Chapter 6 - F
When I woke up, my head was pounding. Everything hurt so bad; I couldn't open one eye because my cheek was swollen. I whined before I noticed that He was still in the room.
He walked over to me. "Aw, you gonna cry again?" He sneered at me. I felt him grab my thigh roughly and whimpered again, stiffening. I felt that my thighs were sticky, but I knew it wasn't blood. He let go of my leg and slapped it roughly.
"What have I said about answering me?" He growled at me. I whined, biting my lip and anticipating him to do more, but suddenly I heard a beeping sound in the room. He swore and quickly got off of me, running from the room after getting dressed again. I stayed where I was for a minute, waiting for Him to come back, but He didn't. I started getting scared when He didn't return.
'What's going on?' I thought. I moved and slowly got onto my back, then got off the bed once I was sure I could walk. The only thing I could think of was to hide. I scanned the room fast; I was in His "office" area, so there was a lot I could hide in or under. I went to the nightstand and opened the drawers, crawling inside it and shutting it again with me inside. I was small and I wasn't hurt as badly this time, so I managed to fit into it easily.
I curled up, whimpering softly to myself as I heard the beeping continue. I could also hear footsteps and talking down the hallway, and it only made me more scared. My body ached, pain throbbing through my bruises and clouding my vision. I heard my breathing loud in my ears, and my heartbeat with it.
Suddenly I heard the door of the office open, and tried holding my breath so the people wouldn't hear my panting. I was starting to get dizzy though, I could feel my physical exhaustion setting in.
I heard the footsteps come closer to my hiding spot, but I was starting to fade in and out of consciousness. I had closed my eyes and leaned my head gently on the inside of the door as I felt myself going out again, holding my knees to my chest with my arms.
The door opened suddenly and I fell out of the nightstand, whimpering and automatically letting go of my legs. I didn't open my eyes, trembling as I anticipated what was going to happen to me.
I didn't know I was shaking until I felt arms slide gently under me and lift me up. I whined, but started shaking more. Even though I knew by now that it wasn't Him, I was still scared. The person holding me gently shifted me in their arms, holding me against their body. They wrapped one arm around me under my legs, and I yelped loudly when their hand touched a bad bruise on my hip. They froze and quickly shifted me again, putting one hand gently on my back. As they began walking, I felt myself slipping out of consciousness again.
-Police Officer-
I carried the small Elf against my chest, walking next to my partner as we walked back through the long hallways of the back area of the club. He looked way too skinny, and was covered in bruises and small scratches. He couldn't weigh more than sixty pounds either.
My partner and I had been unsure whether he was even going to make it out when we found him in the nightstand cabinet. The way he was positioned when he fell out made it clear that he was hiding in there, but his breathing and his shaking was worrying. We didn't know if he was alright until he yelped when I touched his hip. Honestly it hurt my ear when he did that, but I didn't care right then. At least we knew he could still feel his injuries, so he wasn't going out yet.
I could feel his small hands go around my neck as we walked. We stopped by one of the cages for a second, and I felt him shift and take his head out of my shoulder and open his eyes. He looked at the cage that was lowered, and I looked at my partner.
"Can you grab that blanket?" I nodded my head at the cage, and she grabbed it and brought it back. The Elf sniffled a little bit and looked at the blanket, and I gently shifted him and wrapped it around him. He held his arms in close to his body and I wrapped the blanket around them anyway. He shivered and let me cocoon him with the blanket, then I held him bridal style against my chest.
'That should help him feel more secure,' I thought to myself and kept walking. I felt him go limp in my arms, but thankfully we were close to the front doors when he passed out. I carried him out and right to the ambulance, setting him on the bed and gently helping the medics take the blanket off of him. I noticed the three people being asked questions by another officer, and that one of them was glaring right at me. Well, I think at the Elf, but it looked like he was looking at me.
I went back to helping the medics with the Elf, helping them check him over before they gently strapped him to the bed and pushed it inside the ambulance. The other four slaves were in there too, but the Elf was the only one that needed the bed, and only one other one needed any hookups or medicines. I shut the doors after the bed was secured in the ambulance.
-F-
When I woke up, I couldn't feel most of my body, and there was something over my face. I started getting scared, my breathing speeding up. 'What's going on? Where am I?' I tried to move but I couldn't, and it made me panic. I heard a beeping noise get faster as I panicked more, whining.
Suddenly I felt someone shake me gently, and hands on my arm.
"Hey, it's okay, calm down," a woman's voice said to me. I felt her hand on my head, gently stroking my hair. I whined again, and I heard the beeping slow down as I calmed down. She adjusted something in my arm, but I couldn't turn my head to see what she did.
She kept petting my hair as she moved around me, and I eventually registered that I had some sort of loose clothing on, and there was a pale baby blue curtain around the bed I was on, with a bunch of machines hooked up to me. The thing on my face was helping me breathe, and I could feel that there was something in my nose doing that too.
The nurse gave me a shot and I felt myself go back out again as she told me to relax.
