Recap: Veera and Kanmani spend tiem together. Veera gets promoted as team lead for a project in Bangalore and decided to take it.

The first day of temple fair Kanmani got dressed in a half saree and and plaited her hair adorning it with flowers. She came out and saw Arul, Bommi and Veera waiting for her and Veera winked at her.

Veera and Arul drove the bike and Kanmani drove the TVS champ with Bommi behind her. They parked the vehicles and saw the entire surroundings of the temple set up with various shops and swinging boat, little merry go round, chat shops. The songs blasted around the entire surrounding through the speaker tied in every corner. Few police in duty to check for safety of the public. 

They heard the announcement of Krishnan and Radha making their special pooja in the temple. Bommi shook her body in excitement and pulled Kanmani to the shops one by one looking at everything.

Kanmani: Yendi, paathute irukka onnume vaanga matra. ( Hey girl, you are just seeing them and not buying anything ?)

Bommi: Adhukku dhan rendu peru varanga la ( Two people are coming only for that)

Kanmani chuckled and saw Arul and Veera calling them standing infront of an ice cola shop. She ran to them with Bommi and bought many flavours slurping the juice from it. Veera was tempted to look at her colorful lips from sipping the colas and moved next to her without Arul and Bommi noticing. He nudged her to give her cola to him but she shook her head denying. 

Veera: Konjamachum romance pannu di. (girl,  do a little romance atleast )

Kanmani gave her cola and yanked his from him. He watched her lips slurping the juice from the cola and groaned when she teased him pouting her lips. Veera glared at her took a bite of the cola in his hand and chewed threatening her back.

Kanmani: Avlo veri mappilaikku ? ( so much lust dude ?)

Veera smirked and wiped his lips sprinkling the juice on her. She nudged him with her hip and moved past him.

Veera: Enna iduppu da samy.. iru di oru naal sulukku edukkuren. ( what a hip .. wait grl, one day i will sprain it )

Kanmani saw Ranga and Mathi coming together and smiled at them.

Kanmani: Mathi aunty, you are late. Come buy me bangles. Its been so many years you bought me bangles.

She pulled Mathi to a bangle shop and Mathi picked a few bangles and slid in Kanmani' s hand and smiled genuinely when she saw Kanmani smiling at those bangles. Kanmani too picked bangles for Mathi and they went from one shop to another buying clips, hair bands, bindi etc.. etc..

Arul and Veera followed them along with Bommi with their jaws dropped down.

Arul: Oru vela rendu perukkum pei pudichiducho ? ( what if they both are possessed by some ghost ?)

Veera squinted his eyes looking at Arul and he shrugged pointing to Kanmani and Mathi.

Bommi: They both are laughing and doing shopping as if nothing happened until yesterday night. Did I miss something in the morning ?

Veera: Don't forget they used to be like this before I left to Chennai. They don't hate each other but their thoughts has changed over years. This environment has brought their hidden love outside and they are enjoying so lets not disturb them.

Arul: Andha ayyanar dhan rendu perukkum nalla budhi kudukkanum. ( That lord Ayyanar only should give good thoughts to both of them )

Veera: Arul you go enjoy and I will follow them.

Arul gave a shy smile and pulled Bommi with him. Veera sat on a rock and watched Mathi pinning more flowers to Kanmani's hair and smiled at the sight.

Veera: How good it would be if they are happy and compromising in all matters ? 

He saw them returning with a big papad in their hand and sat next to him. Kanmani was about to feed Veera but stopped when she saw Mathi giving him from her hand.

Mathi: Veera, enakku kaal lam valikudhu adhunala veetukku poren. ( Veera, my legs are paining so I m going home )

Kanmani: Veera go drop her at home. 

Veera: hmm, You go join Arul and I will be back soon.

She smiled and Veera and Mathi left from there. Kanmani did not disturb Arul so waited in the same place looking around the people enjoying their time. 30 minutes later Veera returned and saw Kanmani in the same spot and sat next to her.

Veera: mosakutty Arul kooda dhane irukka sonnen inga enna panra ? ( Bunny baby, I told you to be with Arul then what are you doing here ?)

Kanmani: Didn't want to disturb him.

Veera pulled Kanmani with him to the bangle shop. 

Kanmani: Veera, Mathi aunty bought me bangles already. Lets go somewhere else or buy something for you to eat.

Veera: You asked me to buy bangles and whoever may buy bangles to you but mine will be special isn't it ?

Kanmani nodded her head with a smile and he bought bangles in all colors to match for all her dresses. 

Veera: Nalaikku indha valayal dhan podanum nane vandhu potu vidren. ( Wear this bangles tomorrow. I will make you wear myself )

They moved on to a chat shop and bought few chats. Returning to the parking she started eating the chat sitting on the bike. From the peripheral view she saw Veera looking at her and fed him a few morsel.

Veera: So kind of you. Finally you got the heart to pity me and feed a little. 

Kanmani: Stop ranting and eat quietly or else go eat on your own. Veera where will Mathi aunty live when you go to Bangalore ? Did you speak with her ?

Veera: I haven't spoke about it. What difference will make if she stays here or in Chennai ? Let her decide that and I don't want to force her in this matter. 

Kanmani: What about clothes for you if you are planning to stay for a month in Bangalore ?

Veera: Anyhow I will have to report to my office before going to Bangalore so I will pack my things from home and leave from there.

Kanmani: Seri Bangalore la ponnunga lam romba azhaga irupangalam sir eppadi olunga irupingala illa ayyappanukku maala pottu anupatuma ?                                                                                      ( Fine but I heard girls will be beautiful in Bangalore so how about you sir ? Will you behave properly or should I do make you wear a holy mala for lord ayyappan ?)

Veera: Eight years you were not there to watch me or I did not wear any holy mala for any god to keep my heart and mind in control. If I wanted to cheat on you then I would have not been here today after these many years still fighting with my mother to marry you.

He swat her hand when she was about to feed and walked away. Kanmani jumped down from the bike and ran behind him.

Kanmani: Deii Veera nillu da.. naa chumma dhan sonnen. Nee adhukellam seri pattu vara matta theriyum. Kindal panna dhan appadi sonnen. Nillu da.  ( Hey Veera, stop man. I was only kidding. I know you will not fit to that so I just said that to teased you. Stop man )

She caught his wrist stopping him and looked around if someone was watching and quickly pecked his cheek. Veera pouted and touched his cheek.

Veera: Panradhellam pannitu ippadi oru umma kudukka vendiyadhu. ( Do everything you are intended to do and then give a kiss like this )

Kanmani: Give it back if you don't like it then.

Veera: I will give with interest when we return home now come lets go and find Arul. 

They found Arul standing by the merry go round and Kanmani ran to him calling him to stop it for her to join it. Arul informed the man to stop the wheel and Kanmani sat in one of the basket and once the merry go round started rotating she waved hands to Arul and Veera. Bommi threw some peanuts from above her and Kanmani tried to catch them.

After the merry go round they went to the swinging boat and everyone got settled. Veera was looking at Kanmani when the boat was swinging and she was enjoying completely whereas Bommi was screaming and holding Arul for support.

Veera Mv: At times like her being brave doesn't help us being romantic.

Once the boat stopped Bommi jumped out holding her head and Kanmani was laughing. She saw Veera standing a poker face and cocked her eyebrows.

Veera: I thought you will be scared and holding my hand or atleast lean on me but nothing happened. When will you be romantic Kannu ? I have lot dreams for our wedding night don't disappoint me.

Kanmani: first your mother has to agree for our marriage then we need to get married only then we can think of it so stop day dreaming and come lets go put mehendi for my hand.

Veera: Why ?

Kanmani: what why ? Look there all girls are getting mehendi in their hands.

Veera: If you want I will do it for you and there is not need for someone else to hold your hand for doing it. 

Arul: thangachi, annan unakku marudhani marathaiye kondu veran ingalam venam vaa polam.     ( sister, don't get mehendi done here. I will get a mehendi tree for you. come lets go )

Veera: Kedaikura onnu rendu chance kooda ivan keduthi vidran di. ( He is spoiling even the one or two chances I get girl )

Kanmani: He won't spoil but if you don't get mehendi for me then I will come back here on myself get mehendi on my hand from that man. 

Veera showed his pinky and Kanmani raised her hand to hook her pinky but Bommi came in between earning a smack on her head from Veera.

Veera: Podi andha pakkam eppo pathalum kurukka vandhutu. ( Go away that side. Always coming in between )

Kanmani burst out laughing and hooked her pinky with his as they started following Arul and Bommi. On way Veera bought a cotton candy and they secretly shared between them. After a long day of going around they were exhausted and returned home welcomed by the aroma of chicken and fish curry cooked by Ranga for them.
