SEXTAPE, PART III,
CHAPTER 53.
" 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐅. "
the next morning, around 11.30 am.
"That's so annoying, stop." You hiss, just trying to shower while Jean reached in and obnoxiously kept changing the temperature of the water, just to make you upset.
"Please, i'll literally come in there and pee on y-" He began, unable to finish as you chuck a small bottle of soap, like the size of your palm at him, and he laughs as he skips away for a moment.
"That's disgusting, Jean." You scold, unable to help but laugh as well. "This is why I don't like showering with you!" You sigh, putting the temperature back to the one you previously had it at, and he goes back to shaving.
"You love it. Showering with me, that is." He says in 'a matter of fact' tone, running a hand through his hair as he looks at you then to himself in the mirror.
Connie, Reiner and Gabi were coming over for dinner, as it had been decided.
Vinnie dipped because she had a date with some dude she met at a bar, and promised to come to dinner another time.
And on Gabi coming as well, her family is already living in California, but when you watched her that time in New York she was staying with Reiner due to situations in the family.
"Mhm." You retort, motioning for him to grab you a towel as you finish up showering, which he does so, tossing it to you. You catch the cloth and wrap it around your body tightly before stepping out.
You slap him upside the head and drop the towel from your body, and grab your robe from one of the hooks, pulling it over your shoulders and tying it loosely at the waist. You make your way into your room, and into the walk-in closet.
Your side was less of a mess than Jean's, although a good bit of his clothes had been sloppily tossed by yours.
You had looked around all your clothes for at least several minutes before you finally chose something nice and presentable to wear when Jean came in as well, pretty much naked.
You swore he was so annoying sometimes, but you somehow dealt with it.
Rolling your eyes, you take your time to change.. deciding on a white top and denim shorts, due to the heat. You and Jean were gonna go grab something to eat, come back, and then wait for dinner.
He was gonna finally fire up the grill tonight, which you were thankful for.. as you hadn't really used it yet since most of the time you either ate out, ordered something, or had leftovers.
"We need groceries, too, Jean." You say, buttoning your shorts as you turn to him. He nods, pulling his shirt over his head.
"That's fine. I wanted to get some more of those chips we like, since someone ate them all." He says, rolling eyes sarcastically.
"Oh, come on!"
You hum as you helped with dinner, and listened to Gabi. You were working on the salad while he cooked on the grill, which he had to call your father because he quite literally didn't know how to use it.
Reiner, Connie and Jean chatted away on the patio and drank beer while he cooked, and Gabi gossiped to you about things at school, and drama in the sixth grade.
"And then we watched a seventh grade relationship break down. They broke up like three times until Talen realized Addie never liked him." She explains, and you laugh softly.
"I remember my old boyfriends in high school and one girlfriend in like.. eighth grade. We broke up in like five or six months. This is why I say you don't date in middle school, shit always happens." You say, taking a quick swig of your wine and she swallows her water.
"Every time they hugged he literally grabbed her butt. It was so weird." She gags, shaking her head as she leans back in her seat at the counter.
"Tell me about it." You say, pulling the sleeves of Jean's button-front back up your shoulders, as it was falling down. It was way too big for you, but it was comfy, and matched your bathing suit.
You focus as you begin peeling the onions, tossing one into your mouth quickly before you go back to doing what you were doing.
"What was middle school like for you, y/n?" Gabi asks, spinning around in her chair.
"Total shit, i'll tell you that. That was the first time I've ever had a personal argument with a teacher, in like the third grade though there was this whole not-passing fiasco where this once girl, Veronica, was a total teacher's pet. And I quote that teacher 'I know Veronica did nothing wrong.' which was ridiculous." You explain, and she laughs in a surprised way.
"Personal argument.. with a teacher?" She says, and you nod.
"She thought I called her a stripper, and oh god, the way I acted towards her. And the damn principal too, yikes." You put all the skins into a bowl, separating them from the peeled onions and pulling open a few drawers.
"Dear god. How did you handle it?"
"Well to settle it, I wrote an apology letter which was the front and back of a piece of loose leaf paper the day after she pulled me in for recess, and gave her the worst attitude.. one i'd never give my parents." As you explain, you slide the kitchen knife out of the drawer carefully and gather up all the peeled onions in a small space. "Then from so on we, meaning my friends and I, just called her 'Mrs. Stripper.'"
"Geez." She says with a laugh, swinging her feet around so she could walk over to you. "Need any help?" She offers, and you pause to think for a moment.
"Yeah, can you go in the fridge and look for two or three tomatoes.. make sure at least one is orange.. and cucumbers since I might not use them all, and then just put them on the counter." You direct her, speeding up as you begin to chop up the onions into smaller pieces.
"Here you go." She says quite sooner, setting the two items down on the counter next to you, and you thank her. "Anything else?"
"No, not really. You can go do whatever now." You tell her, and she nods, heading back to her seat at the counter and kind of just looking around, minding her own business as you take begin chopping up the other ingredients and listening to the music on the stereo.
You felt bad that you didn't really have too much to do for her, since you and Jean never really expected to have any kids visiting you just yet.
Either way, you would need stuff is Charlotte ever came to visit with her daughters, since apparently Christmas and Thanksgiving were already on the agenda.
You pile up all the chopped up bits of tomato, cucumber, and onion into a bowl and shake them around a bit after sprinkling some parsley into the mix before adding the dressing, a mix of dijon mustard, honey, salt, pepper, a tiny bit of vinegar, and olive oil.
You had made it for Jean before, and he requested it tonight and so you did as he pleased, if you had guests or not.
"I forgot to make it earlier, so mix it up a bit." You say as you step out onto the patio and place the large bowl on the outside table while Jean finishes up on the grill and puts everyones plates at their seats before sitting down.
"I don't care. Thank you, so so much. Your cooking is.. chefs kiss, i swear to god," Connie goes on, trying to butter it up in which you just punch him lightly in the shoulder and roll your eyes.
You pull out your chair and sit next to Jean while Connie and Reiner look at you, and you furrow your brows.
"What..? You can all eat, we don't really pray here." You tell them, and watch as all the men begin to dig in. You shake your head at Gabi with a smile, and she laughs before moving to her own food as do you.
Picking up your wine glass, you take a sip. Gabi had gotten her water, the men had their beer, and everything was quiet other than the sound of forks clinking and water glasses being put down on the table.
"Reiner, when do you head back to the city?" Jean asks, wiping his hands on his napkin and Reiner glares at him fakely.
"Y/n, your boyfriend is trying to get rid of me before I could even finish my meal. I'm hurt." He says dramatically, and you all laugh. "But yeah, end of June so i'm not staying that long, just to see my Aunt, Uncle and Gabi of course." he tells Jean, and he nods. "But i'll probably be back for Thanksgiving, depending on what my mom says."
"Yeah, my mom wants me n' Jean in for Christmas, since she has a place up in Pennsylvania and we'll probably go up there, and Jean's family wants him in for Thanksgiving so we'll be all over the place." You tell him, and Jean hums in agreement.
"Fun. What about me, damn." Connie says.
"What about you, Connie? What have you been up to?" You ask sweetly in a sarcastic form. "If it's something about my m-"
"Dickin' down your mom, y/n." He crosses his arms, leaning back in his chair and flicking his sunglasses down his nose as everyone at the table breaks into laughter, nearly choking on their food as you do.
"I mean, y/n, your mom kinda is hot." Reiner agrees shamelessly, and your mouth gapes. You turn to Jean and he just looks directly into his water before speaking up.
"Your mom is pretty hot, to be h-"
