Recap: Veera and Kanmani leave for Chennai. Kanmani gets remind of the past.

Veera and Kanmani reached the hotel at Chennai  and quickly got refreshed without any words being exchanged. Veera saw Kanmani was ready to leave and drove to the place where Jerry had called them and Veera made a call to Jerry.

Veera: Jerry, we have arrived to the location you wanted us to come.

Jerry: Good Veera, stay by there and if something goes wrong I will call you. Also don't be paranoid if you see similar cars following you. We have arranged that for safety purpose to divert our enemies to keep you and Anika safe. 

Veera: I understand and I hope everything goes well. We will wait for you call. Take care.

Jerry hummed and they cut the call. Veera looked at Kanmani who had her eyes closed.

Veera: How long will you kill me with this silence ? I m sorry I blurted out of frustration. Kanmani, On serious note what is wrong if I wanted to know the secret you are keeping me from ? Don't you think as husband and wife we are supposed to share everything ? 

Kanmani: Shall we focus on what we are here for ? I m really in a bad mood Veera.

Veera: Oh I see. As if I m here having the best moments of my life. 

Two hours later Veera received a message from Jerry to arrive to the mansion and wait for his call. 

Veera: Jerry's message. I think they are into problem and he wanted us to drive nearby the mansion and wait for his call.

Kanmani: Hope Anika is fine. God please stay with her and keep her strong. 

Veera drove to Ishwar's mansion and saw couple of cars entering the mansion. He stopped the car at the end of the road waiting for Jerry's call. He saw Kanmani was fidgeting with her fingers and her gaze fixed at the gate of the mansion.

He passed water to her but she refused still looking ahead of her.  An hour later his mobile blared with call from Jerry and he answered immediately.

Jerry: Veera, Anika is coming out of mansion. Pick up her and take her to village. Few cars will follow you until you are safe to leave the city. Come on quick.

Veera cut the call and drove towards the mansion. He saw Anika walking out of the mansion and stopped the car by her side which made her startled. Kanmani got down from the car and saw Anika as if she was there by co incidence.

Anika: Kanmani.....????

Kanmani: Anika...what are you doing here at this time and why are you crying ?

Anika: I...I...nothing...I m going somewhere...

Kanmani: Where are you going empty handed ? Are you in some problem Anika ? You can trust me.

Anika: Kanmani, can you let me stay your place for the night alone ?

Kanmani: I m returning to my village and if you don't have any problem you can stay with me there as long as you want. I will be happy if you come with me. You are like my sister Anika.

Anika hugged Kanmani and Kanmani patted her back trying to console her. Kanmani opened the door and Anika sat inside along with Kanmani. Veera started driving and at the same sent a message SAFE to Jerry. In a short time Veera saw a car was following them and accelerated to drive fast. Soon many cars similar to his started following as said by Jerry and that confused the enemy helping Veera to leave the city safely.

Kanmani pulled Anika's head to her lap and patted her slowly.

Anika: Am I troubling you Kanmani ? I will go somewhere else. I don't want to burden you.

Kanmani: Anika, I said you are my sister so stop speaking nonsense. You will come with me to our village. It is a beautiful place. I will not ask the reason behind your cries but please stop crying. I can't see you like this. I m sure you will get healed from your pains staying there.

Anika: Thank you so much Kanmani.. Kanmani....where is your village ?

Kanmani: Ayyankottai near Alanganallur. We will reach by morning. Don't worry I will take care of you until you want to return but don't you think you should inform your husband. He might be worried for you. Here take my mobile and call him.

Anika: No, please..not now...please Kanmani...

Kanmani: Ok Anika, don't cry. please.

Kanmani felt bad and tears left from the corner of her eyes looking at Anika who was sobbing. Veera saw the girls from the rear view and felt bad for them and himself. 

Veera Mv: Why does love hurt so much ? why can't people live in peace when they fall in love and why does love always has to come with pain ?

Few hours later the sobs stopped and he looked at Kanmani who was still caressing Anika's hair.

Veera: did she fall asleep ?

Kanmani hummed and he immediately called Radha and informed about their arrival so that she could be ready to receive Anika.

By morning they reached the village and Kanmani saw Anika was still asleep. Her eyes met Veera who was already looking at her. She glared at him gritting her teeth and averted her gaze from him. Kanmani shook Anika gently to wake her. Anika jerked and opened her eyes.

Kanmani: Anika, don't be scared. Its me. We have reached the village. I woke you up so that you will feel better to see the greenery of our village.

Anika turned her gaze to the window which welcomed her with evergreen scenery of a village. 

Kanmani: People will usually be active early in the morning.

The car stopped and Anika saw ahead that it was parked before a beautiful 2 storey house with trees and plants around. A few cattles tied to the trees and hens grazing the grains along with their chicks. Anika turned to Kanmani who smiled at her.

Kanmani: Anika, my home is a very small one. You will not be comfortable there. This place has given shelter to many people and you will safe here.

Anika: Kanmani, I will stay with you. I can stay anywhere and the place will not be a problem.

Kanmani: Don't worry, I will stay with you here. I will introduce the people and you will sure feel comfortable here.

Kanmani got down from the car and Anika followed her. Kanmani gave a stare to Veera who got down from the driver seat. Anika turned to him and Veera felt bad to see her in the broken state.

Anika: Thanks brother

Veera: No problem. Take rest sister. I will meet you later. I too live nearby here. If you want something then inform Kanmani and I will come immediately to help you.

Anika nodded slightly and Kanmani held Anika's wrist and walked inside the home calling "Maa, Sir".

Radha came out dressed in a cotton saree and hair tied in a bun followed by Krishnan who wearing a vest and dhothi. Both smiled looking at Kanmani and they saw Anika who had her gaze on the floor.

Kanmani: Maa, Sir, She is Anika. My sister from Chennai. Can she stay here for some days ?

Radha: She can stay however long she wants. She will be a daughter to us like you.

Kanmani: Anika, she is Radha maa and he is Krishnan Sir. 

Anika looked at the old couple and Radha came forward and hugged Anika. Krishnan patted her head giving her a gentle smile which gave a needed warmth to her heart. Radha broke the hug and cupped Anika's face and kissed her forehead which made her tear up.

Radha: sshhhh, Don't cry my child. We are with you so don't worry about anything. Now come inside and fresh up. We will have breakfast, you look very tired.

Radha held Anika's hand and they walked inside along with Krishnan but stopped hearing Kanmani's voice who stood with her hands on her hip.

Kanmani: Too bad Radha maa, now you forgot me after you got your daughter.

Radha: Hey chatter box, come inside and where is Veera ? Both came together right ?

Kanmani: I don't know whom you are asking about. I don't about anyone. Now I m hungry please give me some food. Meanwhile I will show room for Anika.

Kanmani took Anika to a room in the first floor which looked very cozy with a king size bed and curtains of her favourite color swaying from the window. A double door wardrobe and attached bathroom.

Kanmani: In this whole of house, only this room is bigger and will be comfortable. Adjust with this dear

Anika hugged Kanmani, her eyes still moist and Kanmani caressed her hairs.

Kanmani: I want you to relax and don't spoil your health Anika. I can guess that something bad happened which broke you but time heals everything and don't let something happen that you will regret when things turn out normal.

Their trance was broken when Radha came inside with some bags.

Radha: Child please don't cry, there are some dresses in this. Get ready and come down

Anika: You have already given space to stay and up on that I m troubling you so much.

Radha: You are not troubling us and we will be more than happy to do everything for you. Now come quickly and join us for breakfast.

Radha and Kanmani left Anika closing the door behind leaving her to get ready. Radha and Krishnan called all their maids and servants to the porch.

Krishnan: We have a guest in our home. We want you all to treat her with respect and care. Give all your love to her like you give for us. Do anything to make her smile. We want to see her happy until she stays here.

Everyone heard a throat clearing sound and turned to the side and saw Arul with a towel under his arm looking with a smirk.

Radha: Come Arul. Why are you standing there?

Arul: I m a VIP here and why do you worry ? If she is Kanmani's sister then she is my sister too. I will take care of my sister. Now move and give way for me.

" sister...sister " Arul screamed and entered the home. Anika bathed and changed into a green saree Radha gave her and came down and met Arul. He wiped his tears and held her hand by which she got startled.

Arul: sister, don't be afraid. I m your brother and I will be your saviour from today and keep you happy forever.

Radha: Anika, he is Arul, Kanmani's brother and now your brother too. He is very caring and you can trust him.

Arul: Thangachi sollu ma. Annan enna seiyanum.. Unna thooki tholula vechu oora suthi kattava illa thottil katti unna thalattu paadi thoonga veikkava ? ( tell me sister...what should I do ? Should I carry you on my shoulder and show around he village or should I get a cradle and put you to sleep singing a lullaby ?)

Veera hit Arul and he rolled his eyes at him with a pout.

Arul: Mapla, yenga da yennoda Kanmani papa. ( Buddy, where is my Kanmani baby )

Radha: Anika, this is Veera, Kanmani's soon to be fiance.

Anika: Sorry brother, I did not know you were her .......I m sorry.

Veera: No problem Anika. Did you have breakfast ?

Arul: En thangachi innum sapdalaya ? Maa ennama pandringa..konjam kooda poruppe illa..nee vaa ma namma sapda polam. ( My sister hasn't ate is it ? Maa, what are you doing ? very irresponsible you are. sister come lets go eat breakfast)

Anika: Thank you brother..I m not hungry..You all have..

Radha touched Anika's cheeks and smiled at her.

Krishnan: Anika, you should not stay empty stomach. come child eat a little atleast for us.

Kanmani came down dressed in a half saree and stopped as she saw Veera. She pulled Anika to the dining table and made her sit next to her. Radha came forward and served hot idly with sambar and took a piece of idly to Anika's mouth.

Anika's eyes teared with the love from everyone. Krishnan wiped her tears from other side and gestured her to open her mouth. Anika opened her mouth a little and Radha fed her. Kanmani was capturing everything from her mobile.

Arul: Kanmani enna ma panre ? ( Kanmani what are you doing dear ?)

Kanmani: This is scene to be captured for a beautiful memory so I m doing it.

Later Kanmani served breakfast to Krishnan, Arul and when she came to Veera she tried to leave but Radha's voice stopped her. Kanmani served breakfast in Veera's plate quickly and sat away from him.

Arul: When will you both stop your childishness and get married. Kanmani ?

Kanmani: I m not a child. If you are so desperate then you get married to him. No one is stopping you.

Arul: Manushan kalyanam pannuvana ivana ? appdinu sonna seruppala adi enna. En thangachi Kanmani kalyanam pannuva ivana. ( Will human marry him....Hit me with a slipper if I say so...my sister Kanmani will marry him )

Veera: Mooditu thinnu eruma ( Shut up and eat buffalo )

Anika watched them with a gentle smile on her lips while Kanmani shared the video to Ishwar.
