Chapter 15 - F
Ozzie has been coming to see me every day now; sometimes we go to the cafe, sometimes we hang out in my room. Today I was taking him around the building and introducing him to my friends. I took him to meet Anne first; she said that she was here because her mom wasn't nice to her. She had blond hair like mine, but it was cut short, and she was human. She liked to sit in the library. She seemed a little scared of Ozzie at first, but I made a mental note to tell her that he was okay.
After we saw Anne I wanted to introduce Ozzie to Billy, but he was in therapy right now so I would introduce them later. We went and hung out in my room instead.

I woke up with a slight weight on my chest and looking at a beige ceiling. I looked down at my chest to see Fae's blond head.
'Must've fallen asleep,' I thought to myself, rubbing my eyes with one hand. I put my other hand on Fae's back, slowly shifting so I was laying on my side with Fae against me. He mumbled in his sleep and turned around, cuddling into my body and shuddering once a little bit before relaxing again. I smiled at him, then placed a kiss on his forehead before closing my eyes again and falling back asleep. I only wish I could do that while he was awake.
The next time I woke up, Marie was sitting next to the bed in a chair, reading quietly. Fae was still sleeping, curled into my chest snugly, but he was wearing a baggy night shirt and shorts that ended halfway up his thighs, like boxers without the opening in the front, so I assumed that he had woken up and changed.
I yawned a bit and looked at Marie, putting one hand on Fae's back and the other arm under his ass and rolling onto my back. I used my arm under his butt to push him up on me more, and he whimpered a little bit, shifting and laying his head on my collarbone before settling down again. His ass was plump and half firm with muscle, so it worked to gently push him up with it when I rolled over.
Marie heard me yawn and looked up, putting a bookmark into her book and setting it down. "Good morning," she said, whispering so that she didn't wake up Fae.
"Mmh," I hummed a little bit, stifling another yawn. "Why're you here? Shouldn't you sleep too?" The alarm clock read 1 AM.
"Fae has nightmares pretty frequently, so I stay up later to be with him in case he has one," Marie said. "It's alright, I can sleep in late. I'd rather be here to help Fae. And you were asleep, I didn't know if you would wake up if Fae did have one."
I nodded. "Oh," I said. It made me a little sad to know that he was still having nightmares about the club. I never want him to have to relive those things.
"I do have to talk to you though," Marie said. I nodded to show that I was listening. "Fae is doing much better than he had been when he was as admitted. He has a week or so more of therapy that we want to do, but after that he will be free to leave the center."
I smiled. "Well, that's good news," I said. Marie nodded.
"Oh, yes it is," she said. "It's great news. But he can't live here forever. He needs to have somewhere to go after he gets released."
I now saw the problem. "But he doesn't have anywhere," I said. Marie nodded.
"That is the problem," she said. "He can't live here for more than a couple days after his sessions are over. It's just protocol, and we need to have rooms available for other people."
I chewed my lip a little bit, nodding. "I can take him in," I said after a minute. "I don't know if that would be inappropriate of me though; I'm investigating the club we found him at, I feel like it would be a little inappropriate of me to be living with one of the slaves that I'm investigating for."
Marie shrugged. "It all depends on how you look at it," she said. "I mean, how do you see the Elf?"
I looked at the knowing glance she gave me, then sighed a little and chuckled. "It's that obvious?"
"It is, yes," she chuckled a little.
"I know that I have feelings for him, but I would never try anything on him," I said.
"Oh I know you wouldn't," Marie said. "But I also know that he doesn't know how to decipher how he feels about things, and specifically you."
That made me feel almost happy. I looked down at Fae curled into my chest, moving my hand on his back to the middle of his shoulder blades. He purred softly when I moved my hand, shifting his head and exhaling softly.
"I know he would like to live with you though," Marie said. "He really likes you, he just doesn't know in what way yet."
I nodded to acknowledge her words. "Okay," I said. "I'll see about making it so he can come live with me after his sessions." Marie smiled and nodded.
"He'd like that," she said. I smiled back at her and gently stroked Fae's hair.
"This is just about him," I said. "Do you know if he's ever cut his hair?"
Marie shook her head. "It's a part of Elven culture that they never cut their hair. They only cut it after they commit bad crime, and it's not willing either."
I nodded. "I was just curious." I kept stroking his hair; it was really soft when it was healthy. "How has he been eating?"
"He doesn't eat a lot," Marie said. "But he has been eating. He really likes blueberries, by the way."
I smiled a bit and chuckled. "Alright, I'll keep it in mind."
Fae suddenly woke up, making a quiet hiccup sound when he did and blinking sleepily. He smiled and looked up at my face, purring again.
"Good morning Fae," I said. Fae smiled up at me, sitting up on my lap and rubbing his eyes.
We heard thunder outside and Fae looked at the window. Marie looked over there too. "Looks like that storm finally came in," she said. "It's supposed to get pretty bad, but it'll be okay."
Fae nodded. "Okay..." he said. He laid back down on my chest, his small hands holding onto my shirt as he shifted around. He seemed a little scared of the thunder. I put my arms around him again, rubbing his back. Suddenly the lightning flashed following the thunder, and Fae jumped a little.
"It's alright," I said to him, rubbing his back still. Marie had put her book down and gone to look out the window again. There was more thunder, and a bright flash of light from the lightning, then the lights flickered rapidly for a second. That happened within a minute, and Fae started suddenly shaking violently when the lights flickered.
"Woah, Fae? Fae!" I raised my voice and panicked when he kept shaking. I held him gently, not sure what to do. But I knew what was happening.
Marie heard me and turned around, running back over to me. "What happened?" She asked urgently, looking at Fae.
"He's having a seizure," I said quickly; I tried to keep him as still as possible, but his seizing was making it hard. "Go get somebody!"
Marie left quickly without saying anything. Fae's eyes had rolled back and his arms were curled in tight to his body. The seizure didn't last longer than a minute, but as soon as it was over his eyes rolled forward again and he started sobbing uncontrollably.
I held him to my chest again when he stopped seizing, holding the back of his head and his back. He sobbed into me, his small body trembling a little bit still. "I-it's okay," I repeated over and over to him. The terror in his eyes when his they had rolled forward again was unexplainable.
Marie came back with someone I hadn't met before, but they had doctor's scrubs on. They tried to take Fae off of me to look at him, but he refused to let go of me. I kept stroking his back and saying soothing words to him. He eventually passed out on my chest after he stopped crying, and the man in scrubs gently took him with Marie out of the room.
All I could think was 'what the fuck happened to him.'
