Recap: Veera's plan to trap Singaram.

A week passed and by now the village was aware of Veera and Kanmani's intentions behind returning to village. Singaram too received the news and let his men to have their eyes on Veera and the whole family. Veera got all the papers ready to approach the bank for loan and in the meanwhile Ranga transferred the land to Veera's name.

Kanmani and Bommi were cooking dinner whilst Veera had gone to pick up his friends who had agreed to help him. Arul and Ranga were folding the washed clothes as they watched a movie on the TV.

They heard Veera calling Kanmani and everyone sauntered out and saw two men along side Veera.

Veera: They are my friends Moorthy and Pratik. Moorthy is my friend from office and Pratik works for press and media as undercover agent gathering sensational news. 

He introduced Kanmani , Ranga, Arul and Bommi to Moorthy and Pratik. They greeted them and welcomed inside the home.

Moorthy: So, I finally got to meet my best friend's love and congratulations to both of you for your marriage. His dream finally came true. I m so happy for both of you. Kanmani sister your husband used to literally day dream about you.

Veera: Moorthy...

Moorthy smiled sheepishly and Veera lead them to refresh. Meanwhile Kanmani and Bommi set the plates and food to have dinner. Once they settled she served food to them.

Moorthy: Veera, do you have the documents ready ? Let us not delay this any further and approach the bank by tomorrow. I have got whatever documents you needed from me.

Veera: Good, I have everything ready and we are going by plans. Uncle will start the plan with his act tomorrow morning and later we shall leave for the bank.

Ranga: Don't worry about my acting. I will do perfectly.

Arul: Veera, let Moorthy and Pratik stay with me and appa.

Veera: Why ? I have no problem Arul. Let them stay here.

Moorthy: You won't have problem now but I know you will curse me at night. Also I want to join the bachelors team and you are a married man so let me go and thank me later.

Arul: Neraya peru baathikka patrukanga mapla unnala. ( Many people have suffered because of you dude )

Veera: Problem is, I can't handle one Arul and here you want to give me two Aruls ? Still I will let you go.

Moorthy: I know you are doing a mental dance Veera.

Arul and Ranga drove to their home with Moorthy and Pratik. Bommi drove her cycle to her home. Veera and Kanmani served food and fed each other.

Kanmani: I hope everything goes by plan. How will you gather evidence Veera ?

Veera: Pratik had some special devices and we will use that. We will speak of that later when we reach the point of meeting Singaram to discuss the loan.

She hummed and they retired to sleep.

In the morning Ranga and Bommi's father reached the tea shop and ordered for a tea. He saw  Singaram's men seated opposite and having his tea.

Bommi's father: Why did you drag me with you this morning ?

Ranga: Today Veera is approaching the bank for loan so I thought of visiting the temple to offer prayers for his success.

Bommi's father: Very good. What is the estimate of the project and how much amount is he looking for from the bank ?

Ranga: I can't hide this because this is a huge project in our village. There is no shopping complex or any malls anywhere our village and in our Taluk so he came up with this idea. The project estimation is 4 crores. Veera and his friends have some savings but still they need 3 crore.

Bommi's father: 3 crore ? But what will they mortgage for the loan for such a huge amount ?

Ranga: I have given my land in the south of our village to Veera and his friend has land from Chennai. They will use both the lands and I m sure the loan will be granted.

Bommi's father: Wow, Veera is really talented guy. Come lets go to the temple and return home before they leave for the bank.

Ranga and Bommi's father sauntered away and Singaram's men was quick to drive to Singaram's home. He conveyed everything he heard at the tea shop and Singaram was left in deep thoughts.

Singaram: Is he for serious to open a shopping complex ? 

Singaram's men: They are mortgaging the same land that you wanted for a long time to open a petrol bunk sir.

Singaram called the collector and informed him about Veera's plan to visit the bank for loan.

Collector: What should I do ? I don't think this would be safe deal. Someone from your village approaching bank for 3 crores loan is suspicious.

Singaram: We will decide that later but for now talk to the bank manager and get a copy of their proposal and all the documents. We will discuss later on this.

Collector agreed and Singaram cut the call giving his focus to his son Baskar who had returned from US.

Baskar: Who is this Veera ? How come someone from our village has such ideas ?

Singaram revealed everything about Veera and his whole background including Manickam's murder. Baskar was pondering over everything his father revealed.

Baskar: This should be risky and let us not rush into this. Let me know once you receive the copy of the proposal and let us decide later. Also inform the MLA to send his the lawyer to have a discussion on this.

Singaram nodded his head and patted Baskar's shoulder before left to his room.

Ranga informed Veera and his friends about everything happened at the tea shop. Veera, Moorthy and Pratik drove to the bank and as planned they explained everything about their business idea and gave the file which had all the plan proposal in it. The bank manager who had received the call from Collector informed Veera that he would get back in a day or 2 about his decision. Veera and Moorthy gave a smile and returned home where others were waiting impatiently to know the result of their first move.

Kanmani passed water to them and Veera smiled at them.

Veera: We will know if the plan is success or not in a few minutes. 

Pratik switched on his laptop and in a few minutes they all heard someone speak possibly on a call.

Sir, Veera was here with the proposal and as you said I have got his file. I have informed him that I will get back in a day or 2.

I checked the proposal sir, its perfect and the land they are mortgaging is worth the money.

----------------------

Sure sir, I will send a copy to your e mail. Thank you sir.

Veera: The bank manager has called someone but we are not sure who was on the call with him. 

Kanmani: How did you do this ?

Pratik: I have placed a bug in his office and we will get to know his plans. The next time we go there and we will remove the bug because he will not be of use anymore.

Arul: Wow, so far we have seen all these only in movies. 

Veera: We are on the right track and once they get to know that our proposal is a perfect one, they will instigate bank manager to reject the proposal.

Ranga: But how will Singaram come into picture once the loan is rejected ?

Veera: Again you will do the act to lure him but lets wait for two more days.

Arul: What if the loan is approved ?

Veera: He wouldn't have called anyone if there is even 1 % of chance in approving the loan so lets not worry about it. Now Singaram will try to know about Moorthy and Pratik.

Kanmani: What if they find about Pratik brother ?

Pratik: Even my family doesn't know about my work. To them I work as a freelancer and Moorthy is my childhood friend.

Bommi: Thank god. Veera, I m surprised that you are so intelligent.

Veera: Even I thought you are a monkey but seems like I m wrong because you are a raccoon.

Bommi pinched him and he started pulling her ear. Kanmani shook her head pulled them apart.

Kanmani: Next time when you both start a fight remember I will throw you both out and there won't be any of us to stop until one of you come alive killing the other.

Veera: Don't worry Kanmani, I will kill her.

Bommi: Dei Aruley, avan enna solran paru. ( Hey Arul, do you even hear his words ?)

Arul: Ofcourse I heard him. Veera, do you want any weapons ?

Veera chuckled and Bommi stomped on Arul's feet and tried to leave but Veera pulled her back holding her hair.

Veera: Where are you leaving ? Lets go watch a movie and have dinner outside. We might not get time after 2 days. Also me and Kanmani will have to fake fight so movie and dinner at restaurant will not be possible then.

Bommi: Arul book tickets to watch a movie everyday. Our time to tease him. 

Arul smirked and wrapped his hand around her shoulder. Moorthy and Pratik felt lively among Veera's family and they never felt as an outside even for once. The whole family treated them as their own.

At Singaram's home:

One of the collector's men arrived at Singaram's home with a copy of Veera's proposal from the bank manager. Baskar and the lawyer were going through the proposal with all interest whilst Singaram was waiting for a positive news from them.

An hour later Baskar and the lawyer grinned at Singaram.

Baskar: They have a perfect proposal and indeed their idea to open a shopping complex is better than your petrol bunk idea. The land that Veera owns is worth the money and his friend's land in Chennai is absolutely perfect for my plan to construct a hotel. We need both the lands but we need to make sure that Veera and his father death 8 years back is not a hurdle in our path.

Singaram: I will have watch his family and even a slightest doubt, lets drop the plan.

Lawyer: Even if he is aware of his father's death, there is no evidence. Next point is, if he is aware that you killed his father then he will never come to you for money. His mother would have warned him about you so I don't find threat in this.

Singaram: If you say so then lets make our move. I will pass the message to collector to inform the bank manager to reject the proposal. I have a long pending issue to be settled between me and Veera's wife Kanmani and this proposal will get me to show her place in this village.

Baskar: Don't tell me she is the same girl whom you wanted me to marry.

Singaram: Ofcourse she is the same girl and never under estimate her. She is very feisty and Veera will not approach us so easily and Kanmani will not let him in the first place but we will make every move that he has no other option than coming to us.

Baskar: I should meet that feisty cat then.

Singaram: Stay away from her if you want this business and I don't mess with girls and women so I expect the same from you. No silly business here in the village.

Veera and Kanmani returned home after watching a movie and having dinner with the family. He stretched his arms and slumped on the couch pulling Kanmani to his lap.

Veera: Ennadi onnume pesama mattengura ? ( What is with you being all silent ? )

Kanmani: Practicing for our fake fight and who knows, what if get into a real fight ?

Veera:

He removed the pin holding her pallu and wrapped her saree around his neck. Kanmani tried to get away from him but he wound his arm around her chest and nuzzled his nose in the crook of her neck.

Kanmani: 

Kutti potta poona pola
Kaala chuthi kozhanja
Paavamunnu neevi vittaa
Kallu poda thuninja

Veera chuckled and placed wet kisses on her nape.

Veera :

Sondhakkaaran naan thaanae
Tthottu paakka koodaadhaa

Veera's palms moved a little down to grope her bosoms but Kanmani stopped whisking his hands away from her.

Kanmani: 

Kannam thodum kai rendum
Keezhae konjam neelaadhaa

Kanmani got away from his lap but he pulled her saree which came off completely. 

Veera :

Indha naattil theendaamai thaan
Innum ulladhaa

Kanmani picked his shirt which he had discarded to change into a different one before they left the home. Veera rose to his feet and yanked the shirt from her hand and locked her on the wall with his hands on her either side.

Kanmani: Pombala pullaiya ippadi nikka vechu pakkuriye vekkama illa ? ( Aren't you ashamed to look at a girl like this ?)

Veera: Naa yennoda pondatiya pakkuren, pakka mattum illa neraya seiven. ( I m looking at wife and I will do more than just looking )

She twisted his moustache and he smirked tracing her face with his finger which gradually moved down and stopped on the hooks of her blouse and the rest was history with a long night without sleep for the couples.
