SATVIK'S POV

I left aunty's place only after having evening snacks. I quickly went to my apartment and got ready for the club. I called Sahil to know whether he was coming with his girlfriend or not. So he told me she is coming as she can't trust Sahil with me.

RITIKA'S POV

The shopping was exhausting and here Zoya wanted to do more shopping. We had evening snacks after shopping which was quite heavy as we were damn hungry.

Aunties were exhausted too but they weren't ready to stop shopping. Zoya was the same as them as she was still shopping for prom night. Aadi told me our seniors would plan that for us a few days later and asked me to buy a dress.

Anamika aunty got a call from her friends that they were in some club for kitty party and she took us there.
We didn't want to disturb her also it was kinda awkward to be in aunties club.

Gratefully, Aadi took me and Zoya to another close club. I was never a fan of clubs but being with Aadi or Zoya is far better than being with aunties.

I never consume alcohol so I ordered a non-alcoholic drink for myself. Aadi and Zoya had an alcoholic drink. Zoya drank the whole bottle of beer. While Aadi was dancing his ass off on the dance floor negligibly drunk.

Zoya was sipping the vodka shots and stuffing chips in her mouth.

Suddenly, she choked and started coughing loudly. She went towards the restroom and I went behind her as I can't leave her alone. But I didn't know where she went so I checked the slightly open cabinets of the restroom as she can't close the door in this situation.

I opened one door but the view which came in front of me was disturbing. A boy and girl were there literally sucking each other's mouths. The boy looked up at me and I was flabbergasted. I quickly excused myself and saw Zoya was in the next cabinet pouring her guts out.

"Zoya, are you okay?" I asked her grabbing her hair up and rubbing her back.

She nodded meekly as she emptied her stomach. I took her out without looking anywhere else. The situation I saw made me damn uneasy.

I made Zoya sit on the couch as she was feeling dizzy. I went forward to search Aadi. I saw him busy having his drink shaking his hips according to music.

"Aadi, let's go home Zoya isn't well," I yelled in his ears as the music was loud.

He didn't listen to anything and pulled me to dance with him. I tugged him out from there.

"Zoya isn't well let's go!" I screamed in his ears again and pointed towards Zoya. He looked puzzled and came with me.

Aadi was drunk too, but his tolerance was high than Zoya. We took her out and flopped on the backseat of a car. Aadi asked me to drive the car as he was feeling tipsy.

We took Zoya to Aadi's house as we can't leave her in that condition. We laid her in the guest room whereas I went to my room and cuddled to my pillow thinking about the day.

The washroom scene came in front of my eyes and it was very awkward for me to see someone in that position. I was disturbed by that scene as the person saw there, was someone special. I felt betrayed.

I slept off within no time as I was tired by the shopping and clubbing.

Third-Person POV

The next day, Aadi and Ritika went to college together. Zoya wasn't well as she was still sleeping due to a hangover. Aadi and Ritika were seating on the same bench today.

Satvik came into class and was breathless as he came all the way running from parking.

"Hey! Good morning," Satvik greeted them giving a nervous laugh.

"Good morning!" Aadi and Ritika chirped together.

Aadi gave a formal smile while Ritika was nervous about that. Satvik waits there for few seconds as he was habituated to seat with Ritika.

"That bench is unoccupied you can take your seat there, Satvik," Aadi informed him as he was looking longingly at Ritika but she was looking anywhere but not at Satvik.

Satvik nodded gently and went on the bench which was exactly beside Ritika having a very small distance in between.

The day went usual as professors came and taught the lessons. Aadi went to his practice as it was time for basketball practice. Also now the coach was around so they were practising separately.

"Rits listen to me, please!" Satvik requested desperately as he saw her out of the changing room.

"Let me go Satvik, I have basketball practice." She asserted walking past him.

"For God's sake listen to me!" He declared pulling her to the corner.

"It's none of my business, Satvik." She announced trying to free her from his hold.

"Is that so, then why are you giving me cold shoulder since morning." He asked deathly staring at her.

"I sat with Aadi today doesn't mean I'm ignoring you." She said maintaining her composer.

"Oh really, then say this looking into my eyes." He said holding her close to himself.

Her breath fastened as he was close to her. His hot breaths fanning on her forehead. His heart was beating with unusual speed as he kept looking into her intense jet black eyes with his serious hazel brown eyes.

They were lost in each other as they forgot where they were present. Satvik cleared his throat and broke the magical spell they were into.

"Yesterday..." He was about to say something but one of their classmates called her as the coach was asking for her.

"I need to go." She whispered. She pushed him and left from there hastily catching her breath.

He kept looking at her exiting figure yearning for one look from her. She turned to check on him who was looking at her with an unfamiliar expression.

His eyes were confessing a ton more than what his mouth would explain. She somewhere saw regret in his eyes but didn't pay attention to him and left to the basketball court.

Satvik did his practice and was patiently waiting for Ritika in the parking area.

SATVIK'S POV

Flashback

It was 8 in the evening, I went to the club which was decided. I was wearing black jeans paired with a red t-shirt and a white jacket. I saw Sahil and Lacey, they were having drinks. Lacey is the perfect partner for Sahil and a sister for me.

She never appreciated my flings and always wished for a long time commitment but I don't commit to anyone.

Sahil waved at me as he saw me at the entrance. Lacey gave a warm smile. I went towards them and hugged them tightly. I saw a girl from my peripheral vision who was scanning me. I think my night is fixed. She came towards me.

"Hello!! I'm Daina." She said looking at me with lust.

"Hey! Satvik." I introduced myself.

"Looks like you haven't taken the drinks? Have this!" She said handing me a glass of beer.

"Thank you!" I said taking the glass from her.

Lacey was shooting daggers at me. I hurt her by my habits. She huffed and I indicated Sahil to look at her. Sahil and Lacey were immersed in themselves.

"Well, I'm alone," she said eying me top to toe.

"So am I!" I exclaimed smiling at her.

"If you don't mind can we talk something in private?" She suggested. I nodded and took her to another silent place.

"So what you wanted to talk about!?" I asked as she pinned me to the nearby wall. I wasn't amazed by her sudden move. I was rather sure about her intentions.

"Umm... You know better Satvik, it's... you know better than me why I asked you to bring me here." She said tracing her fingers over my jawline.

I was disgusted by her touch the only person who came in front of me was Rits, what's going on with me? I should be away from her and this girl Daina is perfect.

"Well, I don't do commitments!" I told her clearly and I could see the smirk on her face indicating she too is in the game.

She pecked the corner of my lips in response. When she pecked my lips I was stunned as to how forward this girl is!

She pulled me to a nearby restroom cabinet and pushed me on the counter. She started to unzip my jacket. She nearly hopped on me and placed her lips on me. It took me time to respond as I was imagining someone else who is off-limits for me.

She forcefully entered her tongue making it impossible for me to breathe. She was sucking my lips as her life is hanging on them. But suddenly someone opened the door as we didn't close the door. Shit!!!

The girl excused herself but I looked up at the source of the voice and that was the biggest mistake I did. It was Rits!!

Fuck!! It was so damn embarrassing to be in a compromising situation in front of Rits. What she will be thinking about me? The horror on her face was visible.

I peeled Diana from my body and made a presentable look. But Rits was gone from there.

"Diana, I'm so sorry I can't do this!" I mumbled to her and rushed out
of the restroom only to search Rits.

Yes! I'm an idiot to think she will wait for me after what she saw in the cabinet. Ughhh!!! I just wanna kill myself for not locking the door.

But why am I thinking about her? I don't give a shit to anyone.

I left the club soon alone after informing Lacey and Sahil. Lacey was stunned as I was going alone and Diana was sulking in another corner.

I left for my home thinking about Ritika all the way. Her alarming look came in front eyes.

Why do I think about her? Am I attracted to her? Let me talk to her tomorrow. I just wish she doesn't break our friendship.

I slept off on my bed staring at the ceiling but my heart was somewhere else.

I was waiting impatiently and where is this girl.

Third-person pov

"Aadi, you go home, you need rest," Ritika said as Aadi was yawning continuously as he hadn't had enough sleep yesterday night and the practice was tiring.

"I'll drop you."

"No need I can get a cab, I'm booking it now itself. You go and take rest." Ritika said strictly and Aadi nodded in yes.

He pecked her forehead and went towards his car and left for his house. Suddenly, Satvik came there.

"Hey! Come on sit let's go home." Satvik said.

"It's okay I can manage." Ritika said quite rudely as she remembered the restroom scene and walked towards the gate.

"Rits come on I wanna talk with you and you are ignoring me." Satvik whined like a kid following her on his bike.

"Listen Satvik, I don't wanna talk so leave me alone!" Ritika walked as fast as she could.

"Come with me or I will make a drama here." Satvik warned as some people were looking at them.

"Okay fine! What you wanna talk about?" Ritika asked frustrated by crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Umm... About yesterday!" Satvik said and Ritika huffed.

"Let's talk somewhere else." she said and sat behind him.
