A fine morning in Kaushalya Mension

As usual, Ruhana was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for her family. Today she's making everyone's favourite dishes, especially Vineets and Ruhaani's. It wasn't anything special today for them but she knew the father daughter duo must be angry now because of last night's incident and also today is her special day, it's her birthday today. So she wants to celebrate this with her family. 

Well, every year Vineet is the first who wishes her that too exact at 12 O'clock but this year he hasn't wished her till now, maybe because she threw them out of the room last night. Anything could be the reason, she brushed off her thoughts and concentrated on her work.

Kaushalya was in the dining area sipping her tea and reading the newspaper when Ruhaani came running and settled beside her, she was dressed in her school dress. Kaushalya look at her in surprised,

"kya baat hai aaj bina apni mumma ke hi ready ho gayi wo bhi itni jaldi, not bad" kaushalya said, looking at her through the corner of her eyes,

Ruhaani pull the newspaper so that kaushalya's full attention would be on her, "Ruhaani aab big girl ho gayi hai, toh wo ready ho sakti hai" Ruhaani exclaims,

"aacha, Ruhaani ek raat mein hi big girl ho gayi" Kaushalya asked teasingly, at which Ruhaani nodded her head affirmatively

Just then Vineet also join them, he was ready as well in his formals,

"kya baat hai, dono baap beti ki Jodi ek hi raat mei itna sudhar gayi" Kaushalya tease Vineet

"ohh maa! Aapko apni bahu ke siwa sab galat hi lagte hai, huh, hum pehle se hi sudhre the" Vineet exclaims making faces as Kaushalya always takes Ruhana side and not the father daughter

"aab tu kuch aise kaam kare tab toh teri side lu na, jab dekho toh kaam mei hi busy rehta hai aur jab kaam na ho toh bhi behki behki baatein karta hai. Aise mei main teri side kyun lu" Kaushalya asked, raising her brows, she can make out that Vineet is irritated over something so she's teasing him.

"haan toh na lo meri side, meine kab kaha lo. Waise bhi sab apni manmarzi karte hai aaj kal hum masoomon ki toh koi sunta hi nahi" Vineet spoke glancing at Ruhana who just came out of the kitchen with a tray in her hand, Ruhana smile at his words.

"aur kya, Daddy sahi bol rahe hum dono ki koi nahi sunta" Ruhaani too join her father,

Kaushalya look at Ruhana then at Vineet and Ruhaani "aaj suraj kahan se nikla hai bhai, Ruhaani ko apne daddy ki baat sahi lag rahi hai" Kaushalya laugh, Ruhana too join her. 

Vineet and Ruhaani glare at the ladies this makes them laugh harder, Vineet sigh. He takes his coffee and Ruhaanis milk from the tray, handing the milk to Ruhaani he savours his coffee. After that they had their breakfast silently which was very unusual. They are never silent on the dining table especially when they get their favourite dishes but today they are silent. 

Ruhana sighed, it's going to be hard to convince these two. 

After breakfast Vineet said that he'll drop Ruhaani to her school, which was another shock for both the ladies. They couldn't believe their ears but before they could ask duo leave the house,

"kuch toh pakka raha hai baap beti ke bich, i'm telling you" Kaushalya said to Ruhana and move to her room, Ruhana shook her head when her eyes fall on Ruhaani's lunch box, she immediately ran out of the house taking the lunch box.

As she reach the parking she found that Vineet was talking over the phone in one side of the area, and his car can't be seen from the place where he was standing, Ruhana marched towards him with cat paws and wrapped her arms around him, Vineet jumped at his place and turn to her. He cut the call.

"tum, aab kya hai" he asked straightforwardly

"aab tak gussa ho kya" she asked snuggling towards him, he move back

"ooh aab kyun chipak rahi ho tum, huh, kal toh nikal diya mujhe room se" he make faces glaring at her,

"arey, wo toh tum dono ne irritate hi itna kar diya tha. Lekin fir main aai thi dekhne toh dono so rahe the, aab jaga kaise deti" she reason

"main nahi manta" Vineet declared

"lekin main aai thi" Ruhana exclaims

"wo jo bhi ho, aab kyun aai ho tum, maine baat nahi karni tumse" Vineet said firmly

Ruhana grinned,"kiss bhi nahi leni?" She questioned

"nahi" Vineet said crossing his arms around his chest and turn his head to other side but also was glancing at her through the corner of their eyes, Ruhana move closer to him and wrapped his arms around his neck

"pakka?" she asked, whispering in his ears

Vineet clear his throat, trying to maintain his anger but couldn't able to and ended up wrapping his arms around her waist,"tum chaho toh de sakti ho" he spoke smiling, Ruhana laugh at his antics and pecked his both cheeks which make him smile wide, he tighten his grip around her and quickly captured her lips. 

He's never gonna miss any chance!!

He pull back his head while she laugh and said, "chalo toh apni galti mani tumne?" She asked smiling at him, his expression changed and he left her,

"huh, pappiyan de ke apni galti mere naam karna chahti ho, very bad. Huh, main na karta baat tumse" he exclaimed and left the place taking the tiffin from her hand, Ruhana was left with an open mouth.

How mean he is, after taking a kiss he again started his drama, huh, she is not gonna do anything now. She stamped her foot and marched in the house. 

On the other side, after dropping Ruhaani to her school Vineet reaches to his office. He directly headed to his cabinet only to find Sudhir and his business partner Akshat waiting for him. He sighed to see Sudhir but said nothing, they greeted him sweetly and he reciprocated with the same manner. Vineet asked about the sudden appearance of them in his office to which Akshat said that he just came to drop a file here and Sudhir asked to accompany him to which he agreed. Vineet gaze at Sudhir,

"kyun bhai, tumko kyun aana tha yahan" Vineet questioned,

Sudhir smile ear to ear that only anger him, Sudhir take out a box from his office bad and place it on the table before Vineet, "kal bhabhi ji ye meri car mei bhool gayi thi, wahi dena tha tumhe" he exclaims, Vineet glance at the box. 

"lekin ye uska nahi hai, tumhe koi galat fehmi hui hogi" Vineet spoke as he have never seen that box before,

"lekin ye bhabhi ji hi chod gayi thi, ek baar pucho toh sahi unse" Sudhir said, Akshat also said that there is no harm in asking as it will clear their doubt. Though Vineet didn't want to call her but just to prove himself right he called her and asked about the box. He came to know that the box is a mini makeup kit gifted by her friend. Dejectedly Vineet disconnected the call, Sudhir smirk at his victory

"kaha tha na Bhabhi ji ki hai, main kaise galti kar sakta hoon unki chizein pehchan ne mei" he stated with a smirk playing on his lips, Vineet gaze at him when he found Akshat moving out of the cabin to attend a call,

Taking a deep breath Vineet said,"Suna hai tumhari wife pregnant hai" 

Sudhir shook his head negatively "nahi toh, ye galat khabar kisne pahucha di tum tak" he asked, surprised.

Vineet glare at him, "toh duso ki bajaye apni biwi pe dhyan do na" he said angrily

Sudhir was left shock, he look at Vineet with open mouth, "arey ye kya bol rahe ho" he asked,

Before replying, in a swift movement Vineet held his tie and pull him, "wahi jo tum samajh rahe ho, ye meri first aur last warning hai agar aaj ke badh tum kahin bhi meri biwi ke aas pass dikhe toh fir apni biwi ke saath na dikhoge kabhi" Vineet warned him and pushed him, Sudhir glance at him for few good seconds, later he left the office.

On the other side, Ruhana was sad as no one has wished her this year neither Vineet nor Ruhaani or Kaushalya, it seems they have forgotten her birthday but this never happened in the past years, they have never forgotten her birthday. She sighed deeply while scrolling her phone screen, some of her friends have messaged her on whatsapp and Instagram, she thanked them and off her cell. At the same time, Kaushalya entered in the room,

"disturb toh nahi kiya" Kaushalya asked as she found her laying on the bed.

Ruhana sat up and said, "nahi maa, bas koi kaam nahi tha toh leti thi. Koi kaam tha aapko" she asked

"Haan, wo kal Chaube ji ke pote ka birthday hai toh main soch rahi thi ki mall jaa ke kuch acha sa gift le aate" Kaushalya said, Ruhana nodded and got ready. Later on they leave the house for the mall.

Day passed in a blur, Ruhana and Kaushalya spent the day in the mall shopping for the birthday boy as well as for themselves while Vineet was in the office. Today he picked Ruhaani from the school as per his mother's command.

It was already 7 pm when Kaushalya and Ruhana reached home. As their car enter the main gate they found that the lights of the house were off,

"ye servants bhi na light tak nahi jalate bina kahe" Kaushalya said, a tinge of anger was clearly audible in her voice.

The car stopped and they descended down the car, the ladies entered the house as the door was ajar. Darkness was spread in the house,

"beta jara lights on toh karo, itna andhera hai kuch dikh bhi nahi raha hai" Kaushalya said, Ruhana nodded her head and moved to the switch board. She switched on the lights and turned to Kaushalya, She was left flabbaster to see the view before her eyes, the whole house was decorated beautifully with red and white balloons along with red roses and purple orchids as a part of decoration, and many guests were present in the hall.

Ruhaani came running towards Ruhana and hugged her by wrapping her arms around her waist,

"happie birthday mumma" she exclaims and pulls her by her hand, Ruhana bent down to match her level. Ruhaani kissed her cheeks,

"Ruhaani ko yaad tha mumma ka birthday" Ruhana asked, she shook her head positively,

"meko toh subha se hi yaad tha, Daddy ne bola aapko nahi bolne ko kyon ki humko ye surprise party deni thi na" Ruhaani exclaims revealing the truth, Ruhana kissed on her cheeks, 

Kaushalya came to them and said Ruhana to get ready as the guests were waiting, Ruhana nodded and moved to her room. As she entered she found a wrapped box on the bed, she unwrapped it and it turned out a beautiful gown, Ruhana smiled and moved into the dressing room with the dress. She removed the dress she was wearing and slipped in the gown. The gown has many layers which created problems also she wasn't being able to zip up the dress, she tried several times but the result remained the same. She sighed, 

"main kuch help karu" this voice hit her ear drums, she turn her head only to find Vineet standing with the support of wall and was smiling at her,

"tum kab aaye?" she questioned as she has locked the door ,

"main toh washroom mein tha, tumne dekha nahi" he exclaims, moving towards her,Ruhana make a face

"subah toh baat nahi karni thi ab kyun aaye?" she asked turning to the mirror, Vineet stood behind her such that she could see his reflection in the mirror. he placed his hands on her shoulder and whisper in her ears,

"wo toh ab bhi nahi karni" he exclaims and places his lips on her shoulder to end the conversation. 

He removed her hair from her back and settled them one side. He took hold on the zip and pulled it up gently, his fingers touching her bare back which aroused goosebumps in her body. She glanced at him in the mirror and found him already staring at her. He was smiling at her. After zipping the dress, he made her sit on the chair. He styled her hair in waterfall braids from a side and pinned a white flower semi hemisphere hair clip in her hair to the other side, Ruhana applied minimal makeup on her face while he sat on his knees in front of her. He held her ankle and placed her leg on his thigh. He moves his hand under her dress to arrange the layers of gown, making sure that his hands don't miss any inch of her smooth legs. His touch was passing chills down her spine, while he was busy in her process, teasing her at the same time. She held his hand when she found it moving upward. 

He looked up at her, they stared at each other for a few good seconds. In the next moment, she pinned him to the cupboard and captured his lips, a race of wild passionate smooch began, she pressed her body on his while he clutched her tightly. Both were fully ready to go down and celebrate the party but the building desires take over their mind. He was desperate so was she. 

Vineet took a turn and pinned her on her cupboard, he pulled back his head, both were out of breath. Vineet pressed his lips on her neck and place open mouth kisses while she just moan his name sweetly which make him crazy, he move down to her cleavage, when they heard a voice,

" mumma, aur kitni der chalo na niche cake cut karna hai" Ruhaani shouted excitedly from the other side of the door, Vineet pull back his head and laugh,

"ye mere ko romance na karne degi, isko hamesha aana hi hota hai" he glance at Ruhana, "chalo chale, aage ka karya kram raat ko agar ye maa ke pass so jaaye toh" he spoke, Ruhana laughed at his words and playfully slapped on is arms. 

"aur agar naa gayi toh" Ruhana asked, 

Vineet tend to think, "toh aaj guest room mei so jaayenge" he exclaims and wink at her, 

"mummaaaa" Ruhaani's voice echoes in the room, 

"Arey chalo chalo, lagta hai issi ka birthday hai. Subha se sabse jyada teji issi ko hai cake cut karne ki" Vineet exclaims and stood up, he help her as well. He smooch her lips for one last time, 

"chalo haato aab, bada pyar aa raha hai abhi subha se toh pareshan kiya" she taunted 

Vineet wrapped his arms around her shoulder "raat ko sabka compensation saath mei de dunga" he smirk. Ruhana push him while he laugh. 

They straighten their dress and open the door, Ruhaani was standing at the door, she pulls Vineet's hand asking him to lift her in his arms, he did the same. Ruhaani cupped Ruhanas hand and pecked her cheeks,

" mumma you're looking beautiful" Ruhaani exclaims, Ruhana smile at her words and kissed her forehead, she was indeed looking like a angel in that gown.

"thank you baby" she said 

"wahi na, itni beautiful hai tumhari mumma tabhi toh Daddy Ruhaani ke liye laaye hai" Vineet said looking at Ruhaani, who only stare at him blankly, Ruhana slapped on his arm,

"chup raho tum" he said, Vineet laughed and kissed Ruhaani cheeks

"chale niche cake cut karne" he asked and the family moved downstairs to celebrate the birthday party..

....

A family is one who always stay together, laugh together, celebrate together.

Sometimes ideas and thoughts may not match among each other but love always prevail between them ❤️❤️❤️
