I was sitting beside the Sol Emeralds with my eyes shut and my legs crossed, my hands resting on my knees as I meditated in silence. I breathe in and out slowly as I concentrated only on keeping my mind clear of all worries. That's when I heard it. The sound of an emerald turning. My ears twitched as I slowly opened my eyes revealing my golden pupils as I turn to my left, glancing at the emeralds. Everything seemed to be in order and Eggman Nega was no where in sight, so what could have made that sound? Maybe I was just imagining things. It's been months since anyone has tried stealing the emeralds, it could be my mind trying to find something to do. I shake my head softly and close my eyes, going back to meditating. I breathed in and out again and- there it is. I heard it again. I open my eyes and look at the emeralds once more. What is going on...

I slowly get on my feet and walk towards the stone podium. I stared at each emerald individually to make sure they aren't damaged and stand back up. I then notice a glint in the corner of my eye. I turned and saw it was the red Sol Emerald. I stare at it for a bit longer when suddenly it began to spin. "What the..?" Then the purple emerald began to spin and soon all of them were spinning. I took a step back as they started to float into the air, their speed increasing with each rotation. Then a flash of white light filled the room, blinding me as I tried to shield my eyes.

As my vision cleared I groaned realizing I was on a hard, cold floor. I sat up and looked at my surroundings. I was on a sidewalk... I was surrounded by people who were looking at me with a mix of confusion and concern. Feeling uncomfortable from the amount of people looking at me I quickly stand up dusting myself off and glance up at the large buildings towering over me. "Where on Sol could I be...?" I mumble as the people start to disperse seeing I was okay. I tap on one of their shoulder's and the male turned around, I noted he was a green hedgehog with rather messy hair and drum sticks in hand. "Apologies but what is the name of this place?" I ask him as he grinned. "Boy, you must of fell pretty hard to forget that. You're in Mobius my dudette!" He explained to me as I slowly raised an eyebrow. Mobius? This is where Sonic lives. But why did the emeralds send me here? And what is a dudette...?

My eyes widened "The Sol Emeralds!" I start to search through my pockets and on the floor around me but couldn't find a single one. They must have scattered across this planet. I have to find them immediately. I begin to walk briskly down the sidewalks glancing around my surroundings. I noticed people giving me strange looks, probably due to my attire or my gem but I brushed them off. My main goal is to find the Sol Emeralds and get back home. That's when I noticed it was getting dark rather quickly. I started to pick up my pace watching as the sun began to set.

By the time the sun had fully set, the streets were completely empty. It was almost like a ghost town. Realizing I should find a place to stay for the night I stop in my tracks and look around. As the street lamps flickered on I noticed a rather sizable mansion in the forest not too far from the city. Figuring it was a motel of sorts I took a short cut through the eerie park and made my way through the dark woods to the mansion like estate. As I neared the house I noticed through the windows there were no lights on. Wondering if the owner might be asleep I quietly walked onto the rickety porch, the floor creaked under me with each step making my cringe. I looked at the two rather large double doors noticing the paint was peeling off of them and some splinters stuck out. I reached to grab the doorknob when the doors slowly opened seemingly on its own. Raising an eyebrow I slowly stepped into the dark house. "Hello? Is anyone here?" I ask looking around me only seeing darkness. The lights suddenly flickered on revealing the Mansion's interior. I was standing in a very spacious first floor. The floor was marbled tile but was covered in dust. The pillars holding up the second floor were made of the same marble and we're decorated with shredded blood red silk. In front of me laid a large staircase with a red rug covered in mysterious stains falling elegantly down it. Though the decorations looked extravagant the dust and cobwebs contrasted its beauty giving the house a feeling of being abandoned. I walked towards the staircase, my pink and white heels clicking against the floor kicking up some dust making me cough. "Hello? I wanted to know if it was alright for me to spend the night." I call out only answered by my own echo. Frowning I sighed figuring no one lives here. Then I spotted something in the corner of my eye move in the shadows. I turned my head but only saw a curtain moving.

I wasn't alone.

That's when I sensed something moving behind me. I quickly spun my head around but saw only dust moving in the air. "Is someone there? I don't want to hurt you." I warned narrowing my eyes. That's when I saw them. Two blood red eyes revealed themselves to me through the darkness of a shadow. They stared me down with black slits for pupils. The site sent a shiver down my spine, I've never seen anything so...Evil. We both stood there, I couldn't find the strength to move my legs as the eyes continued to stare at me, not blinking. It seemed to go on for an eternity until all of the lights shut off, the darkness swallowing us. That's when I found my strength and quickly sped out of the mansion as fast as my legs could carry me, refusing to look back. What on Mobius could that creature have been? And why did those eyes look so sinister? As these thoughts filled my mind there was one that stood out the most. I noticed something in those eyes.. I have the to go back...I have to help that person..Whoever they were...
