Recap: Arul stop Kanmani from interfering in Singaram's matter. Later they all spend time together in the mango grove.

Finally it was the day when Veera and Mathi decided to return Chennai. They did all their packing and informed Radha and Krishnan about their return. Veera and Mathi arrived at Ranga's home in the evening and Kanmani cooked dinner and packed for them to have on their way back.

Mathi: Anna, Veera Bangalore la irundhu vandha odane naa call panren. Namba pesuvom.              ( Brother, I will call you as soon as Veera return from Bangalore. we will talk then.)

Ranga: Ellam nallabadiya nadakkum. Veera modhalla velaiya mudikkatum.     ( Everything will happen to be good only. Let Veera complete his work first )

Mathi: Kanmani adhukulla nalla mudivu edu ma. Veera mela irukka adhey akkara unmelayum enakku irukku.  ( Kanmani, come to a good decision by then. I care for you the same way I do for Veera)

Kanmani looked at Ranga, Arul and then Veera who did not avert his eyes from her. She did not speak a word but nodded her head agreeing to Mathi's words. Arul placed the luggage in the trunk of the car and Kanmani was hardly holding her tears.

Veera: Kanmani, konjam thanni kudu. ( Kanmani give me some water )

Ranga: Mathi come inform the neighbours before you leave.

Veera thanked Ranga for understanding and once they all walked out he entered the kitchen and pulled Kanmani to his chest kissing her forehead. All the tears she was holding back rolled down her cheeks and he wiped them kissing her cheeks.

Veera: Azhadha di mosakutty. Kashtama irukku pakka ( Stop crying bunny baby. It hurts to see you cry )

Kanmani: Veera, varuva la.. naa wait pannuven Veera. Vitradha da.. ( Veera, you will come right ? I will wait for you Veera.. Don't leave me )

Veera: Vitta naa sethuruven di ( I will die if I leave you )

Kanmani threw her hands around his neck and they engulfed each other in a bone crushing hug.

Kanmani: Ettu varushatha vida indha oru masam nee illama romba valikum. Romba miss pannuven Veera. ( this one month without you will give more pain than those eight years. I will miss you a lot Veera )

Veera: I will miss you a lot. I will call you daily. I will try to come on a weekend to see you. Concentrate on training the students and share me photos and videos. 

He cupped her face and kissed all over face. Kanmani held his collars crashed her lips on his as they kissed with all the passion. When they pulled back from the kiss he cupped her face and a placed a kiss on her forehead.

Kanmani gave water to him and once he finished drinking he pulled out his purse and gave some money to her.

Kanmani: Edhukku idhu. Vendam. Enakku theva padathu. ( Why this ? No, I will not need it )

He took her hand and placed the money in her palm.

Veera: Idhellam ennoda aasa. Ennoda pondatikku kudukkanum nu. Selavau panu illa sethu vei enna venumo pannu. Jaakirathaiya iru Kanmani. ( This is my wish to give my wife. Spend it or save it do however you wish. Be safe Kanmani )

Kanmani nodded her head and took the tiny box from the pooja room and applied a thin line of holy ash on his forehead. He pulled her pressing his forehead to her and transferred the holy ash from his forehead to her's.

Veera: Lets go. They will be waiting for us.

Kanmani nodded her head and wiped her face and they walked out. On seeing Veera coming out Ranga opened the back door for Mathi and once she was seated he opened the passenger door for Veera but they hugged each other before he got seated. Arul sat in the driver seat and he bade bye to Ranga and Kanmani as the car started moving.

Kanmani watched the car until it was out of her sight and Ranga patted her back to console her. She returned to her room and broke down. Her mobile pinged with a notification and she saw it was a smiley emoji from Veera which made her smile at his thought of knowing that she would cry once he left. Wiping away her tears she replied a kiss emoji to him.

They kept sharing emojies until Arul dropped him at Dindigul railway station. Veera hugged Arul and spoke only for him to hear.

Veera: Andha Singaram nala yedhuvum prechana vandha enakku call pannu naa odane varen. Nee unnoda thangachiya paathukuven irundhalum solren en pondatiya naa vara varaikkum paathuko machan. ( If any problem arises because of that Singaram then call me and I will come immediately. I know you will take care your sister still take care of my wife until I m back )

Arul: Don't worry. focus on your work and keep calling her when you are free. 

Veera hummed and Arul turned to Mathi.

Arul: Aunty if you are bored then call me, I will come with appa and Kanmani. We shall go sight seeing in Chennai.

Mathi: You can come even if I don't miss you. 

Arul returned home only when the train started moving. Once Veera and Mathi got settled and got their tickets checked Veera opened the boxes to have dinner. He found one box with idly and one dosa and with a smile he gave the idly box to Mathi.

Mathi: Dosa for you and idly for me is it ? Why, did I say I won't eat dosa ? 

Veera opened another two boxes and passed the one with chicken curry to Mathi and kept the fish curry for himself.

Veera: She knows you like idly and chicken curry and I like dosa with fish curry so she made it to both our likings.

Mathi: I was only kidding don't make a villain. I will be most happy if she agrees to marriage without any condition. Also don't forget she is my niece.

 Veera: hmm yeah I saw your bonding at the temple fair and mango grove. We all were shocked to see you all lovey dovey.

Mathi: We were always like that. Just because we have difference with the marriage condition it doesn't mean I hate her. I don't want her to get into any trouble the same way I wish for you. I want both of you to be safe.

Veera hummed and they started with their dinner. He licked his fingers on finishing the dinner and Mathi laughed at him.

Mathi: Don't swallow the box or your finger. Come back soon and convince her soon to get married.

Veera: Amma, can we have a simple wedding ? Why should we waste money ?

Mathi: You are my only son so I have dreams for it. If you are worried about money then don't worry, I have saved money for your marriage. We will do a grand wedding and people should talk about it for years.

Veera Mv: Odi poi kalyanam panna kooda varusha kanakula pesuvanga. Eppadi dhan kalyanam nadakkumo ? ( People will talk for years even if we run away and get married. How will the marriage happen ?)

Veera: We will see maa. Go to sleep and I will wake you when we arrive at Chennai.

He sent a tasty emoji to Kanmani for the dinner and they chatted for sometime before they retired to sleep.

The next day early morning Kanmani arrived outside of Bommi's home and called her to come out. Bommi came out yawning and scratching her head.

Bommi: Ennadi, pei madhiri indha time la vandhu irukka ? ( Why have you come at this time like a ghost ?)

Kanmani: Time is 5. Come with me. We are going somewhere.

Bommi: Iva kooda friend ah irundhu oru naal kooda late ah endhirikka mudiyala. ( Being friend with her, I can't wake up late even for a day )

Bommi closed the door and followed Kanmani. They reached Senthil's home and saw his wife sweeping the entrance of their home. Looking at Kanmani she called her inside and woke up Senthil.

Senthil: Why have you come at this time Kanmani ?

Kanmani: Senthil brother, I want to know some details from you so I had to come at this time. What happened to the case you filed on Singaram ?

Senthil: I should have not done that in the first place. Someone from the station gave him information about my arrival to file complaint against him so he got anticipatory bail. Police wanted me to try to settle with Singaram but he came home and insulted us in front of the whole villagers.

Kanmani: what is the status of the case now ?

Senthil's wife: Singaram threatened to return the money immediately or take back the case. We didn't have money to return him so we took back the case. He has given us three months to return the money.

Kanmani: Do you have any documents that you have agreed to pay more interest to him ?

Senthil: I signed an agreement but that is with Singaram. He doesn't give a copy to anyone who take money from him.

Kanmani: Have you ever transferred money or interest to his back account ?

Senthil: He doesn't make any bank transaction and deals only with cash.

Kanmani: Avana eppadi dhan sikka vekkuradhu ? ( How do we trap him then ?)

Senthil: the problem is he has most of our problem trapped and only a few haven't taken loan from him. People who have borrowed money won't dare to go against him.

Kanmani: Senthil brother how about we take this matter to the collector and we can use his influence to gather evidence against him.

Senthil and his wife started laughing hearing Kanmani's words.

Senthil: when I went to Singaram's home to tell him that I have taken back my case I saw collector's PA. Singaram has hands with collector, Councillor and MLA. From what I heard  that day it seems like they all are into this business.

Bommi: Appo avana onnume panna mudiyadha ? ( So, we can't do anything to him is it ?)

Senthil: hmmm. If we dare to go against him then he won't hesitate to even kill.

Kanmani: We will find some way out of this. How much do you have to pay him ?

Senthil: 3 lakhs 25 thousand. 

Kanmani: Senthil brother try to pay him back and in this three months we will find a way to trap him. 

Kanmani and Bommi returned home and saw Ranga preparing tea. 

Ranga: where did you go in the morning ?

Bommi: Walking uncle. You are becoming old so you should also go for walk in the morning. Its good for health.

Arul came out and sat on the coir cot taking a glass of tea for him.

Arul: Walking to Senthil's home in the early morning ?

Bommi: follow panniya da bodysoda ? ( Did you follow us bodysoda ?)

Kanmani explained everything that Senthil said her and Ranga sighed getting up from the chair.

Ranga: What do you think we can do in this Kanmani ?

Kanmani: I will find a way to get him punished appa. I will not rest until then.. He doesn't deserve to live.

Kanmani stormed off inside her home leaving everyone shocked.
