I'm back with yet another update! Maybe it won't be up to the mark so tell me honestly at the end!

SATVIK'S POV

"Good morning!" Uncle exclaimed as soon as I reached their house. He was reading a newspaper while having his morning tea. I always felt at home with them. I've never visited my home for the past 5 years.

It isn't much big house but still enough for two people. Uncle and aunty don't have their child but have always loved me as their son.

"Good morning, uncle, where is aunty?" I asked him and he indicated to me that she is in the kitchen.

"Morning beautiful!" I said and pecked her cheeks when I went to the kitchen and back hugged her.

"Good morning handsome!" She chirped enthusiastically.

"What's cooking?" I asked while munching the carrots sitting on the kitchen slab.

"Satvik stop! It's for gajar ka halwa." She said slapping my hands.

"Nevermind aunty! I will eat a mixture of sugar, ghee and milk, then shake my tummy. This way halwa will be ready!" I commented acting in that way taking a mixture of 1 teaspoon sugar and ghee in a glass of milk.

"Should I put you on induction to cook the halwa you made in your stomach?" Aunty smirked and I left the glass on a slab.

"Aunty!" I said dramatically and got up from the kitchen slab and she laughed aloud.

"Aunty I'll be leaving after lunch. I've some college project to complete." I lied without any hesitation and left the kitchen. Only I know where I'm going tonight.

Aaditya and Ritika reached home and not to their surprise Zoya was already at home waiting for them.

ZOYA'S POV

God! I just don't understand what had happened to me?  I know Rits must try to impress Aadi but he didn't care or are they hiding something from me?

It's past 8 in the morning and Aadi must be sleeping. Let me just call to check. But what will I say? I'll say I was sleeping and by mistake, I clicked the phone and he already knows his number is on speed dial.

What? He cut the call, which means he is sleeping for sure. Yes! I think I should ask Ritika and Aadi for brunch this way they will be in front of me. What a plan Zoya! I'm proud of myself. I pat my back.

I thought to message him but no, I'll surprise him by there itself. Let's go! I wore a jogging suit and shoes as I can't bathe this early. I plugged my headphones and played some songs after telling mom that I'm inviting Rits and Aadi for brunch.

When I went there both weren't at home but were coming from a walk and Aadi was holding Rits by her shoulder. What the hell is happening? Gosh, this girl always finds ways to get close to Aadi.

When I asked her did she love him that day before I was going to propose she very conveniently told me that she doesn't like Aadi. I was even ready to sacrifice him for her but she lied and I hate liars. After that, I didn't trust anyone with Aadi, not Rits at least.

"Zoya what are you doing here?" Aadi asked me rudely still holding her.

"Mom asked you both to join for brunch, I called you but you didn't receive the call so I thought you must be sleeping so I came to invite you here." I said rudely too.

I haven't done anything wrong that they are talking like this with me. Is it wrong to love someone? Isn't it wrong of Rits to eye her best friend's love? Moreover, if she loves him too then can't she play fair?

Why does he always take her side? Just because she had suffered a lot it's wrong to take her side. Can't she stand up for herself? It's past and it had happened 14 years ago!

"Rits go freshen up, we have to go to Zoya's house." I heard Aadi's tone changed into a soft one. What a great change!

"I think I should leave I've to help mom too," I said and quickly left from there. I have to do something before it's too late. Rits can take Aadi away from me. I can't afford to lose him now.

RITIKA'S POV

I went to take a long shower to forget everything. Why these memories are haunting me now and then? In India, I used to get very few panic attacks.

I always try not to think about them, but one or another thing happened and I remember my so-called mom, those friends of mine and Zoya's behaviour isn't changing! Huffs!

I know I shouldn't think about it much but it isn't in my control. I think I should start meditating again for diverting.

I came out of the shower and wore a pastel blue top with tiny white and yellow flowers paired with black denim jeans. I wore flat white wedges as footwear. I applied a lip tint to look natural instead of heavy makeup.

I went to check on Aadi whether he is ready or not.

AADITYA'S POV

As we came back, I wasn't surprised to see Zoya. I don't know what's wrong with her. Is she stalking me and Rits? How is this possible that she is always present when I'm with Rits or wanna spend some alone time with Rits.

Today she said she invited us for brunch. Wow! I mean seriously she is up early in the morning that too she came here running. Isn't it fishy? Or am I thinking too much?

Whenever both Rits and Zoya are in front of me I just wanted to know what happened between them! Keeping these thoughts aside I decided to get ready for brunch and then we can go shopping or anything.

I quickly took shower and got ready into a powder blue t-shirt with a black jacket and white denim. I gelled my hair properly and wore my Nike shoes.

As I was going to Rits' room to check on her she was in front of me looking gorgeous in the natural look. She was wearing a similar shade of blue to me.

"Aadi!" She shook me when I wasn't responding to her. How can I be in my senses when the most beautiful girl is in front of me?

"Huh!" I replied getting out of my trance.

"I think we should leave." She said and I just nodded.

As we descended towards the living room, mom and dad were also ready. Correction mom was still doing her final touch-up and dad were teasing mom.

"Where are you going? mom, dad." I asked them.

"We are coming to Zoya's house, Manish and Sujata invited us," Dad commented happily.

"Yes! Sujata called me and said to join for brunch as we haven't spent the time since long." Mom said still checking her lipstick.

"You know what Ritika, you should learn makeup skills from Anamika! Just look at her how she is ready for brunch!" Dad kept his hand on Ritika's shoulder and teased mom.

We three burst out laughing whereas mom gave a death glare to dad. Dad zipped his mouth acting as if nothing happened but Rits' and I can't control our laughter looking at dad's horrible expressions.

My family is full of madness just like me and later Ritika too will be part of it. We went to Zoya's house by my car where Ritika was sitting beside me and mom dad in the backseat.

The journey of five minutes was full of fun as dad still teased mom and Ritika and I enjoyed the free show.

Ritika, Aaditya and his parents reach Zoya's house within five minutes still laughing over the PJs of Mr Kapoor.

Zoya and her parents were waiting for them in the garden outside the house. It was a modern house with furnished cement walls having glass windows.

The outdoor space was interconnected with indoor space. It gave the actual London vibes whereas Aaditya's house gave the Indian culture vibes. The rooftop was flat giving an aesthetic look.

The menu of brunch was Indian, Italian and Chinese. The elders preferred Indian food over everything. Zoya's mother cooked aloo parathas, scrambled eggs whereas Zoya prepared Aadi's favourite Hakka noodles and cheese sandwich. Their cook had prepared some Italian dishes like white sauce pasta and bread pizza.

They had choco lava cake and red velvet pastry for dessert. There was mixed fruits juice also tea and coffee-like beverages.

The brunch was fun for elders as they caught up together after a long time. Zoya was stealing glances of Aadi whereas he royally ignored her concentrating on Ritika.

Ritika was stuck between Aadi and Zoya. One was giving warmth and the other was shooting glares. She so wished to get back to her PG as soon as possible. This weekend stay was taking her peace away.

Anamika was closely observing Ritika,  Zoya and Aaditya. She understood that Aadi is still upset with Zoya and thought to clear everything between them as Aaditya was looking disturbed.

"Sujata, it's just 12 in the noon, let goto shopping. Let's take kids with us. Raghav and Manish bhai won't eat lunch after this heavy brunch." She said as she thought Ritika, Zoya and Aadi will get to spend time together.

"Yeah! Why not! So triple torcher ready to join us?" Sujata asked and everybody nodded as they can't deny their mothers.

On the other, er hand Satvik skipped his breakfast and had just his coffee fee in the morning eagerly waiting for his club night.

He had butter chicken and naan in lunch. Gajar ka halwa as dessert. His Sunday was blissful. He wanted to live his life his way so he wasn't living with uncle and aunty and separate apartment.

He didn't want to leave them alone but also he can't stay there knowing his nightlife. He left their house half-heartedly after lunch.

But he was having a gut feeling that something will happen. That may be good or maybe bad it wasn't his intuition but something wetly happen. He could feel that his life was taking a turn.
