Shadow looks in the mirror, with his usual pissed off face. But if you looked in his eyes, you can see something more.

Scared of my own image, scared of my own immaturity,

Worry,uncertainty, fear; emotions that this hedgie would never show.

Scared of my own ceiling, scared I'll die of uncertainty,

Sighing, he looked at the picture right next to the mirror. 'Why?'

Fear might be the death of me, fear leads to anxiety,

He grips the table, with one hand on his chest. Confusion now on his face.

"Rose...." His whisper lead to a cry of help.

Somewhere else, in a hospital, a young pink hedgie lays there.

Walking out of his room, he heads to the living room.

Gnawing on the bishops, claw our way up their system,

He was tired, but couldn't rest his thoughts. He looked down.

Repeating simple phrases, someone holy insisted,

His dark arms show it all.

I want the markings made on my skin,

Each a story that he forgotten. He smirked.

To mean something to me again,

'No, I promised I wouldn't...' He smiles with contentment. 'That's right...'

He got up, striding towards the door. 'One more time....' Opening the door, a new mission was set.

He skates to his destination.

The girl sits up. "Who....?" She mumbles, still trying to get a hold of herself.

She saw black in her vision.

Then red.

'Those eyes....' She thought.

'And that voice...' Her eyes dilated with realization.

'Rose....' The voice whispers in her mind.

"How could I?"

"Hey! Hey!"

She looks up, then smiles. "Rose I-" "Shadow I didn't forget about you...... So please....

"Don't forget about me,"

He smiles,

"No, never...."
