you said and I heard that financier talk to Singaram about our loan proposal.

Veera: Fantastic, now we should wait for his men to reach one of us. Sure that will not be Kanmani.

Kanmani: I will break his face if he dares to approach me.

Moorthy: Veera, how come there is no marks on your face so far ?

Veera Mv: Ofcourse she has left her marks on my back. My feisty bunny

Moorthy saw the smile on Veera's face and cleared his throat breaking his trance. Veera coughed and entered the kitchen to avoid the topic. 

Pratik: Ranga uncle, Arul and Veera, listen to me now. From now on you three will have a button camera in your shirt. Whoever the person be to contact you but he will copycat Singaram's words so we need to have a record of every discussion.

Pratik gave each of them one and gave instruction clearly.

Pratik: always wear dark shirts to match this camera so that there won't be any suspect on you all.

Kanmani and Bommi left together to the temple leaving the men at home. She stopped the TVS excel and bought some flowers and coconut to offer to the deity. They completed the prayers and sat in the premises munching on the coconut.

Kanmani fished out her mobile from the purse and dialled Mathi's number which was answered in the last ring.

Mathi: Kanmani, Veera eppadi irukkan, onnum problem illa la ? Nee, Arul, anna lam eppadi irukinga ? Veera innum kovama irukana ? ( Kanmani, how is Veera doing ? There is no problem over there right ? How are you, Arul and brother ? Is Veera still angry over me ? )

Kanmani: Aunty, we are all fine and there is no problem here. Veera is not angry with you. Very soon we will come there to take you with us. How are you doing ?

Mathi: I m good, still living with Veera's uncle family. Did he talk about me Kanmani ?

Kanmani: Yes aunty, he miss you a lot and every night he looks at you picture in his mobile before he goes to sleep. Just some more days aunty and everything will be alright.

Mathi: Will you tell me what is he upto ?

Kanmani: No aunty, I m not aware of what he is upto but he is fine so don't worry about him. 

Mathi: I know you will take care of him. Stay safe all of you. Can you do a video call and show his face to me once ?

Kanmani hummed and cut the call. She felt bad for Mathi and Veera and hoped that they will get back soon from the differences. Bommi looked around to check if they are being watch and once she was sure of their privacy she leaned to Kanmani.

Bommi: Why did you lie her that you don't know about what Veera is upto ?

Kanmani: Mathi aunty is very weak and her love for Veera might land us in trouble if she knew what we are planning and by any chance Singaram contact her to check on our real intentions.

Bommi: How come all of a sudden both husband and wife have become a james bond ?

Kanmani smiled and pulled Bommi with her to return home. She started the TVS champ and hardly she moved it and a car stopped before her startling both Kanmani and Bommi.

Bommi: Kadavule, nalla vela illana idhu kadaisi naala irundhu irukkum namakku. Vaa yaru andha loosu nu papom. ( good god, else it would have been our last day alive today. Come lets see who that nuthead is )

Kanmani sauntered to the car and knocked on the window. which rolled down and she glared at the man inside it.

Kanmani: Can't you drive properly ? What if you had hurt someone ? 

Hearing nothing from the man she gritted her teeth and drove away mumbling some obscenities on the man who now turned to his assistant in the passenger seat.

Man: Who is that killer girl ? 

Assistant: Baskar sir, she is Kanmani. Your father wanted you to stay away from her.

Baskar: My goodness, my father should have shared her photo and I would have arrived early to make sure she was mine. Such a feisty cat and man, she has a killer body. Not too late but keep this information off from my father's ear.

Assistant: Ok sir but please think over it before you do something. She is very dangerous and only her hands speak when someone mess with her.

Baskar: I will make sure her hand and mouth both speak to me.

Baskar returned home and saw the MLA had arrived with his daughter to fix the date for the engagement. The girl looked at Baskar who gave a smile at her and walked away to his room with his mind completely drowned in Kanmani's thoughts.

He called his assistant to his room and he poured a drink for himself before he ordered the man to pour out every details he knew about Kanmani. The next 30 minutes he let every details sink into him. Baskar dismissed his assistant and looked out of the window as his cunning mind started plotting to get her into his web.

He walked out of his room and reached the porch to see to his father who was busy discussing matters with the MLA. Baskar sat next to his father and Veera's file on the table got his attention.

Baskar: What is your plan to go forward with ?

Singaram: I have informed one of our trusted men to meet Ranga and brainwash him to get into our trap.

Baskar: What is the tentative period of the results to your plan ?

MLA: This business is not a ATM machine where we plug a paper and it throws out the money. We need to be patient. First he need to get into our trap and accept the money then he has to start the construction then we will find a way to stop it or may be once he complete the construction we shall make sure that no one come forward to do business in his complex. We will do anything and everything to stop his business from flourishing.

Baskar made a tch sound and chuckled at his father and the MLA.

Baskar: Sounds right that you are still MLA and my father just a president even after so many years and inspite of those money you both have it in your dungeons.

MLA: You have just returned here and you don't know the way the system works here. We can't risk and lose our everything we have earned over years.

Baskar: Who bothers about the system and the way it works ? It would be stupid of us to wait for years for him to start the construction or until he complete it and begin with his business over there.

Singaram: what else do you expect us do ? This is how it works. 

Baskar: Definitely not. The plan is we get him into our trap and give him the money he wanted but before he reached home with the money we steal the money from him. Bingo, the next day he will be zero and we execute our plan. A week and his land will be ours.

Baskar Mv: And his wife will be mine.

Singaram and MLA were seated stupefied. A few second and they were out of their shock and smiled patting Baskar on his back.

MLA: You blew our minds with your thoughts but everything comes with risk.

Baskar: No risk no profit. The only thing you will do here in this proposal is, you won't claim the rate of interest like you do usually. 

Singaram: What do you mean ?

Baskar: This is not some few lakhs that you will claim huge rate of interest and expect him to fall into your trap immediately. Definitely not with his wife who is ready to claw your throat.

MLA: So what is your plan on that  part ?

Baskar: Quote him the same rate of interest like any other financier or bank does. He or his wife should hardly have a reason to deny the offer from us.

MLA: You are right Baskar. Singaram, go by his plans and sure we should be able to close this off in a week or hardly by 10 days.

Singaram hummed whilst he saw a glint in Baskar's eyes and knew he was missing something and made a note mentally to have background check from his assistant later.
