Recap: Veera and his mother leave for Chennai and Kanmani feels frustrated as she is unable to trap Singaram.

Veera arrived at Bangalore and called Kanmani to inform that he got settled in the service apartment the company has arranged for his stay until the project was completed. Kanmani spoke to him without letting him any clue on her spoilt mind with the issue of Singaram. Unbeknownst to her Arul was updating Veera on everything happening in his absence.

Kanmani arrived at the ground to train the students but felt annoyed and raged to see Singaram with his men conversing with the students.

Kanmani: What are you doing here ? They are children and they won't need any money from you so I think you are wasting your time here.

Singaram: Meeting you is not wasting my time Kanmani. I heard you visited Senthil but listen to me for one last time Kanmani. I have done nothing to you inspite of everytime you go against me and brainwash the people's mind because I respect your father and ofcourse your Manickam uncle. People have started losing trust in me and they are scared to borrow money from me and I can't tolerate it so I will give you an offer to prosper in both our lives. Marry my son. He is returning from US in 20 days and will never go against my words. Be my daughter in law and the I can restore the trust I lost from the people.

Kanmani laughed throwing her head and Singaram who got irritated slapped the man who was standing next to him. Kanmani composed and informed the students to leave before she turned her attention to Singaram.

Kanmani: If there is someone I hate with every cell in my body then it is you so don't get any ideas that will never happen even in your dreams.

Singaram: You should think of your father my dear future daughter in law. Poor man he is yet to see his daughter and son's marriage. May be he will accept my offer or should I say he should be already thinking of my offer. I met him early morning today. You have time so think of my words.

He left from there and Kanmani rushed back home to meet her father. She saw him lost in thoughts and Arul was out to the fields to work.

Kanmani: Appa, what did he say ? Did he threaten you ?

Ranga: No, he said what he wanted to but you don't worry about anything. Let go of this and remember you will not do anything against him until I ask you for.

Kanmani nodded her head and laid on the bed trying to calm her mind.

Two weeks passed and Veera , Kanmani called every night and spoke until they fell asleep. Both of them missed each other a lot and Veera tried to lift her mood with his usual flirty and romantic talks.

Kanmani was sitting on the rock in the backyard looking at the mobile. She was pissed when the call went unanswered for the 10th time. 

Kanmani Mv: Where are you Veera ? Are you so busy that you couldn't answer the call on friday night ? 

She remembered the last time when he said about his colleagues going out to night parties and having drinks on weekend.

Kanmani: If I get to know that you had gone to any of the parties or you had drunk then you will see my wrath Veera. I will twist your neck.

She heard a gasp and turned around searching for the person in the direction. She got down from the rock and ambled towards the hay bale from where she heard the gasp.

Kanmani: Hey who is that ? Better come out before I beat the shit out of you.

She picked a log and tried to hit the person but she was pushed against the hay and before she could scream the person shut her mouth with his palm. Kanmani saw it was none other than Veera. She pushed his hand away and hugged him immediately which Veera reciprocated happily.

Veera: All you do is scold me in absence and hug me when I m before you. 

Kanmani: Why didn't you answer my calls ? 

Veera: Would you have hugged me like this out of surprise if I had informed you ?

Veera cupped her face and pecked her forehead, eyelids, nose, cheeks and finally his lips met hers. They kissed pouring out all the missing feelings and his palms drew circles on bare waist pulling her closer.

Veera: I missed you 

He moaned smooching her jawline and neck.

Kanmani: I missed you more.

She pulled him holding his collars and smooched all over face. Veera chuckled to see her pouring out her emotions and hugged her to his chest.

Kanmani: Will you stay for some days ?

Veera: I will return tomorrow bunnybaby. Just 2 more weeks and I will come back forever. No more travelling leaving you alone.

Kanmani sobbed and Veera pulled back from the hug wiping he tears.

Veera: Hey what happened ? Why are you crying ? Kanmani, please don't cry. I won't be able to work in peace leaving you all crying here. Is there something that you want to share me ? Is there something that is troubling you ?

Kanmani: No, I m fine. just missed you. Come lets get inside. Appa will be happy to see you.

Veera: Not this way. I will come through the main road. You adjust your hair and half saree.

She nodded and Veera left from there. Kanmani rushed back to home and sat in the hall waiting for Veera to give his entry. She heard the sound of bike and rushed outside. She saw Veera and Arul getting down from the bike. Ranga stood from the chair looking at the young men.

Ranga: Veera, you didn't say that you were coming today ?

Veera: I got a day leave so thought of meeting you all and spend a day and have home food.

Ranga took them inside home and informed Kanmani to arrange dinner for Veera. She quickly prepared dosa and chutney for him and served him until he felt he couldn't take anymore.

Ranga: Veera neeyum, Arul um hall thoongunga, naa veliya thoonguren. ( Veera you and Arul sleep in the hall and I will sleep outside)

Veera: Illa mama, naa veetukku poren. Kaalaila varen. ( No uncle, I will go home and return in the morning )

Ranga smiled at his thought and nodded his head. Later Arul accompanied Veera to stay with him. Kanmani returned to her room and Veera called her.

Kanmani: You could have stayed here Veera.

Veera: Lets not give people any chance to gossip about my stay at night. I will stay after we get married. Now sleep and I m tired too. I will meet you in the morning.

Kanmani retired to sleep and all she did was blush reminiscing the kiss they shared in the backyard.

Morning Veera and Arul arrived at Ranga's home and saw Kanmani very busy in the kitchen.

Arul: Thangachi ennama breakfast ready ah ? ( sister, is the breakfast ready ?)

Kanmani: Yes, dosa fish curry and mutton briyani, prawn fry for lunch. 

Arul and Veera sat on the floor and Kanmani started serving them. When Veera and Kanmani looked at each other he winked at her that made her cheeks turn red.

Veera: Kanmani, how is the training going on for the students in the government school ?

Kanmani: I m starting tomorrow and it will go on for 10 days. 

Veera: Good. You will be busy then for the next 10 days. 

Arul: What is your plan ?

Veera: I m returning to Chennai tonight to meet amma and leave for Bangalore tomorrow night.

Arul: Any changes ?

Veera: I haven't spoke of anything and same goes to amma. We have 2 more weeks for my job to end so lets talk after that. I will bring her here.

Veera entered the kitchen and hugged Kanmani giving a chaste kiss on her cheek. She glared at him but he shrugged and pinched her waist.

Veera: You purposely wore half saree today knowing I couldn't keep my hands of you. Didn't you?

Kanmani swat his hand and gestured him to leave the kitchen but Veera pinched her lips pecking them.

Veera: You look hot.

Arul: I m waiting for a long time. 

Veera choked and walked out of kitchen rubbing his nape in embarrassment. Kanmani didn't meet Arul's eyes and turned towards the refrigerator as if she was searching for something. Once Arul left she facepalmed for being caught but blushed for all the little encounters they were sharing.

They spend the whole day stealing glances, hugs, kisses and Kanmani cooked food for him. They watched movie together and by night Veera was ready to leave and Kanmani packed dinner for him.

Veera: Just 2 more weeks Kanmani. Next time we meet I m not settling with hugs and kisses. I want more to compensate for this whole month of staying away from you.

Kanmani: Convince your mother and we shall get married. You know a lot can be done then.

Veera: Don't provoke me. Its hard for me to leave already. Wish I knew some magic and I could set everything easy for us to get married.

Kanmani smiled and he left giving a peck on her forehead. Arul dropped him at the railway station and Kanmani started missing him already.

Kanmani Mv: Two more weeks.

Morning Veera arrived at his flat in Chennai and his mother was surprised to see him.

Mathi: Veera, nee vara nu sollave illa ( Veera, you never you would be coming )

Veera: Just for today maa and I will be returning tonight.

Veera retired to his room to refresh and when he returned to the hall Mathi served him breakfast. They spent sometime having general conversations about his office, project and Mathi as usual was ranting about the incidents happening in the apartment.

Mathi: Association has become worse Veera. Last week one of the boys here was bullying a girl but there was no action taken. I think we should shift to some other place.

Veera: This is our own home. Where do you want to leave from here ?

Mathi: I don't want to get into any trouble Veera. People are worse. Actually there are few men, they are a group and the way they look at women is disgusting.

Veera: I will talk to association and inform them to file a complaint against them.

Mathi: No, don't do anything like that. We have nothing to do with them.

Veera: Its not good to be quiet when people are harassing women. What if they do this to you or Kanmani when she is here ?

Mathi: did you speak to her ? Did she agree to whatever I said ?

Veera: Maa, lets not talk about this now.

Mathi: No Veera, by the time you return from Bangalore I want an answer else you will agree to whatever I decide for your life. 

Veera's mood turned foul and he returned to his room to rest for sometime. By evening when he was walking in the park of the apartment he saw few men laughing but actually they were passing comments at the women who were playing throw ball.

Veera: Are you not ashamed to do this ? You have women at your home too. There will be your wife, mother or daughter some day playing here and would you be happy to see someone passing comments like you are doing now ?

Before there could be any response Mathi pulled Veera away with her.

Mathi: I let you spend a month at Village and see you have started being a rebel. Better stay out of other's business Veera. Go pack your things to leave.

Veera was in the verge of losing his patience but he didn't want to upset her when he was leaving so he just turned around and entered the lift pressing the button to his floor.

Veera boarded the train and the first thing he did was calling Kanmani who answered it immediately.

Kanmani: Veera, you boarded the train ?

Veera: hmmm. Kanmani, will you listen to my words and agree to it for once ?

Kanmani: what happened ? 

Veera: I want you to say everyone that you are willing to leave the village and settle in Chennai after marriage. I m serious this time.
