| Chapter 24: God, I -. |
I watched as Dean's fingers played with mine as we both just sat in the euphoria that was us.
"I like the way you remind me of stuff." I smiled, earning a chuckle from Dean as he retracted his hand from mine, taking my chin and kissing me so gently. "God, I -" I stopped short, realizing what was about to come out of my mouth. "- think you're swell."
Dean chuckled with wide eyes, realizing the same thing, as we both giggled uncomfrotably.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked, after a few moments of painful silence. Dean adjusted himself within the sheets, pulling me closer to him (if possible) and wrapped his toned arms around me as I finally allowed the question to flow, "I saw you checking out that barmaid...right in front of me...why?"
Dean frowned, beginning to play with my fingers again.
"It's like I told you before," He sighed, tangling his fingers in with mine, and pausing. "perfect fit." My heart fluttered at that gesture as he pressed his lips against my head before wrapping me up in his arms. "I'm not used to perminance - and what I feel for you, scares the hell out of me."
My butterlfies began to flap harder as he spoke.
"I've never had this much fun with someone that was this hot and on my level of hunting." He giggled, earning a chuckle from me too. "I've never felt this connected to anyone before, and it's something I'm not sure how to handle. I tend to fight, kill or avoid what I don't like or undestand."
"Don't kill me." I stated, earning a chuckle from him. "You can fight me all you want, but I'll kick your ass." Dean giggled so hard that I bounced on his chest a little, causing both of us chuckle. "Well, handling it in that way," I stated, gesturing to the hotel door, "is incorrect good sir."
"What about how I handle this?" He whispered, tracing my bare stomach, beckoning another round.
"You hanlde that well." I whispered back, as I looked up at him and our serious eyes glistened as I pulled his face down and kissed him deeply.
"Okay, I just got off the phone - Wow!" Sierra barrelled through the door, only to shove herself into the corner driectly behind the door, as if she was in time out. "Let me know when we're decent."
Dean and I jumped, and chuckled in unison as we pulled on some clothes that were within arms reach, and as Dean cleared his throat, Sierra glanced over her shoulder to check if we were dressed.
"You called Mom?" I asked, realizing I - once again - grabbed Dean's shirt.
"I'm going to shower," He whispered, kissing my forehead and moving into the bathroom and as he shut the door, Sierra squealed - making me jump.
"Is he that good?" she giggled, as I pushed her playfully. "Oh, right...Mom..."
I just rolled my eyes.
"...she's devistated." Sierra dropped into a chair as I dropped onto the edge of the bed that Dean and I just messed up. "She says she's been trying to call us for hours, but neither of us were answering."
"We were preoccupied." I sighed, crossing my legs.
"Obviously," she winked and then her playful banter faded as she sighed, "I have to go back."
"I know." I nodded, uncrossing my legs and leaning forward, sliding my hands within hers. "Take the Challenger, but for the love of fuck -"
"- don't let Mom take it." Sierra nodded, pulling me into a hug. "I'm so sorry that all that came out...I wish I could do something."
"Don't scratch her." I smirked, tossing Sierra the keys. "You and Dean are the only other two that have driven Beauty."
"Beauty?" Sierra echoed, grinning as she had her hand on the door knob. "That fits -"
"- Also," I shot up to my feet before she could ope the door to leave. "What did Boris want?"
"Oh, Boris." she blushed, and I nodded - knowing that that's all she had to do to tell me everything.
"Say no more." I smiled, waving her away. "We'll probably be here for a few more days, but when or if we move on - I'll call."
"Thank you," Sierra grinned, pausing before pulling the door open. "I love you, Dani."
"I love you too Sierra." I smiled, pulling her into a tight hug before she opened the door, to reveal Sam and Casitel were back, and after a weird exchange of expressions, Sierra pushed past them and disappeared. "She's heading back home, Bill's got only a few hours left and Glinda finally talked ot her."
"Ah." Sam nodded, moving into the room with Castiel. "Where's Dean?"
"Shower." I stated, not looking up from my bag as I pulled out a fresh pair of panties, and didn't realize Sam was watching. "What? Oh!" I gasped, bolting into the steam filled shower.
"Hey!" Dean greeted through the steamed room. "Back for more?"
"No, your Brother saw my panties so I came in here to put them on." I giggled, pulling the panties up and allowing Dean's shirt to drop over them. "Sorry."
"Hey," He beckoned, as I moved over to the shower, and realized I wasn't able to make eye contact with him. "did Sierra talk to you?"
"Uh..." I blinked down at his soaked body. "...yes."
"Babe." His voice broke through my trance as I forced the eye contact. "You do realize it's all yours right?"
"I know, but I can't live on your dick -" I shot, casually, earning a good chuckle from Dean as I sat down on the closed toilet to answer his quesiton. "- she's going back home to deal with Glinda and Bill, I told her I'd call her if or when we move."
Dean nodded through the fogged up shower door.
I bit my lip as I scanned his silhouette.

My eyes fluttered open and I was lying against a tree trunk in the middle of a dark forest, and as I rose to my feet I realized I was alone. Feeling an increase in loss, being lost and completely disoriented, I crossed my arms in an attempt to stay warm as I stared to trudge forward.
I struggled to see through the darkness, and the weird part is I couldn't tell if I was in the dark forest in the middle of the night or if the trees and branches were just that thick and that close together. With a frown I continued to struggle to find my way out.
Stumbling upon a deep ravine with no visible bottom - having the sudden urge to jump came and went, however I noticed I was too close to the edge almost immedately as I reached out in an attempt to regain my balance.
There was a moment where I almost leveled myself out, but suddenly the ground crumbled under me and I slid right off the edge and fell into the deep dark void. A sense of wegithlessness came over me as I plummeted into the abyss.
I felt my entire being attempt to scream, my throat was straining, my stomach was tensed, as was the rest of my body - but there was absolutely nothing coming out of my mouth, even though my throat was now becoming sore as if I had been screaming.
I was unable to scream, unable to fight against this inevitable fall to my death.
