"Yeah! Go on and leave! Leave for your bitch-ass friends!" Jonathan yelled at me as I stormed out the door. My heart tightened in my chest as I willed myself not to cry. He was always like this. "They'll leave you and you'll come running back to me!"
Slamming the door shut behind me, I swiftly make my way to my car. I was quick to leave and in the rear view mirror, I saw this psychopath chasing my car. I pressed on the gas and quickly lost him.
"Eat my dust." I growled before leaving the neighborhood. Who would ever think that this girls night turned into my breakup? I should be happy too, breaking up with him. Jonathan was toxic and abusive, but he lived in my house, lived off of my money, and was probably going to try and sweet talk me back with him. He could easily sell my prized possessions and my clothes.
I shook my head and left the neighborhood, practically speeding to the club I was meeting my friends at. While sitting down my tight red dress was crawling up my thighs, almost revealing my black laced underwear. I was almost certain that the second after I told them that I broke up with Johnathon they were going to tell me to get with some stranger.
"Heeeey bitch!" Sierra practically screamed, slamming her open palm against my car window. A smile was quick to take over the place on my lips and I laughed. My door opened quickly and she barely had time to react. She almost fell, which made the other two girls laugh. "Hey!"
"Oops." I stated with a giggle. I hop out of my car and slam the door, gently brushing my finger under my eye.
"Woah, hey are you ok?" Annabelle was quick to notice my red eyes, she was always the mom of the group. I smile and shook my head but began to walk toward the bar.
"No, but let's talk about it inside." I reply, headed toward the club, friends in tow. It didn't take long for drinks to get ordered and laughing to start.
A part of me was glad that they gifted me this distraction, the breakup hurt and I don't think I'm ready to talk about it. It only took 2 more drinks to remember how I got here with them...
"Guys. I need to be honest with you." I announced to the small group. It took a minute but they were soon facing me. My frown couldn't be replaced as the realization that they were mostly his friends than mine hit me. Our fights haven't once been voiced, so I haven't the slightest clue how they'll react. "Me and Johnathan broke up."
The music and drinks drowned out the silence of the group. Tension filled the space between us and Sierra and Racheal sneered. Annabelle smiled, but when she turned to look at the other two, it dropped. The two began to storm out, calling me a dumb hoe.
"W-wait!" Annabelle called after them. She then turnt back to me. "I'll go talk to them!"
Annabelle ran off and I gritted my teeth. I should've known better. Joining his friend group who've been with him since the beginning of college was ridiculous, not to mention he cheated on me with Sierra last year. Why I let him get away with it, I don't know.
I received my refill at the bar and go to a high table in the back corner. The stool was slightly uncomfortable, but I don't currently care. Thinking about the potential future, I image a vandalized home, online bullying, the rest of the year spent in isolation, hating my reflection.
That's not what I wanted, but things won't go my way. I wanted hours spent cuddling, without a care of tomorrow. I wanted flowers in the evening with a box of pizza and a movie waiting for me when I arrived home from work. I wanted a love that could outlast even more than a lifetime of the world would give us a chance.
"You're not going to find a good time back here." A playful voice said, bringing me out of my mind palace. I raise a playful brow and look up. There I found a shirtless man in a trench coat towering over me. He had a smirk on his lips and his fedora blocked his eyes.
"Really? Well I think there's a clock in the corner over there: that time's as good as any other." To that response the man barked out a laugh that made me smile. This person certainly had a certain charm to him, but unfortunately... "I'm sorry, I'm not looking for anything right now. Just a friend. Though I'm certainly down for one with benefits," I wink, "but not for tonight."
The man turned one of the stools around so the back was pressed to his chest after her sat down. He kept his heels hooked on the lower rim of the chair legs. His charm grew and my smile softened to one of odd comfort, especially odd for the scenario of a strange man approaching a lone woman.
"Well I've been told I'm wonderful at both." The man commented, proudly, with a throaty chuckle. "What's bothering you, hun? Hopefully nothing that can't be kissed better."
"You can always hope but that's not the case." I sigh and rest my cheek on my open palm, looking at the man. "You know it's just the stereotype. Boyfriend is now an ex and so are my friends, because they've been his longer. Though guys like him are easy to get over. Especially when their mommy kink isn't just in the bedroom."
The man laughed once more before he copied my position to stare back at me with a smile. It only took ten seconds for me to bite my lip and start laughing. The man beamed a smile that shone with pride.
"The worst part is going to be getting him out of my house and fixing the damage he causes. I might just move though, been wanting to and this just gives me a better reason to." I ramble, swirling my drink with my index finger.
"I'd love to help. Going out to the bar all the time gets a little boring when you don't have a friend." The man commented. I smiled at him and nodded.
"(Y/n)." I introduce, the man's grin widened.
"Call me Smexy."
"Well if we're using bedroom names you better be sure to call me your lady." I reply with a smirk.
"Like to be owned?"
"I'm a switch, though I do prefer not walking in the morning."
"Get a room already." A bystander grumbled. We both looked at each other before laughing. I scribbled my number onto a napkin.
"I gotta scram. It's not the best idea to drink emotionally. Love to hang out some time soon though. I'll give you a tour of the house, but if you say when the clothes will come off." I exit with a wink.
I had to leave knowing that if I kept talking to him I'd drag him to the back and ride him. Though, it's not a good idea for tonight. Tomorrow would be better.

"You seem happy." Slender commented, suspicion in his voice.
"Oh brother! Leave him alone! It's a great thing if he's happy!" Splendor piped up, not wanting Slender to ruin Offender's mood.
"Yeah... though I am curious." Trender inquired, searching for an answer. "What's new?"
"Nothing new. Just something fun." Offender replied, before a ring echoed in the room. "Speaking of fun, I got to go."
