I was in the CID Beaurau and was busy staring at my friend cum brother Sachin and at the same time was feeling so much pity for that little mouse that was pissing in his hand and for the keyboard that buttons must be almost out of use by now. From the past one hour he was just scrolling it pressing it right left button abruptly..

Did I tell you the most important thing, "the computer is off, due to a power cut"

Yes, he is working on the computer without electricity, without anything appearing on the screen. I just wonder what is he staring at the screen when there is nothing..

The whole staff was in anger, Pankaj has forgot to pay the bill of electricity and that's why we faced a power cut problem.. ACP sir was in his cabin and was going mad because DCP Chitrole was there to suck his blood and off course if he (chitrole) will see him (Sachin) like this, then no one can save him..

I roll my eyes towards ACP Sir cabin, he was busy arguing with DCP and it's a good chance for me.. I almost ran towards my Sapno ke Saudagar..

As I reach to him, I was again left shock.. But I ignore my this new shock and pull the mouse away from his hand and then the keyboard.. With this he came out of his reverie..

"kya hua" he asked, totally puzzled with my act..

"wahi toh main puchna chahta hoon kya hua hai tujhe.. Kyun Keyboard aur mouse ki jaan le raha hai. He sighed deeply and bang the file on the table catching everyone's attention, I smile at them idiotically and they thought we're arguing over something and so they didn't pay much attention..

I pull a chair and settle beside him "kya hua hai, bata na" I asked..

I, Sachin Mathur. A CID officer, today I was frustrated since morning because of some happenings, when I entered in Beaurau I had an argument with Dr Saulnkhe and that made me mad. And now he's here for his KBC session ufff..

How do I tell him my problems when I know he's only gonna laugh at me or do mischiefs..

I glanced at him, he looks worried about me. Tension lines were clearly visible on his forehead..

"bata na" he insisted, and I decided to tell him after all he's the only one who is gonna solve my problem..

"wo...." and I pause for a long time, and I can see anger building up in him..

"Vineet" I glare at him, he smirk naughtily..

Meine toh idhar Angel ko bola bhi nahi hai, aur bola bhi toh iss baat ki kya guarantee ki wo mujhe reject na karegi aur Saulnkhe mujhe apne bouncers bulwa ke forensic lab ke bahar na fikwayega.. It was night time, today I asked Vineet to stay at my home and he agreed happily. We had dinner and after that we retired to our rooms, I was lying on the bed and was lost in the pool of thoughts.

Just 3 months ago, she joined forensic lab and I fall for her in the first glimpse itself. Many times I tried to talk to her but Dr Sakunkhe never gave me a chance. Today I share my problem with Vineet my best friend and he said that he will help me and it makes me happy.. I was staring at the sealing and was lost in thought when Vineet barged in my room without even knocking.. He jumped on my bed.

"Ye le" he forwarded a paper towards me..

"Ye kya hai" I asked confusedly, as I sit up..

"tune pucha tha na kya bolega usmei wahi hai.. Meine sab likh diya hai.. Tu waisa hi karna jaisa meine likha hai, dekhna fir kaise maan jaati hai" Vineet spoke smiling.. I read the paper and find it inappropriate..

"Ye kaam karega" I asked doubtfully

"1000000%karega, meri guarantee hai" he exclaims and left the room..

I was left in thought..

I look at the paper and started reading, some instructions were there for me how do I need to treat her and I was impressed by his idea. But what was written next was very inconvenient, that shayari were so weird . At least I feel it.. Anyways, I started cram it, obviously I have to do that otherwise I wouldn't be able to say even a single word.. I sigh and glued my eyes at the paper

Uff it's getting too confusing and complicated but I don't have any other options, I have to do this at any cost.. So I think I shouldn't use my brain much to understand what is written there, it's better to cram it..

Whole night pass, by much labour I finally byhearted it. I smile satisfactorily and fell down on the bed and soon fell asleep. I opened my eyes with a jerk when Vineet nudged me.

"oye, Abhijeet sir ka call aaya tha chal" he informed me, I nodded. I get freshen up and we left the house..

We reach the place where Abhijeet sir asked us to come. I stop the car and we descended down. I saw Abhijeet, Pankaj and.. And Angel.. I stop at my track, my heartbeat raise and I clutch on Vineet arm, pulling him back..

"what the.. Kya harkat hai ye" he shouted at me..

"Vineet.. Main sab bhool raha hoon.. Kya thi wo line.. Jheel, samandar.. Kya tha" I spoke worriedly

He glared at me "abhi yaad karke karna kya hai.. Abhijeet Sir ke Samne bolega kya.. Huhhhh, chal" he dragged me with him..

As we approach them, Abhijeet glance at us "tum dono bhi aa gaye.. He sighed.. Chalo wapas, kissi ne prank kiya tha shayad koi lash nahi hai" he exclaims.. Angel sighed angrily so did Pankaj..

We left the place and reached to Beaurau.. As we enter, we found ACP Sir, DCP Sir and Saulnkhe Sir were arguing over something.. We were confused, I glance at Vineet who was grinning at me..

Oh god, it's his plan.

But what did he said to them that they are arguing like cats and dogs. This question arose in my mind.. I raise my brows and in reply he just winked at me and walk away..

Abhijeet Sir and Daya Sir had a hard time with them.. They tried to calm down the oldies but they were so stubborn.. After Arguing for almost 3 hours ACP Sir shouted..

"Bas.. Mujhe nahi karni koi behes tum dono se" saying so he left the Beaurau..

Saulnkhe and Chitrole followed him..

Abhijeet and Daya Sigh

"hua kya achanak inhe" Daya asked thinking..

"kya malum yaar" Abhijeet replied..

They glance at each other and then moved back to their work..

The day passed in a blur, it was evening time. I was winding up my work when Vineet approached to me

"Ye le" he spoke and place a small box wrapped in a colourfull paper on my table..

"Ye kya hai" I asked confused

He gave me a look "mujhe pata hi thi yahi question aayega... Bhai Saab ismei Ring hai, uske yes bolne ke badh ring dega ki nahi" he spoke glaring at me..

"aur reject kar diya toh iska kya hoga" I asked..

"ooh, negative kyun soch raha hai tu.. Positive soch naa.. Dekhna wo yesh bolegi.. Aur agar no bol diya toh ye ring mujhe return kar dena.." He said, I just nodded..

But a question hit my mind and I turn to him..

"Abey itna kuch kar rahe hain, lekin Angel ko main ye bataunga kidhar" I asked tensed..

He raise his collars "tune kya mujhe lallu samajh rakha hai, huh. Meine hotel book kar diya mast sa.. Ek dam romantic candle light dinner" He replied smiling..

"lekin sabse important kaam jo tujhe karna hai" he said looking at me..

"kya" I asked..

"Angel ko invite.. Usko kya sapna aayega ki hum ye sab plan kar rahe hain. Jaa Jaake bol" he said and make me stand forcefully..

"lekin" I tried to say but he push me out.. I sigh and marched to the Forensic lab..

As I reach there I found Dr. Tarika was doing some experiments with the chemical.. I roll my eyes and found Angel checking something on the computer..

The girls were busy in their work I was standing at the door in dilemma.. I was so lost in my thought that I didn't realize Dr. Tarika was calling me.. I look at her confusedly..

"kahan khoye hue ho? Kabse awaz de rahi hoon?? Aachanak yahan kaise?? Tarika asked in one breath..

" wo.. Wo.. "I wasn't getting word..

" kya hua "She again question..

" wo mujhe.. Ummm. Ahhnn.. Dr. Angellll. Se.. Kuch baat.. Karni thi "I I spoke with trembling voice..

" Ohh! Angel wahan kaam kar rahi hai kar lo jo baat karni hai "She said and again gets busy with her chemicals..

I sighed in relief, Thank god she's not like Dr. Salunkhe..

I marched towards Angel who was too engross in her work that she didn't even realise my presence.. As I approached to her, I clear my throat to caught her attention..

She look up at me..

"Oh! Sachin.. Sorry meine dekha nahi aapko" she apologize

"it's Okayy. Dr.. Wo.. Ahemm.. Mujhe aapse.. Matlab tumse.. Aainnmm.. Kuch.. Kuch puchna tha" I spoke with much difficulty

"Haan puchiye naa" she said glancing at me confusedly..

"aammm.. I close my eyes.. Kya tum aaj raat free ho" I asked in a go and sighed..

I open my eyes and found her staring at me weirdly..

"Haan, but ye aap kyun puch rahe hain" she asked. I smile..

"wo main tumhe badh mei jaroor bataunga.. I place a card in front of her.. Main wait karunga tumhara." saying so I marched out leaving her puzzled..

The Taj

I was in the garden roaming around, sweating badly, rubbing my palms in tension. Vineet was sitting there and was glaring at me..

" yaar itna tension lene se kya hoga.. Shanti se baith kyun nahi jaata tu.." he spoke..

"Arey kaise baith jau.. Main sab bhool raha hoon bhai. Wo aayegi toh main kya bolunga" I said tensed..

"agar itni tension lega toh aur bhool jayega" he exclaims..

Just then, he saw Angel and and almost ran away and hide behind a tree..

I rubbed off my sweat and plaster a smile on my face.. She approached me and smile. I reciprocate with the same manner. I led her way to one side of the garden.. A table for two was set.. I pull the chair for her, she settled down and smile at me..

I set opposite to her, a waiter approach to us. We order our food after which he left..

We had little chit chat, I can see her confused expression as i was not being at a point. I was jumping from one topic to another confusing her..

"Sachin" She call out my name, gazing at me..

I glance at her and sighed..

"kuch kehna hai kya aapko? She asked..

How do I tell her, I have a lot to say but I forgot everything I byhearted last night.. I don't remember even a single word.. But I have to confess my feelings today by any how.. I took a deep breath and stood up from my place.. Her eyes were fixed at me all the time..

I sat down on my one knee in front of her..

"Angel..

I confessed my feelings for her, my eyes were glued on her trying to read the expression but I fail to do so may be she didn't like it.. Whatever her answer is I'll accept it without any if or but after all everyone has different choices and I can't force myself onto her..

She stood up from her place, I sighed dejectedly and shook my head disappointedly and close my eyes, I don't want to be weak in front of her..

I opened my eyes when feel a warm touch on my shoulder. I looked up and found Angel sitting beside me on her knees..

"Yes I'll. Aur uske liye tumhe kuch banne ki zaroorat nahi hai tum jaise ho aache ho..

I love you" this words of her make me crazy, I instantly hug her tightly, she too wrap her arms around me..

"I love you. I love you. I love you" my happiness seems no bound.. I was on cloud nine..

I parted from her and we were lost in each other's eyes..

Our special moment gets disturb by the waiter, who came with the order.. We stood up and settled down on our respective seats.. We had our dinner with lots of talk..

On the other side, Vineet was happy as well for me.. And in happiness he started jumping and bump into a tree trunk and fall down on the ground.. At the same time his phone ring..

He sits up rubbing his head and pick up the call without checking the caller id

"hello" he spoke..

"VINEETTTTTTT" the person shouts from the other side, it was DCP Chitrole who called him.. Vineet was left shocked 😲
