| mara's point of view
"Hey babe." Jimin smirked at me.
"What makes you think this is legal?" I glared at him, boths hands firmly on my hips while I was still in my sweatpants. "You three are loitering outside my house. This is called trespassing. I can sue-"
"Shh. You can save that shit for later." He brought his index finger up to my lips, shutting my mouth up instantly. Jimin smiled but only for a brief second until he saw what state I was in, "Why is your ass in those depressing clothes?"
I pushed his hand away from my face and barked at him, "Why are you still here? Don't you have a conscience?"
"Okay. I know. I'm sorry." Jimin said with his hand in his pockets. He easily stepped down. "But Yoongi is partly to blame too. He could've stopped but he didn't."
The air in my lungs almost ran out when Taehyung took me tightly in his arms. "Never do that again." He pulled away and looked at my face. "You made me so fucking worried."
"Taehyung what are you saying? I'm safe. You don't have to worry about me." I pushed him away but he held onto me like a giant koala. "Taehyung, I'm sorry."
"Hey, get off my girlfriend." Jimin finally got him off me but then they started fighting again.
"She's not your girlfriend." Taehyung told Jimin off.
"No." Jimin said, prolonging the syllable as he took my wrist, "Technically speaking, Mara is still my pretend girlfriend." He tilted his head, "Now hands off."
"Everyone shut up!" I came between Taehyung and Jimin as they prepared to clash again. "I'm no one's girlfriend."
Taehyung let him go without a word. I was so proud of him not giving into Jimin's methods. "This is so stupid." Taehyung protested, "Mara, you shouldn't talk to him."
"That's what I intend to do." I shrugged Jimin's hand off, throwing them to his side, "Where's that lunatic girlfriend of yours?"
"She's not a lunatic. She just needs help." Jimin still defended her.m. I know he felt the same way I did, maybe even worse since he's known Soo Jin almost all his life.
"Whatever just get yourselves out of my yard." I said, closing the door on them. Taehyung was fast as he put a foot before the door closed.
"No, you're coming with me." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my own house.
"Hey, where do you think you're touching! Let go!" I screamed, my other hand clutching on the door frame. "I'm not going anywhere with you guys. Mom!!"
My mom ran to the front door, witnessing me being kidnapped. Taehyung smiled at her, "Goodmorning Mrs. St. Claire! I'm taking your daughter now. I'll make sure she's safe."
Apparently, Taehyung has befriended my mom the past few days he spent loitering outside our house. He acted all chummy with her. I was shocked out of my wits.
"Just bring her back by dinner." She said and I sent her a shocked expression. "Oh and Taehyung, keep her safe. Don't let her out of your sight."
Taehyung nodded and gave my mom a smile, "You don't have to worry about anything, Mrs. st. Claire."
"You're my mother!" I told her with a really hurt expression as Taehyung caught both of my feet and carried me on his shoulders.
"I know, sweetie but you need get away from this house. You need to have fun. It's not healthy for a teenager to lock herself up in her room." She was smiling as she waved me goodbye. My own mother put me in these boys' hands. If only she knew that these boys were the reason why I voluntarily put myself on house arrest.

"Come on."
Taehyung took my hand and led me out of the car. We entered an alley, the walls were full of graffiti across it was an empty dumpster. Something clattered inside followed by a loud sound as if a person was clawing against the metal material.
I jumped to my feet and bumped against Taehyung's chest. "You should tell me ahead of time if you guys are hiding dead bodies in dumpsters."
"It's just a rat." He smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
"You should be more scared of us." Jimin said, making Jungkook smile to himself but he managed to hold it in then he nudged Jimin on his side. "Cut it out, Jimin."
Ugh, I'd love nothing more than to feel my knuckles against their nose bridges. Jesus christ forgive me 'cause they're making me think like a criminal.
"Ignore him." Taehyung whispered in my ear, his hand still around my shoulder. He turned me around and led me further inside the dim alley.
I could feel a glare behind my back but I'm not sure if it was Jimin's or Jungkook's. I shrugged Taehyung arm off gently, "Where are we?"
"At our place." Taehyung replied, opening the back door of what seemed like an abandoned one story building.
I stood grounded outside the door, Taehyung waited for me by the door while Jimin and Jungkook bypassed us. Both of them stopped walking and looked at me, wondering why I'm just standing outside.
"Mara, let's go." Taehyung took my hand gently, subtly assuring me that he's there to keep me safe.
"It doesn't look safe in there." I said, squinting my eyes through the dark hallway behind Jimin.
Jungkook stared at our connected hands before he decided to speak, "We own this building so you're safe here. Don't worry."
How do you even own a building? You're a bunch of teenagers.
I took my first step inside with Taehyung beside me. We reached another hallway, the only difference is that there were red lights. Yes, red lights like those in underground clubs. Damn, it hurts my eyes.
Our footsteps echoed behind us. It felt like a horror movie of some sort but I trust Taehyung. He promised to keep me safe and I believe him even after all the mess. I know he didn't lie to me when he said that he liked me. I stared at his hand that held mine and felt sorry for not being able to reciprocate his feelings.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung whispered lowly to me. I gave him a nod and a small smile.
The hallway finally ended as we entered a room, the size of a normal living room but it was dark again and the only light came from a broken window pane on the right side of the room. Across us was another room which didn't have a door.
Jimin turned to face me, "It's the first time we're having a girl here." He sent me a smile as he moved aside and gestured for me to come in, "Come on in. Step inside our office."
"Oh, you're out of your house. Nice." Jin lifted his head up momentarily when I entered then returned to reading a cook book.
"I didn't really plan on going out." I told him bitterly as I sent a look to the grinning Taehyung.
"I'll just change my shirt. You can sit anywhere you like." Taehyung said before going into another room.
I did as he told me to and found myself a seat beside Jin, "Do you like cooking?" I started.
"No." He replied nonchalantly, turning to another page, "I never liked cooking. It's just a way to pick up girls."
Jungkook sat on the other sofa with Jimin, who was suddenly busy with a comic book. I let my eyes wander around the room, finding a bunch of adult magazines under the coffee table. Typical. There was a large monitor on the other side of the room, some contraptions attached to it; a keyboard, speakers and something like a launchpad. It looks like a workstation.
"I'm getting food. Who wants to come with me?" Jin said when he was finally done with the cook book, he threw it aside and grabbed his keys.
Jimin volunteered to accompany Jin and then they took Taehyung and I was left with a sleeping Jungkook. I watched his peaceful sleeping face since I had no other ways of entertaining myself. I didn't want to scan adult magazines, God no.
"You're staring."
I was startled when Jungkook's lips moved. He opened his eyes and smiled up at me as he pushed himself up in a sitting position. "Was I asleep for long time?"
"No." I answered and tried to act in a not so awkward manner but it ended up still awkward as hell. "The others went out to get food."
He extended his arms and stretched his back before facing me again, "What would you like to do now?"
"Huh?" I was blank for a moment. I don't know what I want to do.
"You still haven't told me what happened that night?" He sat down again and met my eyes. "That night I found you crying.."
I opened my mouth and found it really dry so I took a second before I answered, "You already know what happened."
"Soo Jin told us what happened but I haven't heard your side of the story." Jungkook said, "Do you want to get out of here? I forgot about the CCTVs."
Jungkook pointed to the corners of the room where the motion sensitive cameras were installed, "Why the hell do you have CCTVs installed in this place?" I exclaimed. It was absurd.
"Because we want to make sure all of us sticks to the rule." Jungkook stood up and put on his jacket.
"What rule?"
"To keep this place a fuck-free zone." He replied, "It doesn't matter what your gender is, as long as you're here, you're non fuckable. This is the safest place in the world."
author'sw note;
I made up some words in this chapter like fuckable lol there's no such thing but it exists in my dictionary hahaha
